Uzi finds herself missing V. Wishing she would come back. But be careful of what you wish for! (Post episode 7, Uzi isn't in space anymore, sorry about that.)
Step. Step. Step.
"V! Are you in here?" The light illuminated the pod. Hot pink, digital eyes darted from side to side, taking only a quick glance at the darkness which enveloped the area. "Lizzy who's the friend you're looking for again?" Thad asked curiously. He had heard about this 'friend' for a few hours, the one letter name made her sound like a Disassembly Drone like Uzi's friend.
"V. I brought her to prom a few months ago you dumbass," Lizzy reminded him, "short silver hair, addicted to murder, that sort of girl"
"I really don't think she's here. Don't you think it's time to..."
"Wait shut up, shut up, I hear something outside!" Lizzy bolted outside to see another worker drone she didn't recognise. A question mark was displayed on her screen."Oh, hey Zi!" Thad smiled and waved, sprinting to the purple-haired drone and raising his hand for a high-five. Uzi did nothing, a stoic expression on her screen before she seemed to snap out of it, awkwardly smiling.
"Hi, Thad... Lizzy" she greeted hoarsely.
"Where's V?" The tallest of the drones questioned Uzi before adding on "We've been looking all over the place for her and she isn't responding to my texts!" Her tone was worried, something the both had never seen from her frequently.
"She..." Uzi began, but her voice box stopped. She began whimpering and shaking, barely being able to stand on her two feet.
"Uzi...?" Thad slowly put his hand on his friend's shoulder, but she stepped back and whimpered, as if it were revoking a memory
♤
Trudging through the thick snow that blanketed the ground with his arm carefully around her shoulders to help stabilise her, Thad was walking with Uzi, hearing taps and clicks from Lizzy, who was frantically texting as fast as her metal fingers could go.
"Uzi... do you wanna tell us what's wrong?" Thad inquired for what felt like the hundredth time. He usually wasn't one to pry into people's businesses, but this was his friend.
"No! Bite me!" She hissed, looking the other direction but not moving away.
Truth be told; the drone she was refusing to talk about always wrapped her arm around Uzi that way when she felt the need to protect her. It was nice to feel that again. Even in a platonic sense like it was when Thad did it.
"Fine then." He huffed, giving up on getting anything out of her yet. "We're here by the way." He said, letting go of her, looking up at a metal door that read: 'DOORMAN'
♤
"Uzi... your friends are here... if you could come out that'd be-"
"BITE ME! I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Soft whimpers could be heard from the room directly afterwards. It seemed like she had been isolating herself in her room more often after camp. Hiding behind doors.
Ironic how now the only thing Khan wanted was to get rid of the wretched thing.
He peeked through the hinges, purple light spilling through the gaps. Papers no longer scattered on the floors like how they used to be.
"Uzi, I know how it-"
Khan suddenly felt the ground shake a bit, he stumbled backwards. The door had swung open, surprisingly not detaching from the wall.
"NO! NO YOU WOULDN'T! HAVE YOU BEEN PROMISED THAT YOU'D BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY BE WITH THE PERSON YOU COULDN'T HAVE BEEN WITH ONCE 'THIS IS ALL OVER'?!" Pause. Uzi was trying to catch her breath, flinching when he slowly put his hand on her shoulder, then taking it off and sitting on the cold and hard floor.
Khan's mind was racing. His white eyes softening as he processed each and every word his daughter had spoken, not daring to look up.
"Yes. Yes I would have an idea of what you're going through. With your mother."
Khan was shivering, not from the non-existent cold air surrounding them, rather the memory haunting him of when Nori had repeatedly told him the same thing.
"She'd always say that once she could control her Solver abilities completely... we could be a normal family.
"Khan chuckled a little bit, reminiscing of some days, he'd wake up and get terrified of that one day he'd need to face reality that it couldn't work out. And how Nori would stay up with him, stay optimistic. She whole-heartedly believed she would fix her Solver before it got to that point. Or atleast, that's what she told him.
His hands were on his forehead, elbows on his knees and his head faced down, not wanting to remember those times knowing the outcome that they both hoped for never came to be."Dad..." Uzi began, but didn't finish.
"I-If you just want to have space or alone time or anything then, well, I'm happy to give it." Khan smiled, wanting to make thing right for his previous wrongdoings by giving Uzi the peace and quiet he wished people gave him when he had to put Nori down.It wasn't nearly enough to fix his neglect for her well-being all these years, but it was a start. He would start to fix things.
As he was about to stand up, a force shoved him back slightly. It was a hug. Given by Uzi. He had forgotten how this felt. "If it's okay with you, we can grieve together...?" She suggested, virtual tears on her violet eyes.A silence so loud rang. But it was an awkward silence.
"More than okay." Khan simply said, returning the embrace.A knock on the door was heard. Uzi let go of her father. He got up and went to the door, leaving Uzi with her emotions. Her anguish over V's death will likely stay for however long it wants. But at least she has somebody to relate with, somebody who constantly could be near her, somebody who-
"Uzi...?" Khan sounded worried. She looked over to see J at the door.
"It's V." J whispered.
♤
"Uzi slow down!" Khan huffed, following Uzi, who was already ahead of J. The snow crunching below her boots.Coming to a halt, ice on her clothes, her body froze as she saw the last drone she'd ever think to see again.
"Uzi...?"
"V?!"

I've seen a lot of Danny being Ellie's dad but where is the Pariah Dark adopts this sassy ghost child that beat him in a duel and is now prince because why not adopt the overpowered child. Which leads to the JL fighting Danny for whatever reason and when he calls for help he calls his new dad and oh shit is that the Ghost King
Danny was with Sam and Tucker in the Ghost Zone when three seven-man squads of ghost knights found him. They had found an empty island near the portal that they had made into a makeshift training ground so he could safely practice his powers.
The most recent fights had shown him that he was only winning because of his quick thinking and adaptability that tricked his enemies, but he needed to get better if he ever wanted to prevent an incident like the ones at Axion labs from ever happening again.
He couldn't afford to create another arch-nemesis. Plus his good luck and clever mind could only get him so far if his body couldn't keep up.
He was in the middle of shooting the rays from the various drones Tucker set up when the knights landed on his island. Their metal clacking with each step they took, marching away from their skeleton winged horses.
At once, Danny flew between the ground, feeling more than seeing his friends scrambling for their weapons as he raised his fists.
"Who are you?" He demanded, watching the other squads surround them. Tucker and Sam spun around, each pressing up against his back in a makeshift triangle.
The hum of their ghost guns echoed through the air as the knights continued their marching until they had formed a circle around the three.
I don't like this. Danny thought felt his own ecto-ray heating up in his palms. They look oddly familiar. Where have I seen those armors?
The knights all, simultaneously, dropped to one knee, surprising the three teenagers. They bowed their heads, and even the winged horses followed suit,
"Prince Phantom." The one right in front of Danny said, "We have come as your formal escort to your Father's keep. He demands your presence."
"My Dad?" Danny repeats, voiced, laced with doubt. , "My Dad sent ghosts to escort me home? Do I look stupid to you?"
"It is not your sire, Jack Fenton, I speak of," The Knight explains, voice still respectful even when staring at the ground. Danny can't see his eyes or any of the other knights, as they are hidden in the shadows of their helmets. "I speak of the Ghost King, Pariah Dark, who has chosen you are his Heir. You are summoned to complete the adoption process."
"Yeah, that's going to be a no from me." Danny deadpans, even if his insides have turned to ice. Pariah Dark was resealed, Danny personally made sure of that, so why was this guy speaking as if he was back?
"Apologies, my Prince, but you do not have a choice," declares the other, and almost as if that was a cue of some kind, the other knights rise from their knees. They descend on the trio faster than Danny was expecting.
He ducks and waves as three different fists fly to his face, reaching down to aim an uppercut at the one on his right. It lands with a clack and a sting in his knuckles as the helmets odd shape as some protection to the chin
Shaking out his hand, Danny is not prepared for the kick to his side that sends him flying.
He lands in a heap but is quick to get back to his feet as rope is lassoed around one of his wrists. He gapes at it as another knight, quickly throws on to his other arms and suddenly he's being tugged in two different directions.
Summoning his ice, Danny has it travel down the ropes towards the knights, who drop it just as the ice would have encased their hands. Freed, Danny, leaps back as a flying kick paces mere inches from his face and has to quickly raise his hands to block an ecto-ray to the chest.
"Do not harm the Prince!" The leader barks "Capture the humans, he will go willingly if we have hostages!"
Danny swings his head towards Sam and Tucker, who have been forced up against a wall, shooting desperately at the advancing knights. Their shots are being knocked away by flowing swords, and it was obvious their movements were slowing down.
Despite the many fights they have helped in a fight, neither Sam or Tucker could outlast a ghost. Their stamina was superior, and sadly, it seemed these particular ghosts also had training under their belts.
"No!" Danny moved to help but just as he turned his eyes away from the Knight Leader, a bubble of ectoplasm exploded in his face.
"I told you not to harm the Prince!" Someone roars over the sound of ringing in his ears. Hands fell on all his limbs holding him down, even if he weakly tried to shake them off. Everything is spinning, though, and his vision is blurring in and out of focus. He sees Sam fall to the ground with Tucker screaming something he can't make out before Danny is left up and dragged away.
There is a weight around his wrists and ankles, indicating he's been tied up, but Danny can barely keep his head from bobbing to the side. He had no energy to attempt to break his bonds.
He knew no more as he was thrown into a carriage, the block dots in his vision taking over completely.
Three years later, Danny is overlooking the development of a ghost colony in a far-off corner of King Pariah's empire. This colony was made entirely of former slaves whom Danny fought his adoptive father tooth and nail to free.
Pariah moods were odd. He controlled everything Danny did, but he also wanted Danny to take his own stances on how the empire should be run. The Ghost King's control had expanded to nearly all corners of the Ghost Zone, breaking and tearing apart any resistance they found.
War had broken out as ghosts from various tribes and kingdoms fought desperately to keep their freedom. Pariah saw no challenge in their attempts, crushing anyone that stood in his way.
His aim was to once again rule all over the dead, and later, once every ghost bowed to his whim, invade the living world again but this time there would be no Halfa child to stop him.
Said Halfa that was now heir of the tyrant. Everyone knew about the kidnapped Prince, as his tale was told in resistance meetings both in pity and in rage.
Prince Phantom's iconic white hair and green eyes were just as widely known as his golden collar was. It was created by King Pariah, to keep the prince in the area by an invisible fence he set up. Should Prince Phantom attempt to fly or walk out of those areas, the collar would turn into flaming chains, yanking the prince back. It wouldn't burn him, thankfully, but it would drag him roughly.
It didn't help that the collar stopped Prince Phantom from accessing his powers. It was almost like he was a full human, except he was trapped in his ghost form and in the Ghost Zone, which meant his options were far more limited than normal.
He was more of a royal hostage than an actual heir.
Even out here, while overlooking reports and listening to testimonies, Prince Phantom could not leave the tower of the newest colony. At all times there was two guards that followed him and limited his movements too.
Despite his position, the Prince did everything he could to protect the people, tales of him jumping to a servant's defense against his father, advocating for the abolishment of slavery, and even offering to serve any punishment for any ghost child. The people loved their prince, and all wanted to one day see him free as well.
Rumors had it that the leaders of the main resistance were two humans who were desperately trying to free Prince Phantom, but since everyone in the rebellion's army's identity remained secret, no one knew how true those rumors were.
Danny unrolls a scroll, sighing at the numbers. "If nothing is done about the harvest, the people will starve come winter. We need to start rationing. Take whatever you need from my own supplies before we start applying it to the people."
"My Prince, we couldn't possibly ask that of you. Already, you granted us freedom and a home. ," Started the mayor of the colony, only to stop at the sight of a large magical circle forming around the prince. Danny's eyes widened as well, feeling his collar start to glow as whatever it is attempt to yank him away.
He feels it start to crack as the magic overpowers the collar's settings. Hope flares in his heart as his guards leap to their feet. Before they can so much as come near him, the mayor throws himself at them with a roar. "Run, my Prince! I shall buy you time!"
Danny is swallowed by light before he can respond, the collar left behind to clatter against the floor. He is flung through a portal made of multiple colors, so bright and blinding he has to close his eyes and hold his hands in front of his face. He lands with a startled yelp, but his hands fling to his neck.
When all he feels is flesh, tears burn his eyes sight as he sobs. He's free. He's finally free.
"Well, this isn't what I was expecting when I offered a piece of my soul" An accented voice hums, drawing attention to a group of oddly dressed strangers. A man in a trench coat lights a cigar, the glow casting his face in a dim light as he stares down at Danny with a detached appraisal glint in his eyes. "Tell me, why did my spell bring me a child when I asked for a champion to overthrow the Ghost King?"
Danny's ice core starts to slowly freeze the room over, his breath visible as his eyes harden. "It brought me here because I am going to kill my father."
"Prince Phantom" Trench coat man identifies with some relief. "A pleasure to finally meet you. This is the Justice League and they like to lend a hand in your parricide."
Danny makes a small mistake that spirals out of control three years later. It starts on a fateful day while working in Clockwork's Tower, covering for the Time Lord. He had pushed for the man to take a break after hearing he hadn't been on vacation since the death of dinosaurs.
It was also recommended by Frostbite. Apparently, the stress of his job was causing Clockwork to lose grip on his age shift. Much like a human grinding their teeth in sleep due to stress, Clockwork's core was rapidly shifting him through his ages, causing aches along his core. When Danny met him, the way he went from child to middle-aged man and finally old adult was just physical proof of Clockwork's stress.
His shifting got under control after they defeated Dan, but that didn't mean his muscles had a chance to relax. He was a little better off the second time Danny saw Clockwork, but when Danny asked if he could return to his parent's college days, Clockwork's form quickly started shifting again.
Danny felt horrible about it, but he was fine taking over for the ghost to relax on vacation. It wasn't even that hard. All he had to do was watch the various timelines and record large catastrophes and bursts of hope. He also had to watch hourglasses that indicated the natural flow of time in multiple worlds. Sometimes, the sand would get stuck, so he would need to stir it with a large spoon, careful to not let anything else touch the golden shine of the time sands.
It helped that the Tower was semi-sentient. It overheard him making up lies about what he was doing on a call with his parents. Danny had told his parents that this summer, he was going away to work as a summer camp counselor, while Clockwork had selected a timeline that was moving at a different speed.
One month in Danny's home dimension was a hundred years in the one Clockwork was relaxing in. When Danny's school started again, his friend would have a lovely four hundred years to enjoy. Of course, this was a tiny break for a being like Clockwork, but Danny promised to take over every summer until he graduated.
The Tower had created a room that looked a lot like a log cabin whenever his parents attempted to video call. It even created a paycheck with actual funds directly deposited into his teen account that his parents had access to.
Their doubts about Danny lying vanished when "Camp Kronos" placed a rather generous amount of money under his name. His dad was even proud of Danny going out of his way to earn his own money. It's been a long time since his Dad sounded like that when talking about his accomplishments.
Clockwork had told him the Tower spoke to him mentally because it was his Haunt, but since Danny was only Haunt sitting, he was directed to a chalkboard that the Tower could use to write messages to him. That's how he knew it was the Tower's doing that his cover was safe back home.
Danny thanked the Tower by cleaning it from top to bottom. When he asked it what its name and pronouns were, the Tower requested to be called "it" and to stop using a capital T when referring to it.
Danny tries, but he still mentally changes tower into Tower since that is its name in his head. The tiles shake in irritation whenever he accidentally says it out loud.
Besides that, the Tower didn't really interact with him. Danny made his own food, did his own laundry, and did his work. There was never a clock in and clock out; the only time he wasn't attending the timelines was when he took short breaks to sleep, eat, bathe, and clean.
But the only time he wasn't watching the time was when he was asleep, and that was because of Tower. It somehow found a way to throw the timelines in his face whenever possible.
He did enjoy using the large tub to soak in bubbles, but Tower shifted the bubbles to reflect different scenes of the timelines he was watching, causing them to flout like the tower was blowing bubbles while Danny sat in the water. If it went that far to ensure that Danny was constantly working, he could see why Clockwork had such a hard time with the core shifting.
Then, one day, while soaking, he closed his eyes, ignoring the shifting tiles and the slight rumbling of the walls as Tower grumbled. He told it that he was taking a short break and it could wait until he was done. He would rest his eyes, no matter how important it was for him to watch.
He couldn't have them close for more than a minute, but that was all the mistake needed. At that time, one of the bubbles' timelines shifted because someone in it was being an idiot and messing with time, and it started to glow with new times and forming.
Sand that Danny accidentally touched when the bubble popped right on his nose. Tower was throwing a fit, shaking everything like an earthquake as the sand fell into the soap water.
He blinked open his eyes, startled, and much to his horror, came face to face with the sand, forming a miniature window into that timeline. A human teenager was staring right back at him, jaw dropped with a healthy building flush rising on his cheeks, as the time sand danced around his eyes, though he seemed unable to look away from Danny.
Windows were often granted to specific individuals favored by Clockwork, causing them to become Seers. It was not a common blessing because, more often than not, mortals could not handle future knowledge.
Even ghosts long dead struggle with the power. The only reason Danny was able to cover for Clockwork was because his brain was both dead and alive at the same time. Madness cause time couldn't touch him because, technically, he was already crazy.
Tower shook again, the stone groaning under its disapproval as Danny became uncomfortable, aware that the only thing protecting his dignity was the white foam low on his stomach. With a yelp, he sank further into the water, his hands covering his important bits out of habit, and he waved his hand to close the window.
The teenager moved his mouth in a silent plea, but he vanished in a swirl as quickly as he appeared. It was only a few seconds. Not even ten. Surely nothing could come from that?
A mistake he pushed to the back of his mind.
Surely, not paying attention for just a tiny amount of time could not have caused anything to be too bad.

"Hey dude? You okay?"
"I just....I just saw an angel...."
"What?"
"An angel. He warned me....showed me....I have to tell Mr.Wayne!"
"Wait! Where are you going!? Tell Mr. Wayne what?!"
"His son is going to die next week!"
"What!?"
"Jason Todd! The angel showed me! I have to warn them!"
_____________________________________________________________
Tower didn't tell on him, and Danny didn't bring it up. Clockwork returned in mid-adult form when the summer ended, looking far more relaxed and no longer shifting forms so rapidly.
He apparently spent four hundred years on a small paradise island, sipping coconut and dancing with locals who thought him a god. He hugged Danny, another large bonus for his paycheck, and sent him on his way.
The following summer, Danny completely forgot about the little accident and never bothered to check on that timeline. Clockwork was unaware there was a major shift in it, so he assumed that the world was moving as it should, though he complained that he had to unclog it a lot more because of a Seer who often opened too many Windows.
It was a testament to how much he needed that vacation for Clockwork to forget he never chose that Seer, despite the young human proving he had the will to handle his visions.
\Danny never realized that Seer was the same teenager he saw back then until one day three years later when Seer was an established fortune teller working as a consultant with some hero society and had used some of the said heroes to try and contact Clockwork.
"Danny." Clockwork started watching the young human set up an altar. "Why is a human attempting to use himself as a virgin sacrifice for me?"
"Ummmm"
"Danny, why does my Haunt claim you gave him the Sight."
"Well....."
"Danny why is Timothy Jackson Drake, who fated to be the third Robin in this time line, now a mere consultant who use his power of Sight for money gain? He's not a hero, did you know that? He merely lives next door to one of that world's greatest heroes and is obsessed with finding his Angel"
"I may have....made a mistake when I was fourteen."
"Danny," Clockwork's faux-friendly tone grew sharper as his form shifted from the three stages of age. "What did you do?"
"I can fix it!"
"How."
"I'll....enter that timeline and set it on the right path? I can answer his summons and convince him to become a hero with the Bats?"
Tower shook as if laughing at him.
"How." The hiss that came from the Time god was almost incomprehensible, with the amount of rage crammed into one syllable
"I'll-I can-Honey pot him!" Danny whimpered, cowering under the withering death glare Clockwork was aiming at him. "I can convince him that being a vigilante is cool and hot, so he'll be Red Robin, and the timeline can be saved?"
Clockwork's eyes darken. "You better not fail me. Send him away, Haunt"
Tower- the traitor- moved instantly. It shifted its stones to drag Danny to Red Robin's cluttered hourglass. It flung him in before he could protest, using Danny to unclog it. He is nearly down in the sinking sand, scrambling for purpose before he falls flat on his bum, and the sand vanishes.
A soft gasp has him looking up. Standing before him is the Seer Tim Drake, who looks beyond happy.
"It's you! My Angel!"

As for his part, Alhaitham was having a disastrous day. His soundproof earpieces were broken, courtesy of a drunken squabble with his roommate the previous night, and everyone in the Akademiya was getting on his nerves. The voices of hopeful scholars and researchers seeking funding had been drilling into his brain since early in the morning, and he had a pounding headache, not to mention how bad his ears hurt since everything was so loud. He had forgotten just how sensitive they were, having taken his peaceful existence with his earpieces for granted. Once more, he had been stopped by a researcher, on his way back to his office, so now he stood in the hall, pretending he had any interest in the person in front of him. “Excuse me, so sorry to interrupt,” You sidled up to the two, immediately capturing the attention of the researcher that you cut off, you gave him an apologetic look as you continued speaking. “I’m going to have to steal the Acting Grand Sage from you; we’ve got an emergency meeting that you’re going to make him late for.”Â
“What?! We’re having an important conversation, I’m sure you can wait just a few minutes. You can’t just demand his presence.” The researcher was getting on your nerves, sure you were lying, but he didn’t know that, yet he was still being so rude to you.Â
“Look, I know and I apologize, but this meeting was tabled last week due to scheduling conflicts and today’s the only day this week we’ve managed to squeeze in the time.” You tried to give the guy an apologetic smile, but he was getting on your nerves enough that it was a bit hard to muster up.Â
The guy scoffed, “Surely, since this meeting was tabled in the first place it can wait a few minutes.”Â
Your smile dropped and you eyed him, giving him an unimpressed look. “I didn’t want to do this, but I will pull rank so to speak if you won’t let this go. As most situations are, this one has only gotten worse as it’s been put off, so I’d appreciate it if you let it go. I’m sure if you write up your request and send it through the proper channels it’ll get to the Acting Grand Sage all the same, if you want you can put the request in my office’s mailbox and I’ll deliver it to him myself.”Â
The researcher seemed to shrink in on himself a bit, and you knew you assumed correctly, he was needling Alhaitham now since whatever request he had couldn’t go through the regular channels, or it had already been shot down. As he stuttered over himself apologizing for delaying your meeting, you gave him another easy smile.Â
Alhaitham watched the exchange patiently, he didn’t want to interfere as he didn’t want to talk and in general he didn’t know you that well, but he knew you had worked with the matra before on a couple of plagiarism cases; he distinctly remembered Cyno mentioning you in relation to a recent case. Since the General Mahamatra himself trusted you, Alhaitham followed you, although begrudgingly as he really just wanted to make an excuse to leave early. In all honesty, he had no idea what meeting you were talking about, but he could care less if it at least got him away from that incessant guy.Â
You easily detached the Sage from the researcher, once again waving at him in apology as you tried to look like you were rushing off to do something important. You didn’t say anything at all to Alhaitham as the two of you quickly walked to your own office. It was cozy, with a small two-seater couch in addition to the large desk that was laden with your work. You said nothing as you closed the door and then made quick work of shutting the curtains and turning on the small desk lamp, leaving the small sofa in semi darkness.Â
“Uh…I should have some…?” You spoke mostly to yourself, as you were slightly nervous at having the Acting Grand Sage in your office, but you dutifully dug around in your desk until you came upon your own ear defenders. “Here, they’re probably not as comfortable as your earpieces, and they aren’t completely soundproof, but they should work. No one will bother you in here and you’re welcome to lay down if you want. I’m just going to be working on paperwork, but if you need background noise you’re welcome to root through my spin crystals to find one to play.” You didn’t give it much else thought, and settled into your desk chair, easily finding a rhythm as you started scribbling through your work.Â
Alhaitham stood there for a long second before he snapped himself out of his stupor, sliding the headphones on and settling onto the couch, propping his head up with an arm and closing his eyes to give them a rest.Â
His immediate thought was that you wanted something from him, and consequently wanted him in your debt, but as he glanced at you through squinted eyes, he discarded this notion. The fact that you weren’t paying any attention to him gave him relief, you weren’t analyzing him to make sure he was grateful, and he was finally getting his first reprieve of the day. Although he was very much caught off guard by your kindness, it was much appreciated.Â
Alhaitham couldn’t help by briefly think of why this kindness was unusual to him; as a child growing up, acting more adult than boy, not being able to stand loud conversations, not being able to tolerate eating soups or bread that was soggy, he was called a difficult child by those who looked after him - his teacher, his neighbor, but never his grandmother. She always retained a kindness, simply saying his brain worked in a different way than her own, so of course he had different ways of acting and different ways of thinking.Â
Alhaitham couldn’t help but also come to the hypothesis that you too were different like him; how else would you have spotted him shutting down whereas everyone else saw his normal, stoic exterior? How else would you have been able to help? Or give him peace and quiet for once when everyone seemed to clamor for his approval today? It made him appreciate your quiet presence, diligently scanning through papers and signing as needed, all the more.Â
Remus steadily eased the door to their dorm shut, returning from another one of his late-night searches through the library’s restricted area.
“Find anything interesting?” Lily asked from her seat on the couch.
“No, on either side, no way to make me feel like a girl, no way to make me look like a boy,”Â
“Remus, I agreed to cover for you so you could look for ways to be you, not change who you are,” Lily said sternly.
“But if there’s a way to fix me, I should be looking for that option too, no?” There was a genuine question in his voice, but the sorrow, the years it took for him to even acknowledge himself for who he was, hid deep in the same statement.Â
“Moon, you don’t need to be fixed, at all. You’re perfect just as you are, and the only goal of this search should be to make you more comfortable.”
Moony sat with that statement, letting his thoughts envelop him.Â
As Lily heard someone stumbling into the corridor, she called, “Not it!” snapping Remus out of his thoughts.
She briskly retreated to her room, passing the duty of answering the door to Remus.
“C’mon Lils, I answered last time!” he called to her, eliciting only a chuckle in response.Â
In the meantime, Sirius tripped his way up the stairs, disoriented and drunk.
“Prongs! Let me in, you idiot!” he hollered, banging on their door.
“Wrong room, love!” a call came through the door.
“Awww, Moony, you can let me in, can’t you? I’ll explain to McGonagall if we get caught!”
“Sirius, just go back to your own room!” Remus said sharply.
“Moons,” he drawled, “just let me in, I promise, it’ll be fine.”
Slowly, the door between them eased open, but neither of them had touched it. Remus turned around to find Lily, with her wand pointed at the door.Â
“I was sick of you two yelling for everyone to hear,” Remus glared at her as she moved towards him.
“It’s time to tell him,” she whispered in his ear, heading to the kitchen.
“You trying to steal my lover, Evans?” Sirius growled, stepping into the dorm.
“Of course not, Pads, they’re all yours!” She pours herself a mug of tea and retreats to her room.
“Moons!” Sirius grinned at his lover, going in for a kiss.
Remus dodged him, resisting Sirius’ smile, no matter how impossible it was. He had different things to worry about right now, like how to tell his lover, his star, something that could change everything.Â
“You should really be in your own room,” Remus groaned at Sirius, attempting to distract from the matter at hand.
“Oh, it's quite nice to see you too, Moony,” Sirius said sarcastically.
“You know that’s not what I meant, but this is the girls' dorm, and, well, how did you even get up here?”
“You know me, I have my ways, now are we gonna keep bickering, or are you going to kiss me?”Â
“Did you really come here just to kiss me? At 2 am?” Sirius ignored the question, instead taking in Moony’s outfit, trailing his eyes up and down Remus, in an oversized shirt and what Sirius could only assume were boxers.
His heart skipped a beat and then sank. Who’s boxers would Moony be wearing? Why would they be wearing anyone’s boxers? Why wasn’t Moony in Sirius’ boxers?Â
Sirius tried to say anything else, to answer the question, tell Moony why he was actually here, anything but ask about the boxers, but he just couldn’t. Moony was in someone else's boxers, he had to know who’s.Â
“Where’d you get the boxers?” Sirius asked, the anger seeping into his gravelly pitch.
“Don’t remember, I’ve had them for a while,” this is not how Remus had pictured this conversation.
“Has this really been going on for a while?” Sirius practically screamed, air quoting the last part.
“What?” Remus asked, his brows furrowed.Â
“You know exactly what!” Sirius shouted, pacing the room.
“I really don’t!” Moony warned, anxiety building in his chest.
“Just tell me who you’re shagging!” Sirius cracked, lunging towards Remus, towering over him.
“I’m not shagging anyone- I’m really not-” Remus staggered backwards, tears streaming down his face, breath coming in shallow sobs.
“Okay, if you’re not fucking anyone, then who’s boxers are those?”Â
“It’s not what you think!” Remus shouted back, his voice shaking.
“So who is it? One of the Slytherins?” he uttered the last word in disgust.Â
Remus’ thoughts spun, wondering what could make his lover think such a thing.
“No, Sirius, they’re mine!” Moony yelled, seeing Sirius cock his head in confusion, he continued “They’re my boxers! Okay?”
Remus broke down in tears, blubbering. He sank to the floor, his back pressed against the counter.
Lily emerged from her room, sternly eyeing Sirius as she poured a glass of water for Moony.
“You really couldn’t have handled that any better?” she says to Sirius, handing the glass to Remus.
“Well, they’re wearing boxers! What was I supposed to think?”
“You’re supposed to trust the person you’re with and be able to discuss things in a calm manner. And, while sober, preferably.”
“I was calm and slightly sober,” he seemed to take in what he said, “that’s a lie.”Â
“You should go,” Lily said quickly, before glancing at Moony, “that alright with you, love?”
Remus stayed still for a few moments before nodding.
Sirius stalks over to the door before looking back at Remus, sorrow flashes across his eyes, rapidly replaced by unease. He quickly turned around, slamming the door behind him.Â
As soon as Sirius was out the door, Remus sank further into the floor, banging the back of his head on the counter.
“I just thought he’d get it, Lils! I didn’t think he’d accuse me of cheating!” he bawled, pushing his fists into his eyes. “Do I really seem like a cheater? Someone who would shag a Slytherin?”Â
“Of course not, Moon. Now stop hurting yourself and come sit with me.”
Remus makes his way to the couch, tears still clouding his vision, fury shaking his palms.Â
“He doesn’t deserve you,” Lily said quietly, laying a blanket on the two of them.

Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3
Ok, this was something that was in my mind for a while now. While it’s most likely a coincidence, it’s still an interesting thought.
While revisiting Ask Goldie Anything, I noticed a certain parallel between AGA Foxy’s relationship with AGA Goldie and the relationship of Michael Afton and Evan Afton, or C.C. if you prefer.
Michael Afton, at least during his teen years, was associated with Foxy. He’s seen wearing the Foxy mask during the FNAF 4 minigames.
Throughout the minigames, Michael is seen tormating his younger brother so much that Evan took off the head of his own Foxy plush.
In the Survival Logbook, which Michael owned, Foxy is sometimes seen acting like a security guard.
In the Fazbear Frights story A Step Closer, the character Pete, who seems to represent or reflect Michael, was also associated with Foxy who was the main villain in the story.
Evan Afton, or C.C, in turn is associated with Golden Freddy. He’s believed to be one of the souls inhabiting Golden Freddy after his death.
He also had a Fredbear plush when he was alive and the plush is similar to Golden Freddy, such as a purple hat and bowtie.
While Evan was killed due to Fredbear, the animatronic does also almost look like Golden Freddy, to the point that many people believe they are the same animatronics just in different outfits.
In this AU, Duck lives, Sarah lives and Mariana and Gabriel live.Â
Let's imagine that Ben died with his classmates in the forest (along with his teacher and Travis).
That would mean the raid didn't happen and Duck never got bit
After completely running out of food and supplies, Lilly agrees to move on
(In this playthrough, Lee chooses Carly, leaving Doug to die)
(Sorry all you Doug fans, but I'm going with Carly cause I've seen most play throughs where the player saves Carly and personally I would save Carly myself)
After packing up everything, they all get in the van and leave the motel
Clementine and Duck talk about cartoons as the rest of them sits in silence
Tension continues to grow as Kenny continues to drive
Lilly and Carly argue (Lilly is growing paranoid that someone is stealing)
Kenny hits the walker and they all get out of the van to settle this argument
They all argue and Carly tears into Lilly
Carly is shot dead on the side of the road shocking everyone
Kenny tells Katjaa to keep Duck away from the windows but Clementine and Duck saw everything already
Lee leaves Lilly on the side of the road and they all get back in the van
Kenny calls Lee up to the front where he finds out Katjaa is bitten
(I don't really know what would happen if Katjaa lived instead of Duck)
(Alot of the Duck lives aus I've read kill of Katjaa, but they don't explain how she was killed off and when)
Lee sits with Clem on the couch and informs her of Katjaa's predicament.
Lee has the dream, fearing if Clementine was in the same situation as Katjaa
Lee wakes up and Kenny announces there's a derailed train in their way. They all get out to sit on some logs near the train. Kenny asks Lee if he can find some water for Katjaa as Duck sits with her quietly.
Lee takes care of the dead walker in one of the compartments and finds a bottle of water and a map. He also finds some tools. Lee presses a blinking light hesitanting.
He goes outside and gives Katjaa the water before figuring out how to start the train.
Lee soon meets Chuck who gives both Clem and Duck candy
Everyone gets on the train and begin to leave
Katjaa, whose becoming weaker and weaker every second, tells Lee to stop the train after a couple of hours on the train.
After convincing Kenny to stop the train, everyone gets off.
Kenny tries to tell Duck to stay, but being as stubborn, Duck becomes angry and tells his dad off
Hesitantly, they all walk into the woods. They reach a certain part and Kenny gently places Katjaa against a tree. Lee watches as they all say their final goodbyes. Kenny aims the gun towards Katjaa and Duck looks away, not bearing to see the sight of his mother being shot by his own father.
Kenny is too scared to pull the trigger and Lee offers to do it. Kenny and Duck cry together as Lee puts Katjaa to rest. They then begin going back to the train.
Chuck then gives Lee advice which Lee follows, giving Clem and a hair cut and teaching Clem to the shoot.
(In the game, Ben would come forward after Lee gives Clem a haircut)
The train comes to a stop shocking everyone. They all get out as Kenny screams at the hanging truck.
They meet Omid and Christa on top of the bridge
Duck stays with his dad as Clem and Lee go to the train station where they work to together to kill some walkers and find a blowtorch
Omid and Lee cut the tanker down, Chuck notices the massive herd coming towards them.
Omid not wanting to jump, Lee pushes him off and jumps off with him. Omid hurts his leg and helps Christa and Omid on the train
They escape the herd and Lee finds out someone has been talking to a man on her radio
The arrive at Savannah and the bell rings, Lee sees a figure on the church roof. The radio turns on and the man speaks to them. Christa gives Lee a nasty look after they find out the radio works.
A large herd appears forcing the group to move from the streets.
(Instead of Ben running away from Clem, Chuck is already there to save Clem from the walkers)
They reach a manor and Lee tries to find a way inside
Lee notices a dog flap which requires a chip, Lee digs up the dead dog for its collar which saddens Duck.
Clementine takes the dog collar from Lee before crawling inside, Lee praises Clem after.
Lee finds Kenny up in the attic seeing the boy like Duck, Kenny says he wouldn't know what to do if Duck turned into a walker
After burying the boy he sees someone watching.
Kenny and Lee go to the docks and meet Molly, where they discover Clem has followed them
Lee escapes through the sewers and discovers that Chuck killed himself and the walkers have devoured him
Lee finds a propped up sign to find an entrance to an underground bunker. Lee manages to calm down the group.
Vernon and Lee return to the manor with Vernon seeing Kenny drunk off his skunk and Christa tells him how Omid is getting worse by the minute
Lee then goes outside to find Clem then hears banging from the shed, Clem bursts out of the door knocking Lee over.
They see the boat and Kenny says they need gas and a battery
They all agree to leave Crawford and find the truth
Kenny goes to find gas as Vernon and Christa attempt to open the medical room as Brie stays with Clementine and Duck
Lee heads out to find the battery and meets up with Molly and they are able to get a batery
After watching the videos they confront Molly and she tells the truth
Since Ben is not alive, the hatchet stays in the door, but their are so many walkers they manage to break through anyway
Brie holds the door as Kenny tries to break through the armoury door (Ben isn't there which means they don't fight)
Brie is killed by the walkers forcing the group into the armoury
They run up the stairs to the bell tower and Lee kills the walkers slowly making his way up.
Lee climbs out of the window and they make their way back to the manor where Omid wakes up
After arguing with Vernon, Lee says goodbye to Molly and heads up to the study
After Clementine cries about not finding her parents, Lee leaves
The next day Lee can't find Clem and asks Duck who says she went outside earlier and continues to talk to Christa and Omid
Lee goes outside where he finds her hat and her walkie
When he grabbed her walkie, a walker reached out and bit him, Lee kills it and reaches for her hat, only to see the bite mark.
They all run out hearing Lee shout, he shows the bite mark and he decides it's more important to find Clementine, Lee thinks it's Vernon who took her
They all leave, Duck stays close to Kenny as he's told
They enter the sewer system
The stranger tells Lee that Clem is fine, saying that he isn't Vernon and to choose his words carefully, he tells Lee she's safer with him, they have a city of walkers between them, Lee figures out he has to be in the city
Duck talks to Omid as Lee searches the morgue to find a way out
He finds some tools in a closet before he passes out
Lee wakes up to find Kenny about to chop his arm off, Lee agrees, Lee faints again and wakes up with his stump bandaged
Walkers begin breaking in and Lee finishes opening the elevator shaft and the group hurries in
After climbing the ladder to the roof, they figure out a way to the mansion
Kenny tells Duck to not look at all the walkers through the streets
Duck glances at them quickly before looking up at his dad nodding
Lee uses the ladder to go to the bell tower and rings it, managing to jump from the tower to the roof
Duck tells him he's awesome as the rest congratulate him
They climb down teh fire and escape to the street to reach the manor
Duck sits silently as Omid opens the shed to find the boat missing and a note from Vernon
Kenny shouts in rage, leading walkers to froce them into the manor
The group run upstairs, Kenny shouting at Duck to go upstairs
They are then pushed up to the attic
As Lee figures out the wall is rotten as Kenny shows Duck how to shoot at random things in the attic
Omid breaks through the wall and find a couple who killed themselves
Duck stares sadly at them before Kenny makes him look away
They all get to the marsh house from the balcony, Christa is the last to jump but the balcony collapses. She manages to grab a pipe on her way down and holds on tightly
Kenny and Lee goes down to save her, Christa gets to the ground safely with the help of Kenny and Lee
Walkers corner them and Kenny closes the gate where Christa and Lee ran.
Kenny tells Lee to look after Duck before he shoots at the walkers
They climb back up and tell Omid and Duck their dead
Duck breaks down and Omid and Christa comfort him
After a few minutes, Duck becomes silent and seems calmer
He looked down at the herd before saying one last goodbye to his dad before they left
Lee tells Duck he's strong as they continue along the rooftops
Duck nods silently
Lee leaves the three and makes it to the Marsh house
Lee is then held at gunpoint by the stranger
They talk about all the choices Lee has made since the drugstore, not saving Doug, taking Clem to the farm, killing Larry, leaving Lilly on the side of the road and stealing from his family
Clem breaks out and Lee and the stranger fight, Clem kills the stranger and they escape cutting the walker open and covering Clem with blood and guts
Clem takes her hat back and sees her parents, Lee faints and drags Lee to a jewellery store for safety
Lee tells her he's not gonna make it and tells Clem a final lesson (If I played I would choose keep your hair short, because it's smart but it's also really sweet)
Clementine says one last goodbye to Lee and shoots him, not wanting him to become a walker
She leaves the store and walks through Savannah to the area near the train
She meets up with Omid, Christa and Duck who managed to make it out of Savannah and were looking for her
