Honestly, none of us were prepared for this.
I cannot believe freaking Owaisi has shown more maturity, sensitivity and support for the Hindu victims killed in Pahalgam at the hands of terrorists than the freaking moral policing lefturds.
28 people were killed in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Why you may ask? Because they were Hindus. They were brutally murdered in front of their families just because of the faith that they practiced. This happened in a country where Hindus are a majority and still some people whine and moan that Hinduphobia is not real. I have seen people victim blame and ignore the massacre of Hindus in west Bengal and Bangladesh, and I won't be surprised if they do it again. So where are the "HiNdUpHoBiAIsNoTReAl" idiots rn? Can you say this in front of the families whose loved ones have been killed? Can you say that to the woman whose husband was killed on their honeymoon because he was not a Muslim? Some Muslim men were seen celebrating this terror attack, what do you call this depraved behaviour if not Hinduphobia?
Secularism is a joke in this country. Why must Hindus alone bear the burden of secularism? Why are so called minorities not held to the same standards? The hypocrisy is suffocating. I bet hinduphobes will come up with some excuse or other or they might label me as a islamophobe but honestly idgf. You guys are also responsible. Whoever is a silent witness and the ones defending the terrorists, All of you are responsible.

This is a ridiculous premise though.
No 'magic combo' of religions or local/non-local or gender etc would have made it 'okay' that this terrorist group killed unarmed civilians on a vacation.

She is Hindu and that's all that mattered.

In the video above you see a Pakistani TV channel covering a state funeral where this literal terrorist is given the same respect as their actual military.
Pakistan's Bid to Escalate Negated
India’s current stance, as per the Ministry of Defence statement, is to respond to Pakistan’s actions in a focused and measured way, avoiding escalation. India will target military sites if attacked but prefers de-escalation, expecting Pakistan to respect this approach.

Well. Now to get more serious.
As an indian, this entire india-pak conflict has been enlightening about one thing- other countries don't give a jackshit. Nor does global. In the sense that, the pain india felt due to Pahalgam can never be translated to you.
Disclaimer: I do not hope for a war or escalation. I am just tired of seeing people talk about this stuff in black and white terms.
I am tired of entire narrative with this, "ahhh india attacked civillians!"
Civilian deaths are to be mourned. They shouldn't happen. I pray for their families but the attack was never targeting civilians- unlike what Pak did last night. Which I will get to shortly.
So, it was a calculated retaliation (on terrorist sites) to Pahalgam which was fucking horrific and bone chilling. The entire country was chilled.

Let's get to last night now.
I live in the state adjacent to a border one. My hometown itself was one of the places which was rained by missiles. My family could hear the blasts, the crackling noise till 2 am. My baby cousin was crying scared. All was dark and the only light was of missiles.
Pakistan attacked civillian cities, alongside the ones with army bases. They did not give a fuck.
I don't know how it isn't clear what the country is trying to do already.
I am just so sick. Hoping no escalation happens. We don't need a war. No one does. But stop painting India in red. Pakistan isn't the victim. They haven't been from a while.
Final words? Asking the common citizens of both countries to stay safe.
