A digital painting of two men walking through a convention. It is in a fantasy Victorian era world's fair type setting.
The first man is tall and thin with a pencil mustache. He is grinning excitedly, wearing a "Cab-con" t-shirt over his purple overcoat. He is swinging a tote-bag of con goodies and is looking over his shoulder at his companion.
His companion is short and stocky with a thick beard and shaven head. He walks with cane and a brace on his leg. He is scowling and his pockets are lumpy with stench lines and flies coming off them.
In the background there are booths showing off fancy carts with fair-goers admiring them. One booth is showing off a penny farthing bicycle, only it has two of the giant wheels and the sign says "penny penny, or farthing farthing"

Kasimir and Edvard at Cabcon, having two wildly different experiences (This definitely breaks canon on the timeline of clothes buy i couldn't resist the visual)

(Also, the line is for sure "penny penny, or possibly farthing farthing" but I painted it without double checking >_< )

I painted this back when blades came out and never posted it. I was super proud of it at the time, and I'm posting it now before succumb to the urge to repaint it, I still like it, i just could do more with the background

visual description is in the alt text :)

robin’s ears look just a little too pointy for me to think he’s human tbh. i’m tempted to guess half elf

Jane Douglas next to character art of her Wyrdwood PC, Willowfine. Willowfine appears human with light skin, long brown hair, and starry freckles. She wears a woven crown in her hair and a green dress. Jane is dressed similarly and waves with a smile.
Andy Farrant next to character art of his Wyrdwood PC, Robin. Robin appears human with light skin, short black hair that fades to blonde on one side, and dimples. He wears a plain white button-up. Andy is dressed similarly and looks forward with a startled expression.
Mike Channell next to character art of his Wyrdwood PC, Lug. Lug appears to be a firbolg with blue skin, chin length brown hair, long ears, and a beard. He wears a plain tan shirt with leather armor over one shoulder. Mike is dressed similarly and smiles excitedly.
Ellen Rose next to character art of her Wyrdwood PC, Cressida. Cressida appears to be a faun or satyr with two curling ram horns, light skin, long brown hair, and pointed ears. She wears a blue-green robe and an opal necklace. Ellen is dressed similarly and holds her hand to her mouth in shock.
Luke Westaway next to character art of his Wyrdwood PC, Happen. Happen appears human with light skin, short wavy brown hair, and a gaunt face. He wears a black hood over gray clothing, and has eyeliner and a skull tattoo with dice for eyes on the back of his hand. Luke is dressed similarly and looks to the side with a serious expression.

Quick still shots of the Wyrdwood PCs, for anyone curious :3

I’ve only just started Oxventure’s Deadlands first season and I’m already obsessed I can’t even begin to explain. Every single character rocks and Andy is doing an absolutely fantastic job as the Marshall. I forgot how much I love a western setting and am just eating up every minute of the podcast currently. I’m so excited to get to know these characters further and eventually catch up to season 2!

I’ve Still Been Slowly Catching Up On The Oxventure Podcast While At Work And Just Finished The Extinction

I’ve still been slowly catching up on the Oxventure podcast while at work and just finished the Extinction season. I was gladly surprised with the Corazon centric seasonal finale and thought his internal reflection was fascinating, I just wish we were able to see more of it! The whole dungeon crawl and boss battle in the Curse Hole had me stressed out so much that I’m sure my coworkers thought I was going insane. The Oxventure crew has a special place in my heart and I’m excited for some more Blades in the Dark and Deadlands on my horizon!
