I got in a bit of work today. But also apparently I am having a sciatica flare up in my left leg. Not fun. Sharp pain from my back going down to my calf/side of my leg. But I have to sit here and get this work done. Bleh.

I missed my appointment. My mother wanted to fight me the entire time. We got lost because she didnt want to listen to me and trust my directions . We argued, she yelled and threw stuff at me. The whole day was fucked. Im tired. Unfortunately this morning I started my period, heavy and painful too. So I get to experience that ‘lovely’ dysphoria and dissociation that comes with it. Not to mention my right ear is hurting, and im barely getting over my left ear infection. I toom antibiotics for a week but they left me sicker physically. Sigh...

So I was watching this. Again. And I don't know how I missed it multiple times but this beat where Robbie has been told to go by the other boys and he pauses on Mark who he thinks will stand up for him. But he says nothing because they've all been told they're replaceable so it's scary to speak out. Rob's nod before he moves on. 😔

Sitting with Sylus in companionable silence as you work and he reads. Then the sudden dissociation as flashes of caves and cathedrals pass in your mind, brief glimpses of a time gone by. An echo of a name comes to you, a name that escapes the moment you utter it.
“Stayrus…?”
Sylus startles you back into reality when he drops his book, and he stares at you wide eyed. The hope that twinkled in his eye was utterly heartbreaking.
“Where did you learn that name?”
“What?” You tilt your head in confusion. “What name?”
A painful silence spreads between you. Without answering, Sylus composes himself, brushing off your confusion and going back to his reading. The mood in the room dropped drastically.
He distances himself from you, working through whatever emotion that you saw flicker on his face when you questioned him.
You knew you upset him somehow, but you didn’t know how.
that was one of the shortest hospital stays of my life, but the highlight of the whole event is that i got the paramedics to read homestuck and listen to lemon demon.

There’s only a handful of hairs left on my top lip; everything else has been obliterated via laser hair removal and electrolysis. All the same, I get pretty self-conscious about the few surviving stragglers and run a razor over them every now and then.
I just did that now, and somehow managed to lop the top off of two hair follicles (which are of course, as is their want, bleeding profusely).
HOW?! This is like playing Minesweeper with a 5 x 5 grid and literally one mine in the bottom left corner, and still somehow hitting it on the first try!
