Since I feel bad about the Nagito and Kokichi frenimies fic being so short, I’ll post a piece that I wrote from an old rp with a friend.
Basically it is a lot of the characters from all games (including Ultra Despair Girls) and in this piece they are being transported from one school to somewhere else. Coincidentally, Nagito and Kokichi did NOT get along at all in the RP but they both helped the MC/Reader figure things out for the trials.
Please beware that this fic mentions Blood, Scars and Kidnapping, along with the other possibly triggering topics from Danganronpa.
I hope you enjoy :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You woke up to see the inside of a small bus. Nagito was leaning against the window in the seat to the right of you, across the aisle, watching the surroundings. An unconscious Kokichi was in the seat right next to you on the left. There were bars separating the Monokuma driver and you three; the type you'd see in a cop car. Nagito wasn't wearing his jacket as usual, and you quickly noticed it was placed over your shoulders with your arms out of the sleeves. He didn't seem to be cold, but it was pretty chilly so you felt bad that he let you wear it instead of him. It was dark and rainy outside; definitely not the weather to go without a coat.
You figured that Nagito had probably been awake for a while, seeing as he was calm about the situation; acting as if this was just a normal drive somewhere. He almost looked like he was bored. He had his arm on the bottom of the window and was leaning his head against it. You don’t remember getting onto a bus. The last thing you remember was standing in the hallway of the 5th floor of Hope's Peak Academy. ‘They must have knocked us out’, you figured.
You looked up through the front window to see another bus in front, similar to the one you were in right now. Looking behind you through the back window, you saw a few more buses trailing behind. ‘Maybe they’re be relocating us for some reason, though why they decided to split us up, I'm not sure.’
When you turned to look through the back window, you felt a sharp pain in your stomach. You dismissed it as hunger pangs, as you knew you hadn't eaten much today.
You placed your arms over your stomach and it seemed to help it feel a little better. At that point, Nagito noticed you were awake, but didn't say anything. You decided to break the monotonous silence, aside from the rain pattering and the engine rumbling through the bus.
"Thanks.. For the jacket, I mean." You said.
He picked his head up and turned to you.
"Of course. I assumed you would be cold, and someone like you should be warmer than someone filthy like me." He smiled a little, as if he hadn't just insulted himself. It's almost as if he didn't realize he was being self-deprecating.
Deciding to ignore the last remark, you just shook your head and continued.
"If you get cold let me know, though, so I can return it to you, okay?"
"...Alright." It seemed like he wanted to decline, but decided against it. He just put his arm back on the side and leaned against it again.
You looked out the window and watched the road stretch on. Aside from the other buses, there were no cars on the road. You wondered why they left the windows uncovered. ‘You'd think they would cover them or even keep us knocked out long enough to get to wherever we were going.’
After who-knows-how-long, Kokichi started rustling. He sat up groggily and looked around confused, as you had done not long ago. After waking up more and taking in his surroundings he turned to look at the two of you.
"Why are you wearing his jacket? Are you two dating now or something?" He said, looking disgusted; however he was obviously joking.
"Well good morning, sunshine. Why were your legs on my shins? Does that make us a couple?" You shot back, also joking.
He looked a little shocked, but still chuckled and quickly moved his legs.
"Soo... Where are we?" He said, looking out the window, though there was nothing that could be used to your advantage to figure out where you were.
"Your guess is as good as mine. Nagito's been awake the longest, since I woke up not long before you did." You shrugged and turned to Nagito.
After hearing his name, Nagito turned to face you and nodded,
"That's true, but I haven't seen a single sign or building since waking up. So we still have nothing." He sighed and slouched.
You could tell he didn't want to say anything if he didn't need to. Seeing as they both disliked each other, he probably didn't want to aggravate Kokichi or end up upsetting himself.
Kokichi huffed and went to cross his arms but winced and put his left arm back down. "Ow.." He muttered
"What’s the matter?" You asked.
Even Nagito was focused on the situation. You both waited as you watched Kokichi try to shake off the pain.
"That really hurt. It felt like I've been stabbed in my arm." He was looking at his arm in the sleeve as much as he could without moving it around.
"You might need to pull up your sleeve. There might be something underneath." You said sitting forward a little.
"Yeah but.. It's near my shoulder at the back, so even if I could pull up my sleeve that high- which I don't think I can- I won't be able to check it." Kokichi said, slouching a little at the realization that he'd need one of you to check it for him. "I'm sure I'm fine though." He said, but that was clearly a lie.
"That obviously hurt. I can check it for you." You sat up further and started leaning towards him, putting your hand closer to his arm to take a look.
He slapped your hand away with his uninjured hand.
"No. You don't need to take my shirt off for me. I’m fine." He said, turning away from you, and he seemed to be in a sour mood. He leaned up against the window, probably to use the cold window like an ice-pack, though he looked pained when his arm came in contact with the glass.
"Well I'll gladly switch places with Nagito so he can check for you, if you’d prefer that." You sat back the way you were a minute ago.
Your stomach stung from moving, but you didn't want to worry them with that fact, and you hadn't noticed it as much because were worried about Kokichi's arm.
Nagito sighed.
"Sorry, but I don't think I'll be able to swap places with you." He gestured to his legs, "It seems like they’ve sliced my legs. Right above the knee. I hadn't noticed any blood- if there was any- because of how dark my pants are but when I went to put my jacket on you, I couldn't properly stand to do so. I didn't mention it because I assumed my luck made me get hurt while we were unconscious. That doesn't seem to be the case, however..." He continued.
"So, do you think they harmed us all so we wouldn't, or rather, couldn't fight back?" You said. No wonder your stomach hurt, it was probably caused by whoever's working with Monokuma.
"Well, that makes sense. But you don't seem to be in pain. So you could still do something, right?" Kokichi said to you, now holding his, assumed, injury with his right hand.
"..." You paused before answering. You weren’t totally sure if your stomach was damaged in some way, or if it was just hurting, but you didn’t feel comfortable pulling up your shirt to check right now.
"From what I saw when you first woke up, when you went to turn around to look out the window, you winced in pain as well. And since you had your arms over your stomach for a while, I'm assuming that's where they hurt you too? If that is the case, anyway." Nagito piped in. You didn't realize he saw that, but it seems he's a lot more observant than you’d thought.
"Yeah, that sounds about right. But I don't know if that's from hunger or if that's from the Monokumas." You said.
"So why don't you check? It's somewhere that you could check easily, so you won't need help." Kokichi said, clearly getting annoyed.
"Yeah, but I can't just go pulling my shirt up to check. It’s just uncomfortable to do that right now.." You said, slouching a little.
Kokichi sighed, shook his head slightly, turned more towards the window, and kept his gaze outside. You could tell he was irritated, not because he had to look away, but probably because of the situation you were in.
Nagito also turned his body towards the window, leaned his arm against it and rested his head in his hand. He even went the extra mile to close his eyes, though you weren't sure if that’s out of respect for the situation, or if he was just tired.
You took your left hand and held both sides of Nagito’s jacket closed in front of you as extra covering, and lifted your shirt underneath. As you’d expected, you had a clean slice on your stomach. Though for some reason it wasn’t bleeding, nor did it look all that fresh. It looked more like you’d been cut a few days prior and it was just starting to heal. You were upset about the fact that they went out of their way to hurt the three of you, but at the same time, it intrigued you as to how it could look so healed when you couldn’t have been asleep for more than a few hours.
You lowered your shirt and let go of Nagito’s jacket.
Kokichi hadn’t, and couldn’t, check his wound and Nagito probably couldn’t check his either, which was why you’d assumed the reason you hadn’t seen blood was because Nagito and you both wore dark clothes near the wounds and from the angle of Kokichi’s wound, you figured you wouldn’t have been able to see blood even if there was any.
Even though you had finished checking, the boys stayed looking out the window in silence. You were sure that you reaction, or lack thereof, proved the theory true, giving them no reason to ask whether or not you were right.
You thought about also sitting in silence, but the fact that there was no blood on your stomach at all was something that should probably be mentioned, especially since you needed to work together. You leaned forward.
“Hey! How long were we asleep for?” You yelled to the Monokuma driver, though there was no response. You hadn’t really expected for there to be one.
The boys both turned and looked at you; Kokichi, again, looked confused and irritated. Nagito just looked tired.
“There, uh.. Wasn’t any blood. I just thought it was odd, if we were only asleep for a few hours, there’d be blood, right? At least dried blood, right? It was completely clean, and didn’t look that fresh..” You said, sitting back again.
Kokichi just looked more stunned but Nagito seemed to be thinking about the implications of what you’d just said.
“Are you saying that we’ve been asleep for longer than a day, at least..?”
“Seems like it..” You said, sighing.
Nagito just shook his head at the thought. He wasn’t disagreeing with you; it was more of a disappointment in the thought of the Monokumas and their actions.
i don’t know if you’re still doing the yandere prompts but i’d love to see quote 35 with hawks!
Pairing: Hawks x Reader Quote: I never want to hurt you, Darling. You’re my sunshine. You just misbehave so much, I’m forced to. Warnings: predator/prey, kidnapping, mutilation, mild gore and blood, Stockholm, yandere Note: This is pretty dark, so mind the warnings.
~~~~
Your breath comes out in panting gasps as you run through the streets, away from the pro hero known as Hawks. You used to look up to him as the perfect example of what a pro hero should be, until he snatched you from the streets. You don’t even know how long he’s had you, but you know it must be a long time.
You can feel your sanity slipping more and more each day, the siren call of just giving up and letting Hawks do what he wants getting more and more powerful. You knew you had to do something drastic before you completely lost yourself.
So when you saw a small opening in his defenses, an unlocked window, you decided to take it. You climbed out the window, went down the fire escape, and started running. You haven’t looked back since, and you’ve seen no sign of Hawks. You desperately hope you have the time to get far away before he realizes you're gone.
But that hope is dashed as you hear the sound that causes your blood to run cold. The sound of wings, flapping overhead. You increase your speed, knowing that it’s futile, but too stubborn not to try. But something instantly collides against you from above, causing you to be thrown to the pavement.
You lift yourself up enough to glance behind you and see Hawks, looking at you with cold fury. The normally happy go lucky hero has let his true side peek out, the darkness showing in his eyes.
“Where do you think you’re going, little bird,” he coos at you as he begins to slowly walk towards you. “Flying out of your cage the second you saw the opportunity. I am disappointed in you.”
“Please Hawks,” you begin to try and reason with him before you’re abruptly cut off.
“You know what you’re supposed to call me, don’t you?” His tone turns dangerous, his expression calculating.
“Keigo, please don’t hurt me,” you whimper, a tear sliding down your face.
“I never want to hurt you, Darling. You’re my sunshine. You just misbehave so much, I’m forced to,” he sighs and shakes his head, his expression pained.
You start to try and crawl away, only to be grabbed by your ankle and forcibly dragged back to Hawks. He shoves you back down on the pavement as his hand goes behind him to grab something.
Your expression is confused as you see him pull out a feather, but you quickly realize what he intends to do as he rolls your pants leg up and presses the feather against your skin.
Before you have time to even make a noise of protest, he slices through the back of your right ankle. You scream as you hear a snap and white hot agony flares outwards from the area. Your Achilles tendon, your mind finally supplies, he cut your Achilles tendon.
The pain drifts away to a dull throbbing as Hawks holds your foot still, watching the blood drip down onto the pavement from a hideous looking wound, and you glance up to see him smiling at you. “I told you that you’re my sunshine,” he says softly, reaching out to cup your face. “I could have severed it all the way through, but I didn’t.”
His hand trails down your face to wrap gently around your neck, squeezing lightly before running his fingers over the soft skin there. “If I had severed it, you might never have recovered. And now, I get to take care of you for a while.” He gives you a soft smile. “You’ll let me, won’t you little bird?”
Maybe he really isn’t so bad, you think. This could have been so much worse. He could have crippled that leg for good, could have cut parts of you off like it was nothing. But he only did something that would heal eventually, and he’s going to take care of you too.
“Of course I’ll let you, Keigo.” You finally smile at him.
His face turns radiant, the smile making his eyes shine with happiness, and you find yourself glad that you put that look on his face.
“And you love me, don’t you little bird?” He pulls you in for a heated kiss, before drawing back just enough to look into your eyes as he waits for your answer.
“Of course I love you, Keigo,” you whisper quietly.
He stands up and gently picks you up, bridal carry style. “Then let’s get you home.”

-The Hand That Feeds By The Crane Wives
TWs: Corporate Greed, Kidnapping, Human Experimentation, Torture, Violence, Blood, starvation
Danny was running away, it was getting to dangerous in Amity for him to stay. There were new rogues every other day getting more and more powerful as they popped up. The GIW had gotten even more competent in their weapons making, but not in their situational awareness. Just the last week, he had gotten shot at least seven times keeping civilians safe.
For the safety of everyone in Amity, it was bet for him to leave.
For good.
So he packed a bag, made sure there were no current loose ghost, made sure no one was inside Fenton Works, and then promptly blew up the portal with a modified ghost shield to keep the damage to a minimum. Unlike others, he was well aware of where people were and how the could be killed.
So now that everyone thought him dead, he ran. To where? He didn't know. But he needed a pit stop somewhere to get some food. Danny landed on the roof of a building reaching for a map he had stored somewhere in his bag. Shuffling things around he couldn't seem to find it.
"Damn, must've dropped it," Danny muttered. Turning, he only got a second to look at the blur coming for him, but then Danny only knew darkness.
---------------
Danny runs away when theres more and more causalities in Amity. He blew up Fenton Works while inside to make it seem like he died, and to those that did know about Phantom, dead dead.
He makes pit stops, and at one point accidentally cuts himself as Phantom and leaves not knowing there was ecto left behind.
A scientist about to get fired from some big corp trying to get green/clean energy stumbles upon it, and thinks its his big break.
Soon he had the entire company board on board with his idea, no matter that it could be breaking meta laws and could get them all life in prison.
The hunt for the unsuspecting meta, one Danny Phantom, was on.
And then when the bounty hunters, somehow getting their hands on ecto weapons (Maybe the GIW donated them? Maybe they had commissioned them from the Fentons? who knows) get a ping of his location? They sent their best hunter and got poor Danny.
Danny soon wakes up and realizes that "Oh no, where am I?!"
He soon learns that is the least of his worries.
Danny is then tortured, and the people soon realize he has a human side, so they quickly modify the ghost chains to make sure he stays a ghost.
He then Bites a guard and is then muzzled.
The Big Corp soon starts draining him of his ecto while trying to figure out how his body produces it
After all, he who controls the supply controls the market
So while Danny can't turn back into a human, in a low ecto rich environment, and constantly being drained of what fuels his ghostly body, he begins to feel the effects of starvation, because "Ghost are dead, they don't need human shit." and quote.
Well Danny was a special lil halfa and needed food in order to fucking survive
Soon, his hazmat suit starts to become baggy, not fitting anymore and it slowly progress until his eyes start to become clear, becoming the pure ecto green of his flesh in blindness, his bodies way of trying to conserve enough energy until he can get out.
The scientist, seeing the green eyes immediately rip one out, wanting to see if his eyes had a more concentrated ecto that they could use. They quickly learn, no, its clear and has little to no ecto.
Danny's voice has stopped working a long time ago at this point.
The Bats then notice a once failing Clean energy company suddenly thrive.
They investigate and are disturbed to realize that they are using a purified Lazarus water as the main fuel.
They then hunt down the source building and sneak into it, trying to find the source
Bruce is then distracted, going down a heavily guarded hallway unnoticed.
He opens what could only be a vault door, then peering through a black netting with a green sheen, he see's Danny.
What happens after that? Idk but if someone wants to pick up they can :D

TW's: Major character death(s), faked deaths, suicide, mentions of suicide, heavy angst (with some comfort), Violence, Kidnapping
Batman had been off world for almost two months now. He, along with the Lanterns, had gone to aid in gaining Earth a new political alley if they were ever to be attacked by something the Leagues couldn't handle.
Safe to say, Batman was ready to go home and have a makeup family dinner. The mission had gone on longer then any of them could have predicted, and so he had to miss the last dinner they had. Bruce was actually quite sad about that, he loved when all of his family was in one room even if he never vocalized it.
So after finally docking the JL's space craft, Bruce and co. quickly scrambled out of the ship, ready to fill out the necessary forms and get to their respective families and friends. Immediately though Bruce could tell something was off.
The landing, which at least would have someone there to greet them, was empty.
Hackles raised, Batman quickly signaled to the Lanterns with him that something was wrong. When he didn't hear at least some shuffling from them, he turned to the unusually silent men. They were all looking at their respective coms. Some had wide eyes, others mouths were hanging. They looked shocked, scared, even. Batman did not like that.
At all.
"What are you all looking at?" the demand rang out, causing the group to flinch as if they expected a demon to bust down the door and shred them to pieces. With glances, they collectively shoved Hal out as if choosing a sacrificial lamb for a wolves dinner. Batman narrowed his eyes in discomfort.
Hal said nothing, just slowly approached the kevlar clad man. Holding out his coms screen, Batman finally got a look at what they were all horrified of.
Deftly, Batman stared down at the message.
He felt numb.
So numb.
And then.
Rage at not immediately being told.
Rage at not immediately being pulled from the mission.
Rage at the entirety of the Justice League for having a funeral without even telling him.
Rage at not being there to protect his family from what had killed them.
And then, it clicked! It must be an elaborate, very, very, misguided prank. After all, Superman wouldn't let his family die! He'd hear the struggle, the fading heart beats, the screams for help.
HE'D HEAR THOSE!
Wonder Woman would have helped them as well! She had been given one of the few bat distress signals! They'd have pressed the button and she would've come running!
SHE SHOULD'VE COME RUNNING!
The League would have noticed!
THEY WOULD HAVE NOTICED!
So obviously it was a prank! A stupid, horrible attempt at getting him to cut back on work! That was it!
And with those thoughts, Bruce went sprinting down to the Zeta Tubes and teleported to the Justice Hall.
When he finally got there, it was decked out in black. Silly them, it seems as if he needed to go over what the Leagues bank cards should be used for again!
Silly, silly, silly.
Bursting through doors, he finally found the main hall.
With the entirety of the Justice League. Dark, Young Justice, the Titians, everyone.
And would you look at that! They were all wearing black! Silly them! Didn't they know that all black was meant for the Bats?
Scanning the room filled with people, with heroes, he didn't see his children or not children or even his father. Not a single one. Whipping around, he came face to face with 9 caskets.
9 photos.
9 pieces of his family.
Suddenly, Batman felt a heavy but gentle hand land on his shoulder. He would develop whiplash if he kept this up. The hand was connected to a Superman. To Clark. To a sad Clark. A guilty looking Clark.
Why was he looking guilty?
"B, I'm so sorry." Salty tears flitted down the man of steel's face.
But Bruce didn't care.
Because all too soon, he realized, it wasn't a prank.
It was real.
And he couldn't handle it anymore. He couldn't handle it at all.
Quicker then anyone there thought he was capable of, he whipped out that small piece of Kryptonite and decked Superman. It was an all out brawl between him and the Leaguers after that. And he wasn't the one loosing.
So he decided, 'Fuck it, fuck it all,' and left the Leaguers with bruises and new scars when the younger Leaguers asked him to stop.
He then Zeta Tubed his way to the Bat Cave. To the smoke filled, ashy rooms.
Everything was offline, everything was silent, everything was dead.
Climbing up the elevator shaft, he reached what should have been the manor. Instead it was a desolate waste land of ashes, burned wood, and silence. Well, almost desolate.
A single safe stood out in the wreckage. And in quick order, wielding something that he never thought he would, Bruce joined his children.
---------------------
"Fuck! FUCK!" Superman shouted at the new funeral. One that wasn't ever meant to supposed to happen. But was a funeral ever meant to happen, ever expected? The man stared the rare photo of a smiling Batman. Of an alive Batman. Of an alive Bruce.
Tears ran hot down his face like molten lava, even as he heard the rest of the Leaguers joining him in his sorrow. He had went and tried to find Bruce after being knocked out, and only found his cooling corpse instead.
Supermans thoughts were interrupted when a bang, not all to unfamiliar, sounded out. Whipping his head up, he thought he was hallucinating. Because standing there were 9 dead people.
9 people who should have been dead.
"YO, where's B? We gotta debrief him on what happened-" Nightwings rambling got cut off as he looked just beyond Clark.
The others soon looked, and then the screams started.
"WHAT! NO! WHERE IS HE?"
"B, THIS ISN'T FUCKING FUNNY!"
"YOU UTTER BITCHES, YOU THINK THIS SHIT'S FUNNY?"
"DAD?! WHERE ARE YOU?!"
The wails of anguish filled the hall as the Leaguers surrounded them, trying their best to comfort the Bats as much as they can.
"What happened? Where were all of you?" Wonder Womans voice rang out above the quiet mummers and piercing wails. Alfred took it upon himself to explain, even if the wobbling voice hurt those surrounding him to hear.
"We were kidnapped by a rogue organization that figured out our identities. They were after Batman originally, but decided that the best way to get revenge was to torture all of us. They created clones, proceeded to slowly kidnap us one by one, until they eventually burned down the mansion with the husks inside."
And didn't that just make it so much more painful?
---------------------
He was floating.
He didn't know where he was.
He just was.
But he felt wrong.
He needed to do something.
Something to protect.
Not something, someone.
Multiple someones.
He needed to protect those dear to him.
He needed to protect his family.
His family.
Where was his family?
---------------------
With a sudden sharpness, a shadowy mass with flashes of grey skin opened its eyes. The eyes of the creature were pure white, and as it rose it's head, two horns became visible. It looked at where it woke up, surrounded in a cave system that pulsed with different colors, but blues being the most prominent.
Slowly, it got its bearings back to itself.
He knew he was dead.
But he also knew with a pulse of something, that his family wasn't.
And just like that, he was at two ornate doors, as big as the old manors door. He grabbed one handle with a clawed hand, pulling the surprisingly light door open. A vortex of green met his eyes.
All around was green.
He needed to fly.
He knew it should be impossible for him, but he didn't care, he needed to find his family.
To protect his family.
So with a flap of massive bat wings, he was off, looking for something.
That something turned out to be a giant, glowing, gothic castle. He quickly landed, hurdling through giant doors.
Soon enough, he met the one he knew would help. One that felt similar to him.
"̸̮͔̗̀̾̈́̕H̶̯̩̫̬͗̅̒̃͜ë̶̼́̆̿̿̒l̴̢̫͓̱̜̎p̷̻̩̻͇̯̞͌̅́̕ ̶͖̯͔̟̀̋̆͘m̶͉̹̳̯͑e̸̲̾ ̷͙̥̫̦̙̕f̶̡͎͈̾̾͋̓̐̀i̸̞̻͍̎̾͊n̷̰̻̮͓̤̆̄̾͒̅ͅd̷̢̦̩̓ ̴̞̼͈̦͕͛͊̚ṭ̵͖̂̂͗̔̾h̸̡͍̖̣̻͚̓͒̾͝ḙ̶̮́͛̇̎͘̚m̸̛̱̎̋̐̔͠,̷̧̰͕̤̬̝̑̚͝ ̴̹̃p̶̢̥͙̈́ͅļ̵͙̜̫͍̊̋̉̓ͅé̵͙͔̟̇ă̷̺͈̏̓͝s̵̙͖̣͔̔̊͆̍͘ȅ̵͇̍͒̚͝.̴̢̰̗͍̮̳̀̌̕ ̴̳͉̩̬̿̊̃͘Î̴͉̺̰̯̫̊̅͘ ̷̻͉͙̈́͛̍̀n̵͕̯̖̤͉̹̔͐̅̃̓̕e̷̡͉͕̖̅͆̊ē̷͇̊d̵̢̥̜̹̮͑͌͌͆͝ͅ ̶͕̫̿̈́̈́͝͠ẗ̵̪́̊ó̷̝̜̀̀͊͝ ̶̨͇͓͖̞̄ͅṕ̴̨̬̗͚̤́̔ŕ̷͚̐̊͆́̒ơ̵̰̜̭͙͒͑̒͐t̷͕̖͖̝̥̙̾́̕͝e̸̡̞͎͉͈͒͋̎͛c̴͉̘̔t̶̢͚̖̮͈̟͒̅ ̵̞̯̘̮̤̄͊͑̔t̵̡̪̭̜̟̕h̷̟̀e̷̟͊͜m̸̳̒͑̀́.̸̨̮͈͈̺̺̌̓̎̊̏̃"̵̺͚̰̹̗̃
And the Ancient made of cosmos, with flowing white hair, never ending green eyes, crowned with stars, ice and aurora's, agreed.
---------------------
They were being beat by that same damned organization that cost them their colleague, their mentor, their friend, their father.
And they were all loosing.
Everyone was preoccupied with something, whether it was Kryptonite suits, incoming hoards of androids, or rogue powers spilling out. Flashes, bangs, and screams from all sides filled the air.
It was looking like the Leaguers were going to die.
The Bats, who should still be benched due to the traumatic and catastrophic events done by them, were not holding back. Blood was being spilt by all of them. The no killing rule was shot with a single bullet to the head.
So they didn't hold back, not at all.
But it still wasn't enough.
And they were loosing.
They were bleeding.
They were going to die.
And then the sky opened up, a massive vortex made up of glowing greens filled the sky. It reminded those who knew of them, of the Lazarus pits. But the fighting didn't stop. Oh no.
It only stopped when they came through.
A massive, humanoid being made of swirling galaxies with an infinite number of glowing green eyes and what could be considered a halo of floating white hair. Atop its head was a crown of equal proportion made of icy rods with stars twinkling weaved through an aurora pulsing around it all. It was terrifyingly beautiful.
And then, another one came out. This one was different, but oh so familiar looking.
It was as if a living shadow took shape, sucking in all of the light. It had two horns that stabbed through the air, with clawed hands and feet resembling the many gargoyles around Gotham. It's massive wings were pulled back, allowing for what little color, yellows, to peak through. It had a long, slender, spiked tail ending in a sharp looking diamond. Its hair, or what would have been hair, looked like it was slowly melting off, sliding onto what little grey flesh could be seen. It eyes were a pure, glowing white, and only when it opened its mouth, that too many fangs, not teeth, could be seen.
It was terrifying.
It was comforting.
And suddenly, shadowy ice spikes rose from the ground, impaling the ones trying to end the Leaguers.
The Bats.
After that, it was soon known that the Big Bad Bat was back.
And he was different.

When I get to my apartment I immediately go around my room, trying to quickly pack anything I might need into a bag. My plan was to wait him out in Violet’s apartment, she almost always just stayed home and gamed all Sunday, so I would let her know about my situation and ask if I could stay for a bit. I was sure she would oblige; she was always so kind to me, and never was very fond of Ren.
So I finish gathering my essential belongings and a container of cookies I had stress baked before leaving on Friday. I power off my phone, ignoring the multitude of messages from Ren, and open my door to knock on Violet’s.
Only to run into a cardigan-clad chest. I look up to see Ren with a friendly smile on his face, “Oh, hey Angel! I was going to surprise you! Here!”
He holds out a bouquet of pink roses to me, which I just stare at blankly. How had he intercepted me just as I was leaving? How did he know I had even gotten back home? Why was he wearing a backpack?
He tilts his head, “What’s wrong, Angel? Why do you have a bag with you, where were you going?”
I forcibly pull myself together, and give him a smile, accepting the flowers, “Oh thank you, Ren, these are lovely! I was just headed to your place actually, I was going to surprise you. Good timing, I suppose, would’ve been awkward if we were both at the other apartment, huh?”
This seems to make him happy as he giggles, “Yeah, that worked out well, didn’t it? Luckily you don’t have to walk now, I don’t want you straining your stitches!”
I laugh, “Haha, yeah, I guess I hadn’t considered that. Actually, hold that thought, I was gonna visit Violet to give her these cookies really quickly. I owe her one, so would you mind waiting here while I go inside?”
He holds my arm, stopping me from knocking on her door, “Do you really have to do that right now, Angel? I can deliver them to her later, she probably isn’t even home right now. Why do you owe her anyway?”
I tug my arm free, breathing a silent sigh of relief when he lets me, “Oh, don’t worry, Ren, I’ll only be a minute. She never leaves the house on Sundays.”
But he grabs my arm again, pulling me back, “Please, Angel, can we just go home now? You always take forever to talk to her.”
This time, when try I pull my arm back, he doesn’t let go. I do my best to keep my breathing even, knowing that this was my best chance to escape, but also knowing that he could easily overpower me any time he chose. I look at him with a confused expression, “What’s wrong? I won’t take long, I promise.”
He gently tugs me away from her door, “C’mon Angel, let’s just go, please? I’ve been so worried about you, I just want to make sure you’re okay.”
I hold my ground, “I told you, I’m fine. I’m on painkillers, I’ve been on bedrest for two days. I just need to talk to Violet for a second.”
“But why do you need to talk to her? I thought you were just going to drop off the cookies, can’t that wait? You keep avoiding me and I don’t know why!”
Panicking, I decide to finally make a move while I’m in semi-public at least, “I’m sorry! I want to break up with you!”
Ren’s face falls and it looks like I just punched him in the gut, “Wha- but I- Angel, how could you? You said I didn’t do anything wrong, why did y’lie to me? How can I fix it if you don’t tell me? Please, Angel, don’t do this, we can talk it out, just- just tell me please!” He gently guides me back into my apartment and this time I don’t resist.
I try to pull together my mental fortitude. I really did like him a lot, I would have even said love, but I logically knew it was too soon for that. And now this is proving why. I remind myself of what I saw, the cold expression, the blood, the eyes, steeling myself to not be swayed.
I look at him firmly, “Ren, I can’t date you, I’m sorry, you didn’t do anything wrong, it’s me. I just- can’t.”
Ren shakes his head, tears running from his eyes, “No, I had to have done something, I can’t- you can’t- this is so sudden, something had to have happened. Please Angel, just let me make it right.”
I snap, worried at his insistence, “Ren! You can’t. Sometimes that’s just the way things fall. It’s not your fault, I wish you the best, I really do, I just can’t date you anymore.”
He looks hopeful, “So- wait- can we still be friends?”
I hesitate, “I- no, I don’t think that would be wise. You deserve the time and space you need to move on and find somebody else.”
Ren reaches for me, but I quickly step backwards over an arm’s length away. A devastated look crosses his eyes and settles there as he falls to his knees, pleading and gasping through tears, “No, please, I can’t- there’s no one else I want. I don’t want to find anyone, if I can’t have you I’d rather die alone. I’d do anything for you, please, let me prove it to you. I’ll give you everything I have, just say the word, I promise, Angel, please just give me another chance.”
I shake my head and back away slowly, scared and taken aback by his utter desperation. I keep an eye on him while slowly sliding my phone out of my back pocket, hoping to contact someone in case anything happens.
He catches my movements before I can even attempt to make a call and shoots forward, grabbing my wrist and pulling it away from me before taking the phone itself, “Don’t! Who are y’trying t’call? Conan? Violet? Why would you need t’call them?”
His immediate shift from pathetic and crying to sharp and interrogating had me yanking my hand away from him with such force that I stagger into the couch behind me, hitting my injured hip. I hiss and tears fill my eyes, the pain, fear, and betrayal overwhelming me.
Ren rushes to me, pulling me into his arms, “Angel! You’re hurt, you can’t be making sharp movements like that.”
I shake uncontrollably, feeling utterly trapped as I push back against his chest to no avail, “Then let me go!”
He tightens his grip, “You keep running away! I have to show you, I can be everything you’ll ever need, I swear.”
I struggle harder, “I don’t want you too! I don’t even know who you are!”
He freezes, “What do you mean? I’m Ren, your boyfriend.”
I let out a sob, “We both know that’s not true; I saw you! I know it was you that night Ren, you just murdered someone in cold blood! How would I know what else you’re capable of?”
He holds me tighter, “Angel, I don’t know what you’re talking about, but you need to stop struggling, you’re going to hurt yourself.”
I wrench myself away from him, but I can tell I only succeed because he lets me, “No, you need to let me go.”
He looks betrayed, “I already did!”
I shake my head, moving to the other side of the room. He follows me, but at least stays just out of reach. I protest, “No, not just physically, this obsession, it’s not healthy. You need to leave me. Like I said, find somebody else.”
His eyes flash, “Like I said, I don’t want anyone else.”
I snap, “Well you’re going to need to, because I’m not dating someone I don’t know! I’m not staying with a murderer!”
He gestures for me to calm down, which automatically enrages me, but I stay quiet as he speaks, “Angel, you went through something extremely traumatic, I know everything’s muddled right now, but I can help you. I’m not trying to hurt you, I’m not the one who attacked you, I’m just Ren .”
I straighten my stance, no longer cowering, “You’re not the one who attacked me, you’re the one who killed the attacker like it was your average Tuesday night! And you specifically went out of your way to hide it was you, so you can’t just act dumb, it was intentional and planned!”
A thought comes to mind and I speak slowly, not believing it at first, “Did you- did you hire that man? What were you going to do with me? Were you just going to show off, but went too far or were you actually working with him and whatever disgusting plan he had?”
Ren looks disgusted and horrified at the suggestion, “Angel, can you even hear yourself? That’s crazy! Why would I hire someone to hurt you? And if I had, why would I have killed him? That doesn’t make any sense! Your mind is playing tricks on you, trying to make sense of what happened.” His voice softens and he looks at me sympathetically, “Because it shouldn’t have happened, there is no excuse for those men’s behavior, and you never should have been targeted.”
I squint, “What do you mean, ‘men’? There was only one man that targeted me.”
Ren’s face is full of saccharine sorrow as he says, “See Angel, you’re already twisting what happened, there were two men that night, one killed the other, remember? That’s what it said on the news.”
I lower my head, looking at him skeptically, “Yeah, only one of them targeted me. The other seemed concerned for my safety, six foot five with pink hair and a ring on his left ring finger. So who else was ‘targeting’ me? And how do you know about it?”
Ren attempts to put a comforting hand on my shoulder, but I smack his hand away, rather harder than necessary, but he kinda deserved it, “Don’t touch me.”
He raises his hands, “Sorry, I- I just misspoke I guess, I assumed they were both targeting you from the sound of things.”
I huff, “I don’t believe you. And since when could you speak Japanese?”
He throws his hands in the air, “I can’t! See, I don’t even know Japanese, how could I be the killer?”
I look him dead in the eye, “What would Japanese have to do with the killer?”
He sputters, “W- W- What do you mean? You just said-!”
I glare, “I never said the killer spoke Japanese, nor did I tell the ambulance workers or police. Only the people who were there knew.”
I see his eyes widen and a fond smile flit across his face before it’s replaced by confusion again, “But- that’s obviously what you were implying! I don’t have any secret insider knowledge, Angel, I think you’re just paranoid.”
I am immediately brought back to the alleyway, with the drunken man staggering toward me, “I’m not gonna hurt ya, stop being so paranoid.”
I grasp around for any sort of weapon, settling on the fire poker right behind me and leveling it at Ren, “That’s exactly what he said. You know what the next thing he did was?”
Ren backs a step away, “Angel, I’m not going to hurt you, I don’t have a knife.”
I start laughing, tears streaming down my face and no mirth in my voice, “History really does repeat itself, huh?” My voice drops to an emphatic hiss, “I’m not going to let that happen this time.”
Ren backs further away and sits down with his hands open and facing me cursing, “Shit Angel, m’really sorry, I didn’t mean- fuck I keep choosing m’words poorly, I’m sorry, I really am. I- I’m not like the guy that attacked you at all. I swear. You’re…. you’re right, I was the guy that killed him, but I didn’t know what else to do, I had to protect you, you don’t understand!”
I keep the poker directed at him, “I appreciate the truth, but I’d like some more of it. Because what you didn’t have to do was be there, dressed all in black like a creeper and with a whole fucking sledgehammer. That’s the part I don’t understand.”
His eyes dart around as he thinks before speaking, “I was… I followed you, I’m sorry, I didn’t trust Teo to keep track of you and make sure you were safe. You’re not used to bars, someone could have spiked your drink, and they did! There were three of them, clearly used to this routine. One of them distracted you while the other spiked your drink, and the third one waited outside for you. That’s why I was late, I had t’deal with the other guys first, ‘cause they were gonna bring a car around.”
My head spins from this new information, “Wait- what? What do you mean, ‘deal with’? There were three- I was drugged?! No I wasn’t.” I think back to the night but don’t remember any such ill effects.
Ren shakes his head, “No, you weren’t, because I switched your drinks when he wasn’t looking, the fu-, I mean, the guy drugged himself. I just had to make sure the other one couldn’t drive the car.”
I chew on my lip nervously, “And how did you do that?”
He mirrors my action, probably subconsciously, “Th- the point is that I’d never hurt you, Angel. Please believe me.”
I shake my head, “As much as I’d like to believe you Ren, if that’s even your real name, I can’t risk it, there’s too many things about you that don’t add up.”
Ren leans forward earnestly, “Angel-”
I hiss, “Shut up! I’m done listening to you, get out of my house! You said you’d do anything for me, so leave!” I level the poker at him again.
He shakes his head and stands, genuine pain in his voice as he says, “I’m sorry, Angel, that’s the one thing I can’t do. I can’t live without you, not again, not after I finally got you back.”
My hands shake, “Stay away from me!”
Ren only moves closer to me, each step deliberate and calculated, but I can hear the desperation and helplessness in his voice when he responds, “I can’t.”
He’s so close now that the poker is resting on his chest, right above his heart. I try to keep my hand steady, but as my eyes flit between his eyes and his chest, I realize I wouldn’t be able to actually stab him. He seems to realize this too, or maybe he just doesn’t care as he continues to step forward.
My voice shakes, considerably quieter this time, “Stop Ren, or I swear to god I’ll drive this right through your heart.”
That look. That damn look. His eyes are full of adoration as he continues toward me, my hands now pushed back to my own chest, “No, you won’t.”
My eyes fill with tears as he backs me into a corner. When I see blood stain his cardigan, I immediately drop the poker, instead dashing to the side, hoping to make it to my door. But I never even make it close as Ren easily intercepts me, pulling my back flush against his chest as his arms restrain mine.
He murmurs apologies in my ear as he keeps me from moving with just one arm and grabs something from his bag with another. To my horror, he puts a mask over my nose and mouth, the same used to deliver nitrous oxide during surgery. But I’d had laughing gas before, and that was not whatever sweet-smelling gas was flowing through this. I try to question him, fighting twice as hard to free my face, but there was nowhere to go.
I vaguely hear his broken voice as I rapidly lose consciousness, “I’m so sorry Angel, I didn’t want it to be this way. It’s sevoflurane and nitrous oxide, it’s the safest option I could find, I’m sorry. I promise you’ll be okay, I’d never hurt you…”
That's horrifying to watch… I almost threw up when I was downloading that video.
The most painful quotes:
-When the Russians took me, I was sent to a technical school where I was subjected to daily false stories about Ukrainians and sometimes even insults. One day, I was called to the principal’s office and when I got there, she had citizenship documents ready for me to sign. I was stunned and disgusted. I had never been more afraid, but I refused to become a Russian citizen.
The principal glowered at me with hatred in her eyes. She berated me for being "stupid." Moments later, I was expelled and sent packing, in a country that I did not know, and that hated who I was.
-After Save Ukraine helped me return home, I needed to get my brother out too. I found him in a new foster family, but he was not the boy I knew. He had been subjected to months of Russian propaganda and manipulation. He was like a puppet, saying things that I knew he did not believe – that Ukraine was run by Nazis, that nobody in Ukraine cared about him and that he had no future unless he became a Russian citizen.
-When I begged him to return home with me, he refused. Hour after hour ticked by as we argued. As I was about to lose hope, he came to his senses and agreed to come home with me. We were lucky. But there are 19,000 kidnapped Ukrainian children still in Russia. The Russian government bombards them with propaganda and abuse to weaken their Ukrainian identity. Many are punished for speaking Ukrainian.
I'm in tears: "... I feel very sad and have no desire to live". Russians' obsession is to break Ukrainians mentally, including children.
Ukraine has handed over to Qatar a list with the names of 561 Ukrainian children who were taken to Russia. This was reported by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets. ▪️Wait for the return of a group of Ukrainian children home. We are not disclosing details at this time. ▪️ Talking about the return of orphans and children deprived of parental care. Qatar agreed to work on the issue of their return to Ukraine. Preliminarily, there may be more than 3,600 such children. ▪️Qatar agreed to participate in negotiations with Russia on the return of civilians illegally detained by Russia. Lubinets also once again refuted Russian propaganda: there were no direct negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. All negotiations are mediated by Qatar.
Only on 27 April 2023, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe recognized that the forced transfer of Ukrainian children to Russia meets the criteria of genocide.

There has been something that I have been purposely leaving out for a while, unsure how to touch upon the subject in my documentation in these dreams but I feel as though it is important to mention now. Let’s first start with the facts;
This stage of life is not the first time that I have experienced recurring dreams. In fact, the strange occurrences in my blog have been something that has impacted me in various shades through the entirety of my life, taking many forms. Through fears of fire or fears of the sea and above all, fear of what will happen at the end of the world. One of these fears is what I’ll become when the end inevitably comes for me, and yanks me out of this shallow grave I’ve made for myself..
Sometimes, when I begin my dreams, somebody else is already there. This happened tonight, with me standing in the bedroom of Mindy Hason, and finding a dark, shadowy figure occupying the corner of the bedroom where I should have resided. Long, scraggly dangling limbs, one hand horribly scarred and mangled, the marks tight and mottled that spattered up both arms and a hollow gap in their side where the wind of their ragged breathing seemed to be sucked through. I could not meet their gaze, and yet I felt it, something calculating that sent a shiver down my spine. All I could think of was what that one- whatever they were, had said.. about people being chewed up and swallowed by the mouth of fear. Is this something I have to look forward to becoming? Will I one day have my own hands scarred and broken from tapping into too many realities? We’re both here for the same reason, we’re here for Mindy.
I take a step towards her, and the shadow does too. Well, what do I do now? Is he heading towards her, or is he heading towards me?? Am I ready to die for a quick fix? I glance back at Mindy, who is now crying softly, shaking while she lays in bed. This was not ideal, there was a pattern we were supposed to follow here, and this was ruining everything! I take another step forward, so does he. I pause, he does too. Mindy makes a noise in the back of her throat, her collarbone trembling under the weight of her fears. It’s then that I decide to make a lunge for her, reaching out for her eyes as the mysterious guest rushes forward as well, both of us bleeding down into her sockets.
Something clicks and whines, but Mindy doesn’t hear it. She lives out on the countryside, on her own. Years passed since she wrote her novel, ‘A Lovers Glance’, and while she does sometimes find herself feeling lonely, the solitude of her two story colonial feels safe. It feels like something she can depend on.. Mindy Hason lives alone.
Friends from back in highschool, colleagues from her previous job before she blew up– Mindy lost touch with them all once her book rose in the ranks of popularity. Out on the countryside it's all a distant dream, and so when Mindy heard a knock on her door that September afternoon, she was surprised, and even more so when she got up to see a milkman. A genuine milkman, donned in all white attire like in the 20s. She can see him there through the window on her way to the front door but as she makes her way to the door she pauses, taking a step backwards into the hall.
The man leans over and peers in through the window, cupping his hands up to the window and looking in, and at last I gain a proper look at the milkman, his grin twisted and tight against his face, his eyes dark, almost shadows on his face like his flesh was simply a mask. The house remains peaceful, quiet. Even with the gentle sounds of the countryside, nothing can shake the unadulterated terror that is ringing in my ears as Mindy backs towards the kitchen to grab her phone and call the police. She backs through the doorway, reaches her hand along the counter.. The counter is smooth, bare. There is no phone to save Mindy Hason from her fate. I really wish that I had found the wherewithal to ask a question or to break myself out of the fear that was holding me down, but something in the eyes of that man just wasn’t alive, and that terrified me. It felt like a shell, or a puppet being manipulated by something insidious that I couldn’t comprehend.
Through all this, that was when the second milk man appeared at the back screen room door, reaching for the handle, and Mindy sprints across the kitchen in leaps and bounds just to secure and lock the door in mere fractions of seconds, only to find herself face to face with this uncanny humanoid who stands at her back porch, grinning up at her with plump cartoonishly stretched cheeks. From the front of the house, she hears the door rattle and click, and the chase of running to the front door begins yet again.
How long were we there? Back and forth, from door to door, desperately relocking and trying to keep our last means of safety unbreeched? She knows she's slowing the inevitable, but she has to resist these monsters anyway she can. She saw their eyes and she knows they aren't human.
As she heads back for the screen door, he heart drops in her stomach to see the shorter of the two milk men had now found his way into her porch, waddling to the kitchen at an unnervingly calm pace. It's when the front door swings open from behind Mindy, that I wake in a cold sweat wondering just who the mysterious figure in my dreams is, and why he's trying to enter memories like me.

It was a beautiful spring day in the capital so you decided to take Cassian and go look at the little out door market. It's been a little over a month since you left Coriolanus.. or was trying to leave. He hasn't left you alone and his peacekeepers always not that far from you. Tracking you with every step.
The one time you had lunch with your friend from the Academy Flint and not long after you got back from said lunch who was at your apartment threatening you. Then a few days later he was announced dead. You felt absolutely sick that the man you’d once loved and trusted did this.
You maybe wondering why Y/n had left him. Well the secrets, the lies. What he was doing to others... You didn't trust him. Especially after you had found Lucy Grays Earring. You always had your suspicions but it wasn't until you found the earring and a song that she had wrote just for him. That was the last straw. After that you had packed your and Cassians things when Coriolanus was working but before you left you made sure to put the items on his desk waiting for him like Lucy Grays ghost that has been haunting him. Maybe it was ignorant but you could've honestly cared less. You weren't going to live in something that had a ghost... something that was a lie...
"Mama look!" Cassian shouted tugging the hem of your dress snapping you out of your thoughts as he pointed over to a stall in the market that was selling to no surprise flowers. "Can we please go look at them."
"Of course my love. Just let me pay for this and we will." Y/n said smiling down at her son, Cassian huffed before wondering off around the other side of the stall they were currently at.
"Alright Cassia-" Y/n started but froze not seeing him. She then looked over at the flower stall to see him nowhere.
"Cassian!" She called out looking around the stalls.
"Excuse me have you seen my son Cassian? He was wearing a little brown coat?." Y/n asked a lady passing by. She hesitantly shook her head.
"Cassian!" Y/n yelled. Her throat tightening up as she was realising the horror of the situation. Her hand went over her mouth as she let out a sob.
"Mrs.Snow?" A peacekeeper asked. Emme looked up with tears in her eyes.
"I-it's Cassian.." She grabbed on to his arms as she shook he gave her a concerned look. "Madam-" "Cassians missing.. I-I think h-he's been kidnapped."
The peacekeeper straightened before going over to a group of other peacekeepers notifying them telling one to tell Snow and one to be there for her as the rest and more look for him.
A few moments later, Coriolanus showed up in a mad dash mode going straight to you and taking you home so you would be safe and nothing would happen to you. Where a peacekeeper awaited to get more information.
"Okay, where gonna need a description of what he was wearing." A peacekeeper asked. Y/n let out a shaky sigh.
"He was wearing a little brown coat with a white shirt and tailored jeans with stitching on them. And black shoes." Y/n said shaking as her voice broke.
The peacekeeper gave her a sad look before nodding and paging the others telling them the description and to fan out. As the peacekeeper and Coriolanus turned back she was gone.
Y/n found herself in Cassians room with her heart in hand. Thinking maybe if she'd stay.. he would be here.. he would be home.
Coriolanus came into his son's room. Where he found you sitting on Cassian's bed holding his favorite stuffed animal.
"They're still looking for him." Coriolanus
"You should've been there..to protect him.." Y/n whispered, Coriolanus looked at you.
"You should've been there... and I shouldn't have left.." She said tears streaming down her face. Coriolanus tried to reached out to her.
She moved away bringing the stuffed animal to her chest. Coriolanus reached out again bringing her into an embrace as she sobbed into his shoulder.
"I-I can't lose him.. he's all I have left.." Y/n said pulling back slightly only for him to pull her back into the embrace.
"You're not going to lose him. I promise. We- I will find him." Coriolanus vowed.
"Sir." Coriolanus looked up to see one of the peacekeepers. He nodded to him.
"I have to go talk with them.." Coriolanus murmured to you. You sniffed before pulling away but he grabbed your hand. "Come with me.." he whispered.
You nodded an okay not wanting to be alone. Taking his hand making your way to his office.
"Mama!" You heard a yell. Y/n looked over to see Cassian letting go of Coriolanus's hand. "Baby."
She let out a cry of relief as she ran over to her son and picking him up. Holding him close to her chest and placing a kiss on his forehead. Tears falling down her face as she thanked the heavens that he was safe and sound.
Coriolanus, told the peacekeepers to bring the one that took him to the ward and kill the others. They nodded and left to do their duty.
Y/n turned around feeling Coriolanus's presence and turned around to his embrace. His arms immediately wrapping around her and kissing the top of her head.
"I-I'm so sorry. What happened to you?" Y/n said/asked between sobs.
"It's okay.. everything's okay now.." Coriolanus said kissing your hair as he held you both close.
It wasn't long before Cassian fell asleep in your arms exhausted from the day but finally safe in his mother's arms.
"I'll have one of the staff send for your stuff to bring it back home." Coriolanus said, you nodded to exhausted and shook up to answer. "Hey look at me." You sighed tears slipping out as you looked at him.
"He's okay. He's safe. Your safe. I will make sure this NEVER happens to any of you again. Okay? I promise" Coriolanus assured, y/n nodded as silent tears fell. He gave you kiss on your head.
"Why don't you both go to bed. I'll be there in a minute." Coriolanus said. She gave a look. "I promise." She sighed to exhausted to argue or stay as she held Cassian in her arms and leaving to the bedroom.
~~~~
"I told you to scare her. NOT to take my child from her-from US." Coriolanus seethed at the ragged man who he had hired to scare you so you would come back to him.
"I did what you asked me to do." He said in pain from the whips from the peacekeepers.
"No." The man looked at him in horror as his tone turned even more darker and sinister like.
"No you didn't. You touched what's mine. You don't touch what's mine. Not my girl and certainly NOT my child." Coriolanus seethed. Turning to the peacekeepers.
"Make sure he pays for what he's done and make sure he's NEVER seen agin." He ordered, the peacekeepers bowed their heads understanding what he exactly meant as Coriolanus left the last thing heard before the door shut was a loud curdling scream.
~~~~
He made his way to the their bedroom to see
y/n laying on her side with Cassian asleep next to her and her arms wrapped around him holding him close. Coriolanus went up to her sleeping form his finger brushing against her cheek.
"I told you before I'd never let you go.. and I'm never having you leave again.." He whispered before bending down placing a kiss on her forehead and taking a whiff of her hair. Before discarding his day outfit leaving him in nothing but his boxers and lose white tank top. Slipping into the bed finally having his wife and child back. Never planing on let them escape his grasp again..
I've seen a lot of Danny being Ellie's dad but where is the Pariah Dark adopts this sassy ghost child that beat him in a duel and is now prince because why not adopt the overpowered child. Which leads to the JL fighting Danny for whatever reason and when he calls for help he calls his new dad and oh shit is that the Ghost King
Danny was with Sam and Tucker in the Ghost Zone when three seven-man squads of ghost knights found him. They had found an empty island near the portal that they had made into a makeshift training ground so he could safely practice his powers.
The most recent fights had shown him that he was only winning because of his quick thinking and adaptability that tricked his enemies, but he needed to get better if he ever wanted to prevent an incident like the ones at Axion labs from ever happening again.
He couldn't afford to create another arch-nemesis. Plus his good luck and clever mind could only get him so far if his body couldn't keep up.
He was in the middle of shooting the rays from the various drones Tucker set up when the knights landed on his island. Their metal clacking with each step they took, marching away from their skeleton winged horses.
At once, Danny flew between the ground, feeling more than seeing his friends scrambling for their weapons as he raised his fists.
"Who are you?" He demanded, watching the other squads surround them. Tucker and Sam spun around, each pressing up against his back in a makeshift triangle.
The hum of their ghost guns echoed through the air as the knights continued their marching until they had formed a circle around the three.
I don't like this. Danny thought felt his own ecto-ray heating up in his palms. They look oddly familiar. Where have I seen those armors?
The knights all, simultaneously, dropped to one knee, surprising the three teenagers. They bowed their heads, and even the winged horses followed suit,
"Prince Phantom." The one right in front of Danny said, "We have come as your formal escort to your Father's keep. He demands your presence."
"My Dad?" Danny repeats, voiced, laced with doubt. , "My Dad sent ghosts to escort me home? Do I look stupid to you?"
"It is not your sire, Jack Fenton, I speak of," The Knight explains, voice still respectful even when staring at the ground. Danny can't see his eyes or any of the other knights, as they are hidden in the shadows of their helmets. "I speak of the Ghost King, Pariah Dark, who has chosen you are his Heir. You are summoned to complete the adoption process."
"Yeah, that's going to be a no from me." Danny deadpans, even if his insides have turned to ice. Pariah Dark was resealed, Danny personally made sure of that, so why was this guy speaking as if he was back?
"Apologies, my Prince, but you do not have a choice," declares the other, and almost as if that was a cue of some kind, the other knights rise from their knees. They descend on the trio faster than Danny was expecting.
He ducks and waves as three different fists fly to his face, reaching down to aim an uppercut at the one on his right. It lands with a clack and a sting in his knuckles as the helmets odd shape as some protection to the chin
Shaking out his hand, Danny is not prepared for the kick to his side that sends him flying.
He lands in a heap but is quick to get back to his feet as rope is lassoed around one of his wrists. He gapes at it as another knight, quickly throws on to his other arms and suddenly he's being tugged in two different directions.
Summoning his ice, Danny has it travel down the ropes towards the knights, who drop it just as the ice would have encased their hands. Freed, Danny, leaps back as a flying kick paces mere inches from his face and has to quickly raise his hands to block an ecto-ray to the chest.
"Do not harm the Prince!" The leader barks "Capture the humans, he will go willingly if we have hostages!"
Danny swings his head towards Sam and Tucker, who have been forced up against a wall, shooting desperately at the advancing knights. Their shots are being knocked away by flowing swords, and it was obvious their movements were slowing down.
Despite the many fights they have helped in a fight, neither Sam or Tucker could outlast a ghost. Their stamina was superior, and sadly, it seemed these particular ghosts also had training under their belts.
"No!" Danny moved to help but just as he turned his eyes away from the Knight Leader, a bubble of ectoplasm exploded in his face.
"I told you not to harm the Prince!" Someone roars over the sound of ringing in his ears. Hands fell on all his limbs holding him down, even if he weakly tried to shake them off. Everything is spinning, though, and his vision is blurring in and out of focus. He sees Sam fall to the ground with Tucker screaming something he can't make out before Danny is left up and dragged away.
There is a weight around his wrists and ankles, indicating he's been tied up, but Danny can barely keep his head from bobbing to the side. He had no energy to attempt to break his bonds.
He knew no more as he was thrown into a carriage, the block dots in his vision taking over completely.
Three years later, Danny is overlooking the development of a ghost colony in a far-off corner of King Pariah's empire. This colony was made entirely of former slaves whom Danny fought his adoptive father tooth and nail to free.
Pariah moods were odd. He controlled everything Danny did, but he also wanted Danny to take his own stances on how the empire should be run. The Ghost King's control had expanded to nearly all corners of the Ghost Zone, breaking and tearing apart any resistance they found.
War had broken out as ghosts from various tribes and kingdoms fought desperately to keep their freedom. Pariah saw no challenge in their attempts, crushing anyone that stood in his way.
His aim was to once again rule all over the dead, and later, once every ghost bowed to his whim, invade the living world again but this time there would be no Halfa child to stop him.
Said Halfa that was now heir of the tyrant. Everyone knew about the kidnapped Prince, as his tale was told in resistance meetings both in pity and in rage.
Prince Phantom's iconic white hair and green eyes were just as widely known as his golden collar was. It was created by King Pariah, to keep the prince in the area by an invisible fence he set up. Should Prince Phantom attempt to fly or walk out of those areas, the collar would turn into flaming chains, yanking the prince back. It wouldn't burn him, thankfully, but it would drag him roughly.
It didn't help that the collar stopped Prince Phantom from accessing his powers. It was almost like he was a full human, except he was trapped in his ghost form and in the Ghost Zone, which meant his options were far more limited than normal.
He was more of a royal hostage than an actual heir.
Even out here, while overlooking reports and listening to testimonies, Prince Phantom could not leave the tower of the newest colony. At all times there was two guards that followed him and limited his movements too.
Despite his position, the Prince did everything he could to protect the people, tales of him jumping to a servant's defense against his father, advocating for the abolishment of slavery, and even offering to serve any punishment for any ghost child. The people loved their prince, and all wanted to one day see him free as well.
Rumors had it that the leaders of the main resistance were two humans who were desperately trying to free Prince Phantom, but since everyone in the rebellion's army's identity remained secret, no one knew how true those rumors were.
Danny unrolls a scroll, sighing at the numbers. "If nothing is done about the harvest, the people will starve come winter. We need to start rationing. Take whatever you need from my own supplies before we start applying it to the people."
"My Prince, we couldn't possibly ask that of you. Already, you granted us freedom and a home. ," Started the mayor of the colony, only to stop at the sight of a large magical circle forming around the prince. Danny's eyes widened as well, feeling his collar start to glow as whatever it is attempt to yank him away.
He feels it start to crack as the magic overpowers the collar's settings. Hope flares in his heart as his guards leap to their feet. Before they can so much as come near him, the mayor throws himself at them with a roar. "Run, my Prince! I shall buy you time!"
Danny is swallowed by light before he can respond, the collar left behind to clatter against the floor. He is flung through a portal made of multiple colors, so bright and blinding he has to close his eyes and hold his hands in front of his face. He lands with a startled yelp, but his hands fling to his neck.
When all he feels is flesh, tears burn his eyes sight as he sobs. He's free. He's finally free.
"Well, this isn't what I was expecting when I offered a piece of my soul" An accented voice hums, drawing attention to a group of oddly dressed strangers. A man in a trench coat lights a cigar, the glow casting his face in a dim light as he stares down at Danny with a detached appraisal glint in his eyes. "Tell me, why did my spell bring me a child when I asked for a champion to overthrow the Ghost King?"
Danny's ice core starts to slowly freeze the room over, his breath visible as his eyes harden. "It brought me here because I am going to kill my father."
"Prince Phantom" Trench coat man identifies with some relief. "A pleasure to finally meet you. This is the Justice League and they like to lend a hand in your parricide."
I'm a little late today ^^ I had an internal argument about the character

➤ Day 16: Spell “It’s like you put a spell on me.” | Make your drawing magical!
-
He was so … polite when you first met him.
He visited the café you worked at with two other men and had asked for the person who had made the cake. You were about to leave when your colleague came to find you and told you all about the customer. When you went to the front and introduced yourself as the person responsible for all the cakes and other sweets that were sold he showered you with compliments.
Introducing himself as Barbatos, he asked you about the cake and later about your job in particular. You told him that you were a confectioner and all you could about the cake - except for the details you had changed in the recipe. It would still come out well if he wanted to make one himself just not exactly like yours.
He was very nice and easy to talk to but it didn’t escape your notice that his two friends were watching with great interest as he kept on talking to you. “Never thought he could be such a chatterbox,” the raven haired one quietly said to the redhead. So, it seemed he was normally more quiet.
It didn’t matter much to you, after all, you’ll probably never talk to him again. Still, it was a nice conversation so a smile came naturally to your face and you stayed quite a bit longer than normal.
Life went on like usual after that day until one day your colleague asked you to come up front again. To your great surprise you were greeted by Barbatos once more.
“I tried to bake your cake. It came out great but … not exactly like yours,” he admitted kinda sheepishly. It was actually really cute. “Yeah, that’s just because I don’t make it exactly like the original recipe wants you to, but if I told my little secret to our customers then who’d come here to buy anything?” “Ah, I understand.” He smiled sweetly and you happily smiled at him in return. He really was a nice guy, even though you didn’t know much about him.
The next time you met him was by chance. You were on vacation and just strolled through town a little looking at the window displays of the shops when you felt a tap on your shoulder. Needless to say that you were quite surprised to see him standing behind you as you turned but you soon had forgotten about that as he engaged you in a lively conversation. He was so easy to talk to and pretty soon you found yourself on a bench in the quiet part of the park talking to him.
Nothing special. At first you had talked about the day - what you were doing and that kinda stuff - and then a little more about cakes. Then the topic shifted a little to be about what he was doing - seemed he was some kind of butler.
“It was really cute seeing you the other day. You were on the playground with a little child.” “Well, yes. I was looking after my nephew.” That was weird. You were sure there were no other people around that day. Barbatos seemed to catch on to your sudden discomfort and changed the topic.
“You know, it is really bewitching.” “Bewitching? What is?” That sudden remark caused you to smile a little in confusion. He smiled back at you. “Your smile is. It’s like you put a spell on me.” Your expression went blank and you shifted in your seat causing him to raise a brow in question. It wasn’t even two months ago when you broke up with your last partner in a very unpleasant way, so you didn’t really like the way this conversation was going.
“It was really nice meeting you again, Barbatos. I gotta go now.” As abruptly as you stood up you didn’t notice his expression changing. What you did notice was when he caught your wrist to stop you from leaving. “I’m sorry Barbatos but I really have to go now.” When he looked up at you he had a polite smile on his face that didn’t give away his real emotions. “It’s so nice hearing you say my name.” Startled, you looked at him. He was right. It was the first time you had actually used his name. “Could … could you let go of me now?” “Can you say it again?” His expression remained unreadable. “Barbatos” you said, pulling your arm to remind him of your request but he didn’t let go.
“You know, I wanted to be patient but coming here isn’t that easy for me and I can’t leave my Lord Diavolo all to himself over a prolonged period of time …” He seemed to think about something while you stared at him confused. What was he even talking about?
“Yes,” he finally said “I think it’s best if I just take you with me. Then you can just show me how you’ve changed the recipe of your cakes.”
You stared at him in confusion that soon turned to pure horror when his appearance changed in front of you: Somehow he suddenly had strange bone like wings attached to his head but what caught your attention more was the split tail loosely wrapping around your waist.
Terrified you tried to get out of his grib yet even though he wasn’t holding you with much force you couldn’t get his hand to open no matter what you did. Barbatos continued to smile at you and even tried to calm you down a little but you didn’t want to be calmed down. Breathing way too fast you still tried to get your hand out of his hold until you felt too dizzy to continue your struggle. Barbatos easily caught you once your legs gave way.
“Don’t worry, (y/n). You’ll like it.” That was the last you heard before you blacked out.
He was so polite when you first met him.
How could you have been so wrong?
"My crown is on my brow, my naked blade within my hand.
My army like an eager hound lies waiting my command.
With how you tortured, killed and lied revealed to them this day---
By all the stars that ever shone,
By all the gods, known and unknown,
For Herald Kris and my Queen's Own---
I swear that you will pay!"

Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Part 9 Part 10
Warnings: restraints; kidnapping; pet whump; blood; biting, defiant whumpee
Whumper surveyed their new pet as they knelt on the floor, their arms bound behind their back. Whumper was very pleased. This one was very….pretty. “Welcome, my pet.”
“Pet?” Whumpee tilted their head. “That’s a first.”
Whumper frowned. “Yes, pet. This may come as a–”
“Wait, like pet pet?”
Whumper took a slow breath. New pets always took training. This one was proving to be…difficult. “I am your master now. You will listen to me!”
Whumpee rolled their eyes. “Listening has never really been my thing.”
“Then you will learn,” Whumper sneered. They cast about for their crop. This one was testing their patience.
“I’m assuming you would much rather a warm cuddly pet. Never had a dog. Mother abhorred all things with fur. The man who raised me, he had cats.” Whumpee continued to ramble on.
“What are you going on about, my pet?” Whumper asked as they snatched their riding crop from the desk.
Whumpee’s eyes grew wide as Whumper brought the crop close to Whumpee’s face. Whumper brought it under their chin, lifting it slightly. “I-I was just saying I don’t have much practice with pets.”
“Well, I can teach you, pet.” Whumper whispered. “You were around cats?”
“Sometimes. Not too often. My sister is allergic. But,” Whumpee’s blue eyes shined brightly as Whumper ran the crop down Whumpee’s body. “But I did have a pet once.”
Whumper cupped Whumpee’s face delicately, crop poised to strike if needed. “Oh? My pet had a pet? And tell me, pretty, what did you have?”
The blue eyes turned icy as Whumpee twisted in Whumper’s grasp. “Snakes.” Whumpee bit down on Whumper’s hand that cupped Whumpee’s face. Whumper howled and attempted to strike Whumpee with the crop, but Whumpee lunged forward, shifting Whumper off balance.
The two of them fell into a heap on the ground, Whumpee thrashing violently as they continued to bite down on Whumper’s hand. Whumper’s pained shrieks drew the attention of their minions who flooded the room and one of the minions hooked two fingers in Whumpee’s nose forcing Whumpee to release Whumper.
Whumper jumped up, snatched their crop and slapped Whumpee across the face. “That was a bad pet! How dare you bite your master!” They slapped Whumpee again.
Icy blue eyes stared up at Whumper, defiant as ever. Whumpee licked the blood off their lips. Whumper’s blood. “Hiss hiss, motherfucker.”
Warnings: kidnapping, torture, restraint, drugging, creepy/intimate whumper, hurt/aftermath
Whumpee woke slowly, their face aching from where Whumper had struck them. Their heart started racing. They tugged uselessly at the bindings. Hot tears leaked down their cheeks.
“My Whumpee! You’re awake. Excellent.” Whumper’s footsteps stopped short of the edge of Whumpee’s bed. Whumpee could hear them, but not see them. “I’m thinking of trying something fun today!” Whumpee felt the bed shift. “It’ll be fun for all three of us.” Whumper remained out of sight.
“Fun? How is this fun? I’m tied down. And not in the fun kind of way. Drugged, bound, and with you.”
“Come on, Whumpee, you like me.” There was an edge to Whumper’s voice.
“You’re right. I’m sorry, Whumper.” Whumpee swallowed and closed their eyes.
“Keep your eyes open. You’re going to do as you’re told, Whumpee. From now on. And I won’t turn my attention to Teammate. You are mine. Mine. Do you hear me?”
“I’m not fucking yours.” The words tumbled out of Whumpee’s mouth before they could stop themselves. Before they could help and save themselves.
Whumper was in front of them again, slapping their face. “You are mine. And you will say that. Each time. Or I will do what I want with Teammate, and you will not like that. Are we clear, Whumpee?”
“Fuck you,” Whumpee spat in Whumper’s face.
Dark eyes frowned down at Whumpee. “I did try to warn you. I know you aren’t stupid. Such fighting spirit. But you will come around, my Whumpee. And you will be mine. Always and forever.” Whumper lifted Whumpee roughly. Whumpee fought against Whumper weakly, the drugs still in their system. Whumper flipped Whumpee over so they could face the bound, gagged, and unconscious Teammate.
“Now you have to watch me give Teammate the attention that I would have given you if you’d just complied.”
“No, no, no, wait. Wait! Whumper, wait!. I’ll be yours. Wait. Yours, right, that’s what you want to hear?” Whumpee desperately tried to get Whumper’s attention.
“No, my Whumpee, that’s not how this works. I know you are trying to trick me,” Whumper wagged a long finger in Whumpee’s face. “You have to be punished for your disobedience. One day you’ll learn. And we have all the time in the world.” Whumper turned their loving gaze back to Teammate. “You know, teamwork makes the dream work.” Dark eyes glinted up at Whumpee.
Whumpee jolted awake. It was dim in the room, the light coming from just beyond the door. Their nightmares had been getting progressively worse. The memories of what had happened infiltrating even moment of their waking and nonwaking hours.
Caretaker walked in quietly. “Whumpee, you’re awake. Are you hungry?”
“No, thank you Caretaker. How long was I out for?”
“About six hours. You needed it, Whumpee. You’ve been fighting sleep for weeks.”
“Can’t sleep. Whumper’s there. Every time I close my eyes. It’s Whumper.”
Caretaker sat down on the edge of the bed. They held open their arms for Whumpee. “I’m here, Whumpee. And Whumper’s not. You’re safe.”
Whumpee bridged the gap between them, clutching at Caretaker’s shirt. Their tears were already flowing. They knew that. But it didn’t change the memories. It didn’t change that they relived every moment with Whumper every time they close their eyes.
Does this have a happy ending
Because this is how I'm going to feel if it doesn't:
something for this cars au
Lightning’s mother, Marylin McQueen, was a rookie spy who was a year and a half into the job and looked up to Finn McMissile as her role model. She even got to work with him a couple of missions in her career and Finn was impressed with her skill. He saw her as his student, and he even got to meet Monty (Lightning) when he was still a baby, who unfortunately started crying when Finn tried going near him. It was then extremely tragic for Finn when he found out that she was murdered, with her infant son kidnapped by the lemons. He went to her private government funded funeral and swore that he’d someday find her lost child.
Eighteen years later, traveling to Radiator Springs with his clever assistant Holly and trusty tow truck pal Mater, the trio are tagged along by a curious, brave, compassionate, and somewhat naïve stock car they mistakenly captured from the lemon’s oil factories with striking blue eyes that look too familiar to the veteran spy. It must be a coincidence, right?
It’s only when Lightning has been taken back by the lemons and he and his colleagues are on a path straight to death, is when he realizes who he was. He’d found his mentee’s lost son, and he’s lost him again.

Ah, y-you're back… You're… finally back…
…Paid? You got… paid? Did you… are you selling me off to someone else? O-oh, you mean my ransom finally got paid… by my family…
Right, you did mention that…
…
…You're not going to hit me for disobeying you, or forgetting? N-no? Because you're… not that cruel?
Wait, does that mean that. That when you ripped off my nails o-on camera, it wasn't so you could… so you could rewatch the recording and enjoy my pathetic crying and wailing? O-oh… I see…
I… I guess that does make more sense. I mean, who would… who would want to record something like that for their own sick pleasure, right?
Hii— I'm sorry! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to insult you! Of course it's—of course it's fine if you want to record something like that for yourself! Someone like me has no right to com—
Ah, a joke…
Of course I'm relieved. I'm just…
…
I'm not used to you not digging your nails into my cheeks every time I dare look away from you…
And, um, well. This doesn't. It doesn't feel real, you know? It's been five months since you, uh, p-placed me in… well, kidnapped me. B-being free again sound so… surreal…
This isn't… some sick joke, right? It's really not? You promise?
I-I'm glad. …Thank you.
…Huh? There's something seriously wrong with me if I thank you after everything you've done to me? W-well! You know!
…I don't sound very thankful? That's, um…
…
…Do you want me to get knees and kiss your shoes? You'd need to unbind me for that th—No! Of course I'm kidding! I'm—
O-oh, you're really… you're really doing it, you're really unbinding me. I, wow…
You must really trust me…
W-well, yeah, of course the handcuffs were really uncomfortable. You only ever let me out of them when you were, were t-tortu… I can't say it.
The… huh? No, rubbing them this harshly won't just make the scarring worse, l-like you're, um, saying. W-wait, please don't thro—ow!
Oh, this is… disinfectant…
Um, well, for all I know you could've put some cleaning product in here like the last time you… Even if you're insisting it safe because the ran… Right, the ransom got paid. I'm free now…
N-no! I'll use it, I'll use it! You're way too close!
Even if you put something else in here again, or it's really disinfectant and you're going to beat me again for using it because this really is just your idea of entertainment… I'll use it. You did give it to me, after all.
…Only on my wrists? Okay, only on my wrists…
…
So, uh, when's the exchange date? Or time? You're not usually this chatty. Normally you just dump food on the floor in front of me, or whip out the camera and then, well…
…Today? In… in a couple of hours? Oh… you're really early then?
You want me to… you want me to get cleaned up first? Y-you mean, in your bathroom? I'll get to… use your products? R-really?
Yeah, I'm… really happy to be clean again… I seem happier now than when you told me I'm to be free?
Well, it's just. It's just sinking in that this is for real now…
And the drive should be pretty far away from… I mean, what would I know. I was out cold for that. I just assumed… It would be kind of stupid to kidnap and hold someone close to where they live, right? You'd want to be a distance away and not get caught… right?
OW!
Ow, that really hurt! You didn't need to twist my arm like th—ow! I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I wasn't calling you stupid, I was complimenting y—ah!
You're pulling… holy shit, you're pulling my hair really hard. I won't run, so you don't have to—hng! I'm—I'm sorry, I didn't mean to backtalk.
…I knew it.
You said, earlier, earlier you said you weren't that cruel, but you really do enjoy my tea—I mean, you really do enjoy hurting me.
Ah! Don't shove me that hard, you—
Because we've… arrived? At the—wait, wait, wait but you said that was still a couple hours away? You—oh, your… your bathroom…
Y-yeah, of course I knew that. I was just…
…
The bath looks really warm… Is it really okay for me to—I should just get in already and stop wasting your time? Y-yeah, um… sorry…
—H!
You made this scalding hot on purpose, didn't you?
N-no, I'm not complaining. I'll take it, I'll take it… This is better than no bath, s-so…
…I should put my hands out? Okay…
Is this your—your bath soap?
…
…I'm! It just feels really nice to smell something so mundane again…
No, wait, wait, I'll use it! I'll stop wasting your time, please don't take it away!
…I should… I should be thankful because I finally get to clean myself?
R-right… Um, t… thank you very much…
—H-huh? I should kiss your feet to r-really prove it l-like I offered to earlier?
That's… that's so… I'll—Okay, I'll do it..
Oh it was a, it was just a joke… I'm not eager! This is just—Of course you'll hurt me less if I do as you say, even if it's—
Even if it's something like this…
…
It's… it's already time to get out?
Um, right…
…
Actually, um, could I… could I stay a couple more minutes? I just… This is my first bath in so long, I don't want it to end…
OW! You really don't have to pull on my hair every time I—ow! I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Please don't—
Wh… what are you… doing with those scissors?
If I… if I misbehave again you're going to… No, no, nonono I'm sorry! Please, please, don't—I'll behave, just don't—Please! I'm really sorry, I don't, I won't—
Aah…
Okay, thank you, I'm sorry, thank you…
…
A-ah? Change into this? You even… you not only let me use your bathroom, you even got me new clothes…
Y-yes! Thank you! I'm sorry! I'll—
Eek!—I'll be quiet now. I'm sorry.
…
S-stick out my hands again? Okay…
…Handcuffs again? No, no of course I don't mind! It's okay! Please don't get mad…
Y-you're not? Okay…
…I talk a lot? Um, I think… Maybe, I'm just kind of lonely…
You, uh, you have been my only social contact for five months now…
Or, um, roughly five months now. I'm assuming. It's kind of hard to tell how much time has passed when you've been stuck in a basement for so long.
I just…
…
I'm not—I'm not just stalling for time!
It's just… Are you, are you sure this isn't some messed up joke? You're not dangling this hope in front of me just to take it away?
This would… this would be a good time to reveal that.
…No? My family really paid the entire amount?
…They've never really… cared about me, so it's kind of surprising… Honestly, when you first mentioned it, I thought you were joking. I mean, it's true they have the money…
I'm their son, so it's only natural? Well, yeah, I guess, but…
It's… That's cruel of you to say. You had to have known what our relationship was like before you…
…Anyway, this joke isn't funny anymore. Please take me back to the basement now.
…
…It really isn't. You've done it, you've completely dashed my hopes. I hope you're happy now. I… I'm never getting out of here, I know that, okay?
It's… really cruel of you to toy with me like that.
So just… just take me back.
That's what the handcuffs are for, too, right?
…
…No?
No, you're really just going to throw me away like this?
Actually, I… when you approached me that night and told me to get into your car or else, I didn't know what to do. It made me so, so happy when I realised you must've planned this months in advance.
To think you were spending that much time thinking about me…
I was so, so certain you were finally getting revenge on me…
…Yeah. I thought… I'd been stalking you for two years, and even before that—so I thought… I thought that you'd taken me home to put me in my place, to teach me a lesson.
The last couple of months have been the happiest in my life. It's like… I was in heaven.
I mean, getting tortured in real life is a totally different ballpark than fantasising about it, that's true, but! But! Even if it was just painful, I wouldn't mind, because it's you! I could never hate or dislike anything you do to me!
You're backing away, but I promise you don't have anything to fear! Even if you go through on your promise, I don't mind! I won't struggle.
I belong to you, so anything you do is justified! You have that right!
But seeing your expression, you really didn't know about any of that…
I thought—I thought!
I thought maybe for once I was something special to someone, even if you did just hate me! I thought that with hard work and a lot of time, maybe I could be someone special to you in more ways than just the toy you keep in your basement!
I thought that…
…I guess it makes sense that you just remembered me as that rich loser you shared a class with once. But I…
…
…Why don't you just keep me in your basement again?
You wouldn't even need to keep me in handcuffs; I'd never run away! Or—or, of course, you could keep me bound the entire time, if that would make you feel more at ease!
You can… you can keep doing whatever you want to me! At any time! I won't struggle anymore! I'll cry and look cute and pitiful and pretty and whatever else you want me to!
You don't need to feed me regularly, or at all, or—Please don't back away…
I actually… I actually really like it when you pull on my hair!
I… I really love looking at my reflection in the mirror you left up in the basement, because I get to see the permanent marks you left on my face, like when you broke my nose three weeks into being home with you!
My favourite is probably when you coo at me and call me cute and condescendingly wipe away my tears—it always seemed to please you when I cried even harder… Even if—even if that was just an act, you seemed to be having fun!
And—and you really liked forcing me to look directly into the camera and.. and making me degrade myself, and repeat all those embarrassing lines, and—
What about that time you suggested getting me a shock collar? Or, or what about all those times you threatened to carve your name into my skin so I'd be ruined for everyone who came after you? You were joking but, but you seemed really into the idea! We could do that!
Am I talking too much again? You can tape up my mouth if you want, or break my arm for scaring you, or for being so arrogant, or—
Don't you—don't you want that to continue?
Nothing has to change!
Just throw me into that chair and lock the door and don't give me anything to eat for a week in punishment and raise my price and things can go back to the way they were! Or however way you want them to be!
Ack—Y-you're really pulling again, I can feel your nails really digging into my scalp—No, that's not a complaint!
I'll be good! I'll do anything! Anything—just please, please, pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease don't throw me away!

TW: Needles, (Consensual?) Kidnapping, Cursing
"For all the times you've gotten angry because I stayed up too late," Villain chucked. "You seem to be awake at such a late hour of the night."
"Why are you in my house?" Hero didn't look up from the paperwork they were filling out.
"You call this a house?" Villain looked around the half-decent apartment the hero agency had assigned to them, mockingly gesturing to the dishwasher that had broken down weeks ago. They had probably just resorted to hand washing. Villain saw the soap on the edges of the sink.
Hero continued writing. "You're avoiding my question."
Villain shrugged. "I just wanted to see you." They murmured, their hand running along the edge of the desk.
"I don't have time to deal with your bullshit."
"This really is a pretty terrible desk."
"This really is a horrible time for you to come over."
"Oh, what? Am I interrupting you from your important paperwork?" Villain leaned on the edge of the desk, snatching one of the forms before Hero could respond. Villain took note of that and frowned. "You're reaction time."
Hero slumped into the chair with a huff. "My reaction time is excellent."
"I had already read half the page by the time you tried to snatch this back." Villain waved it a bit. "How many hours of sleep did you get? "
"If you came here to kick my ass, just do it already."
"Oh, who's avoiding questions now?" Villain set the paper down in favor of grabbing Hero by the chin, leaning over the desk to make sure Hero couldn't avoid them. "Go to sleep."
Hero scowled. "This is due tomorrow. I don't exactly have time for you-"
"You have time when I say you do." Villain snapped, letting go and pulling a syringe out of their pocket. "Do I need to force you to sleep?"
Hero's demeanor went from irritated to downright fearful. "You wouldn't."
Villain smiled. "Can't finish those papers if you've been kidnapped."
They expected protests, fighting even. But the real shock came when Hero simply tossed the pen down and rubbed their hand over their face. "Please."
Now it was Villain's turn to be shocked. "You want this?" They blurted out.
The nod was hesitant but there. "Just for a couple days." Villain saw the gears turning. "I just need some time to clear my head- no, I could pay if you want- oh God, what am I doing?"
Villain set the shiny syringe down. "No need for payment. I know what your salary is." They busied themselves by searching his pockets for a sack and rope (Hero always teased them about their never-ending pockets).
Hero began to protest. "I'll go willingly, just-"
"Oh, I know you will. But there are security cameras outside the building, and I don't think the Agency will be happy when they see you just walking out of the building."
Hero opened their mouth, then closed it. "No sedative?"
"Oh, darling."
Villain knew how everyone would react if they found out Hero had been awake when kidnapped. How they should've done more to fight. How they should've been better. Villain wondered how Hero could take all the criticism despite everything they've done for the city. This needed to look real. Villain knew Hero would fight out of pure instinct the moment the sack went on.
Hero sighed, defeated. "Just..." Their gaze never left the needle. "A small dosage."
Villain moved swiftly, the needle in Hero's arm before their sluggish brain could comprehend what was happening. "With how much sleep you've gotten?" They murmured as they pushed a little bit of the drug in. "I don't think you're going to wake up soon."
In all honesty, they didn't need to take a full dosage. Hero was out like a light, eyes rolling to the back of their heads as they slumped into the Villain's waiting arms. They chuckled, grabbing the sack.
They wouldn't hurt the Hero. At least not now. There was no fun in fighting your nemesis when they weren't up to your level. Hero needed help, something Villain would be happy to provide.
Villain left the tiny apartment and the now burning stack of papers with Hero slung over their shoulder and the determination to give them the help they deserved.
Constructive Criticism is very much appreciated! :) Hope y'all have an amazing day/night!

You wake to the soft warmth of sunlight spilling through sheer curtains, casting an ethereal glow over the room. The faint scent of pancakes lingers in the air, drifting through your senses like an old, forgotten memory.
The bed is plush beneath you and too soft, almost as if it were made to cocoon you, to hold you in a place of perfect comfort. The sheets are smooth, cool, but they don't belong. They're foreign, unfamiliar. You blink, disoriented. Something about the room seems… off. There’s a quiet stillness to it, a sense of being watched, though the air is unthreatening. A low hum of something distant, like a heart beating just a little too fast.
The room is small, but cozy. Elegant, even. The soft glow of the morning sun is reflected in the delicate furniture such as a nightstand with a polished wood surface or the dresser with a few scattered items on top. Your eyes, still unfocused, drift to a framed picture on the nightstand. You reach out automatically, though your hand trembles slightly as you grasp the edge of the frame.
The photo inside is a strange sight.
It’s a picture of you. You’re smiling, laughing, in fact. Your arms are wrapped around two men, standing close to each other with their own hands resting on your shoulders. You look happy, relaxed. Safe.
But you don’t recognize them. Not at all.
The taller man has blond hair, a strong jawline, and eyes that should be comforting, but they don’t reach you. He’s smiling down at you as if you were someone he cared about, but you can’t remember ever knowing him. The other man has dark, disheveled hair, a shadow of stubble along his jaw, and eyes that seem… more distant. Cold. But even as you stare, your heart feels like it’s trying to remember something buried, something lost.
You drop the frame back onto the nightstand with a soft thud, and for a moment, the silence is deafening.
“Hey.”
The voice comes from the doorway, low and warm, though the words hold an edge you can’t place.
You snap your head up, your breath quickening as you sit up on the bed. A man stands there tall, broad-shouldered, with a metal arm hanging at his side. His eyes, dark and full of something unreadable, watch you carefully. You can feel his gaze weighing on you, measuring you.
“You’re awake,” His voice is soft but firm. He looks oddly… relieved. But there's something about the way he watches you, something that doesn’t feel quite right.
“Who… who are you?” Your voice is hoarse, trembling, and you immediately feel a sense of panic clawing at your chest.
The man takes a step forward, his expression unreadable. “It’s okay. Don’t worry. You don’t remember us again, but that’s okay.” His voice dips a little, softer. “It happens.”
“Remember? I don’t remember anything.”
A sharp, sudden shift in the air. You don’t realize it until the second man enters the room. He’s around the same height, though leaner. Blond. His gaze falls on you immediately, and you feel an odd wave of something unfamiliar crash over you, a strange mixture of comfort and something darker.
The first man, the one who spoke, stands a little straighter at the sight of him. The second man, Steve, doesn’t seem phased at all. If anything, he’s relieved to see you awake.
But something is wrong. You can’t place it. There’s an unease in the pit of your stomach, like the weight of their presence is too heavy for you to bear.
“You’ve been through a lot,” Steve says, his voice gentle but steady. “Hydra did things to you… erased your memories. But we’re here now. We’ll help you remember.”
Your hands grip the edge of the blanket, knuckles white. Your head feels thick, heavy, as if there’s a fog clouding your thoughts. “I don’t… know you. I don’t remember this place. I don’t know who you are.”
“You’ve been here before,” Steve continues, taking a slow step closer to you. “This isn’t the first time, but don’t worry. It will get easier. We’ll help you through it.” His hand reaches toward you, a tentative gesture, but there’s something possessive in the way he moves, something that makes you shudder.
“You always forget,” The man with the metal arm, Bucky, adds quietly. He doesn’t step closer, but his eyes are locked onto you, searching. “But it’s okay. We’ll remind you.”
“Don’t lie to me,” You say, your voice trembling. There’s an instinct in you, a pull to trust what they’re saying, but your gut screams that something isn’t right. “Who are you? What have you done to me?”
Steve’s hand lingers in the air, just a breath from your cheek, before he withdraws it slowly. “You were lost. You didn’t remember us the first time, either.” His words are soft, almost too soft. “But you will. You always do.”
Bucky stands silent behind Steve, his eyes fixed on you with something too intense to describe. His posture is stiff, controlled, as if he’s afraid of moving too suddenly. But there’s something cold in his gaze, something calculating, like he’s waiting to see if you’ll break.
A memory flickers in your mind, so brief it might have been imagined: a faint moment of laughter, of warmth. You and these men together, somewhere you can’t quite place. But it vanishes before you can hold onto it.
“Just… tell me the truth,” You whisper, your breath shallow. “Tell me what’s happening.”
“You’re safe,” Steve assures, kneeling beside the bed, his hand brushing the side of your face with the gentleness of a lover. “You’re always safe with us.”
Bucky steps forward then, his eyes narrowing just slightly as he watches you. His voice is low. “We’ve kept you safe every time, haven’t we?”
Something heavy fills the air between you. They’re speaking like you’re a child they’ve been caring for, but you know, something inside you knows, that’s not all of it. This isn’t just care. This feels like control.
“You belong with us after all,” Bucky murmurs, almost to himself, but loud enough for you to hear.
You flinch back as the words reverberate in your chest.
The door locks behind them with a quiet click, and you feel it reverberate in your chest like the closing of a cage. The room suddenly seems smaller, suffocating. You try to stand, to make sense of your surroundings, but your legs feel unsteady beneath you, as if they’ve forgotten how to hold your weight.
Steve remains kneeling beside the bed, his hand still hovering near your face, his touch a strange mixture of warmth and weight. His eyes are searching your face with a tenderness that should be comforting. But it isn’t.
“You don’t need to be afraid,” Steve says, his voice almost too smooth, too comforting. “You’re home now.“
“But I… don’t know you,” You whisper, the words breaking against the thick tension in the air.
You don’t know how to feel. There’s a pull in your chest, an undeniable ache to trust him, but every fiber of your being tells you to run, to escape this unfamiliar warmth. But where would you go? There are no windows in this room, only soft, almost hypnotic light and the oppressive presence of two men who insist they’ve known you for far longer than you can remember.
Bucky watches from across the room, his metal arm resting against the doorframe, his eyes dark and calculating. It’s hard to tell if he’s waiting for you to calm down, or if he’s simply studying you, waiting for the exact moment your resistance breaks.
“We’ve been through this before,” Bucky says, his voice low, but it carries an edge of something dark. "Every time, you don’t remember, but you get it back. We’re here for you.”
Your eyes flicker to him, his posture so tense, it’s like he’s bracing for something, waiting for a signal you can’t see. You don’t know him. You don’t know any of this, and yet… The flicker of a memory dances in the back of your mind again. You see yourself in his arms held close, like you belong. But it’s all too foggy, too distant. The image fades before you can grasp it fully.
Bucky shifts, his gaze flicking between you and Steve. His body language speaks of restraint, like he’s holding something back, fighting a temptation to move closer. His hand flexes by his side, the metallic fingers of his left hand clenching in a subtle but telling motion.
“You don’t remember the last time we had breakfast together, do you?” Steve asks gently, as if testing a boundary. “You laughed so hard when I tried to cook the eggs. You called me an idiot, and then we ate on the couch, watching that romance show you love.”
You search his eyes for any hint of deception, but they’re so earnest, so soft. The words tug at something inside you, a small thread of something familiar, but your mind stubbornly holds its ground. You’re not sure if you want to trust him or if you’re simply desperate to feel like you’re home.
“I don’t remember,” You whisper, your voice catching. You want to believe him, but the words don’t feel right. “I… I don’t know, I’m sorry.”
“That’s okay,” Steve says, smiling as though this is just another part of the process, as if it’s routine. As if the confusion is natural, and it should be expected. “We’ll remind you, just like we always do.”
Bucky steps forward, his voice colder now, more insistent. “You always say that, Steve.” His eyes never leave you. “We’ve done this before. She’ll get it back, eventually.”
There’s something unsettling in the way he speaks, as if he’s not entirely sure himself that you are the same person who walked in here before. You look at Bucky, trying to make sense of him. There’s an intensity to his gaze, a hardness in his features that doesn’t soften, not even when he speaks. The way he stands, so still and poised, makes you feel like a mouse trapped in a predator’s gaze.
“Every time,” He murmurs, a strange satisfaction in his voice. “We’ll remind you. You’ll come back.”
Come back.
It feels like a command, like a foregone conclusion, and something inside you rebels against it. You want to ask him what he means, ask them both what they mean, but the words stick in your throat. You open your mouth, but nothing comes out.
Steve reaches up, cupping your chin gently with his hand. His touch is soft, but there’s an undercurrent of something darker beneath it. “We’re not going to leave you. You’ll remember. It’ll be like it always was. Like it should be.”
A flicker of discomfort sharpens your senses. There’s a strange, hollow weight behind his words, as though they don’t just want you to remember—they need you to.
“What… what if I don’t remember?” You ask, the words coming out quieter than you intended.
Steve leans in closer, his voice lower now, coaxing. “You will. You always do.”
Bucky steps forward, his eyes cold, unreadable. His lips barely twitch into something resembling a smile, but it’s fleeting, like it doesn’t quite belong. “We’ll help you. We always do.”
Something dark unfurls in your chest, a quiet, nagging suspicion that they’ve been here before. They’ve watched you forget, watched you become someone else. Someone who depends on them, who trusts them. And every time, you come back.
You come back.
The weight of the realization presses into your lungs, making it hard to breathe. You don’t know why you keep forgetting, but surely that must mean something is wrong. However, you haven’t figured out yet if it’s you or them.
-
The days blur together. Each one feels like a repetition of the last, a loop that tightens around you with every passing moment. You never quite know if what you're experiencing is real or another fragment of the memory that Steve and Bucky insist belongs to you.
Today is no different.
The room you’re confined to feels like it’s been designed for you to forget where you end and the walls begin. It’s soft, sterile, but just close enough to warm for you to feel like you should be at peace. But there’s no peace in your chest. There’s only an aching tension that never seems to let up.
Steve enters first, his footsteps silent on the floor as he walks toward you. He doesn’t speak immediately, just watches, as if waiting for something to happen. His eyes lock on yours, and for a second, you feel as though he’s peeling you open, reading you like a book.
"You’re quiet today," He says, his voice low, almost coaxing. "Not feeling well? You know I’m always here to help."
It’s a familiar line, one that’s said so many times it sounds like a chant, a mantra. Each word meant to soothe, to ease you into a false sense of security. But it doesn’t work. Not anymore.
"I'm fine," You reply, the words tasting bitter as they leave your mouth. Your throat feels dry, constricted. You’ve said this before, but it’s always the same. The moment the words leave your lips, you realize you don’t mean them.
Steve tilts his head, his gaze narrowing slightly. "You know that’s not true. You’ve been pushing us away, but that’s okay. We can fix this. We always do."
You want to protest, to argue that you don’t need fixing, but the words get tangled up in your mind. Something about his certainty, the way he speaks, makes it feel like you’ve always been broken. Maybe you are broken. Maybe you’ve always been.
Before you can respond, Bucky steps into the room, his presence an undeniable weight. His eyes flicker over to you, a hint of something unreadable in his gaze. There's a moment where neither of them says anything, just letting the silence stretch and press down on you. It feels like an eternity.
"I told you not to rush it," Bucky says quietly, but there’s no malice in his voice, just an edge of impatience, like he's waiting for something more. "She’s still trying to adjust."
Steve glances at Bucky and then back to you, his smile softening. "I know. But we need you to start remembering, sweetheart." His voice takes on a subtle urgency, like this is the moment he’s been waiting for.
You feel a cold shiver run through your body at the word "remember." It’s always been the same, always the same pressure—remember who you are, remember what you’ve lost, remember them.
But what if you can’t remember? What if you never will?
"I don’t know how to," You say, your voice barely above a whisper. It’s the truth, and it feels like the most vulnerable thing you could admit. But it’s a risk. A dangerous one.
Steve doesn’t respond with anger or frustration, he simply steps closer to you. The movement is slow, deliberate. His fingers brush lightly against your wrist, sending a jolt through your body that feels almost too intimate. Like he's trying to ground you to him, to make you realize how close you are to him.
"That’s why we’re here," Steve says, his voice soft, but there's a weight behind it now, an undeniable intensity. "We’re not going to let you suffer through this alone.”
You try to pull back, but there’s nowhere to go. The bed, the walls, they close in around you. Steve’s hand is warm on your wrist, steady, unwavering. He’s not letting you escape. And even if you wanted to, even if you tried to run*, where would you go?
Bucky watches from the doorway, his eyes tracing the movement between you and Steve, his expression unreadable. There's something calculating about the way he stands there, like he’s waiting for a signal, for you to break, for you to return to him.
“You should let her breathe, Steve,” Bucky says, his voice like gravel. It’s a command wrapped in the semblance of care, but you hear the warning in it.
Steve nods, his hand slipping away from your wrist reluctantly. “You’re right,” He mutters, his voice distant as if lost in thought. He steps back, but only just. His presence still looms over you, like a shadow you can’t escape.
You don’t know how to breathe without him close, without Bucky just in the corner of your vision. They’ve become your everything and nothing. They’re all you know and all you can remember.
“What if I never remember?” You ask again, the question hanging in the air between the three of you.
Bucky’s lips curl into something that could almost be a comforting smile, though it doesn’t reach his eyes. “You will. You always do.” His words are like a broken record, but there’s something in the way he says them that makes your heart sink.
Steve leans in, placing his hands on either side of your face, his touch gentle but firm. “You don’t need to worry about that,” He says, his voice so soothing, so tender. “We’ll help you find it. Every time you forget, we’ll remind you. It’s what we do.”
You want to protest, want to scream that you don’t need them to remind you of anything. But the words choke you. You’re too scared to speak, too frightened to resist, because something in you knows, they won’t let you.
"You belong here with us," Steve murmurs, his lips brushing against your forehead in a soft, intimate gesture that makes your skin crawl, even as your body betrays you and relaxes into it. "You always will."
And when he pulls away, it’s with the unsettling certainty that, even if you can’t remember it now, you will. You’ll always come back to them. You always do.
-
The days have begun to bleed into one another with a strange consistency, each one more difficult to tell apart than the last. The constant pull of Steve’s calm assurance, of Bucky’s quiet intensity, is starting to unravel something deep inside you.
It’s not that you don’t resist. You do. You fight against the tug in your chest, the strange sense of familiarity that lingers in every word they say, every look they share. But it’s getting harder to find the strength to push back.
Tonight, the room feels different. Softer, maybe. The lights are dimmed lower than usual, the shadows casting a calming blanket over everything. It should be unsettling, the dark corners and the tightness in your chest, but it isn’t. Not tonight.
Steve is sitting on the edge of the bed, his usual spot. He’s not forcing closeness, but you can still feel him there, a steady presence in your peripheral. Bucky stands near the door, leaning casually against the frame, his arms folded across his chest. They’re watching you, waiting.
You know what they want. They’ve made it clear in countless ways. Your memory. Your trust. Your acceptance.
And you don’t want to give it to them. But every time they speak, every time they’re close, it’s like the walls around you start to crumble. You don’t want to let go of what little resistance you have left, but the pull… it’s relentless.
“Do you feel it, too?” Steve asks, his voice low, as if the question is a secret shared only between the two of you. His eyes hold something tender, an almost imperceptible plea, hidden beneath the surface.
You know it’s a question you’re supposed to answer. You know that whatever response you give will shape what comes next. And for the first time in days, you feel the weight of that choice, heavy in your chest.
You swallow, your throat dry. “Feel what?” You ask, voice barely above a whisper. You’re stalling, buying yourself time, but it’s pointless. You already know what he’s asking.
Steve’s lips curl into a small, patient smile. “That we’re closer now. You and I. Bucky too. We’re… we’re getting you back. Piece by piece.”
A wave of something washes over you, something so familiar it almost hurts. You don’t know if it’s relief or fear, but it feels like the beginning of something you can’t stop. Something you’ve been slowly inching toward since the moment you arrived.
“I don’t…” You want to protest, want to say you don’t need them, but the words die on your lips. I don’t need them, You try to think, but the thought has no weight anymore. It’s hollow, empty.
Bucky’s voice cuts through the air, low and almost soothing, though there’s a bite to it that feels like it’s meant just for you. “It’s okay to accept it, you know. You don’t need to fight anymore.”
You look at him, his dark eyes meeting yours with an intensity that makes your breath catch. His gaze isn’t soft, but it’s not cruel, either. It’s knowing. He’s been waiting for this. Waiting for you to break.
“I’m not…” You try to force the words out, but they don’t sound like your own anymore. You don’t know who you’re trying to convince. Them, or yourself.
Steve’s hand rests on your shoulder, his touch warm and gentle, but there’s an undeniable pressure in it. “It’s okay to stop fighting,” he repeats, softer now. “We’re not going to hurt you. We’re the ones who care for you.”
And then, just as his words settle in, Bucky steps forward, his boots heavy on the floor, his presence overwhelming. He kneels beside you, his fingers brushing against your cheek in an oddly tender gesture.
“Let go,” He murmurs, his voice rough, like he’s almost pleading. “Let us take care of you. Let us remind you what it’s like. Let us remind you of who we are to you.”
His words are a poison you can’t resist. Something inside you stirs, a flicker of something you can’t place, but it’s undeniable. It’s like a missing puzzle piece clicking into place. You’ve always known them, haven’t you? You’ve always belonged to them. You don’t fight the tears that begin to well up in your eyes. Not because you’re afraid, but because it feels like something you’ve needed to release for so long. A truth you’ve buried deep, but they’ve pulled to the surface.
You don’t speak for a long moment, not sure what to say. You can’t say the words you need to. You’re afraid of the acceptance that’s threatening to bubble up.
But when Steve kisses the top of your head, when Bucky’s hand slides into yours, you feel the faintest hint of peace settle inside you. It’s quiet, like a lullaby you’ve heard before, long ago. Something you’ve always known. The tension in your chest begins to release, and your body leans into them.
“I… I remember,” You whisper, the words sounding fragile as they leave your lips. They’re barely a confession, more of an acceptance.
Steve’s smile widens, something dark and knowing in it. “Good. You always do.”
And as Bucky pulls you into his arms, the last remnants of your resistance fade away, leaving only the comforting weight of their control. You’ve stopped fighting. You’ve stopped trying to remember a life that’s no longer yours.
And now, it feels like you’ve come home.
As you lean into them, your body relaxed against theirs, Steve and Bucky exchange a quiet glance. To anyone else, it might seem like a moment of victorious tenderness, a sign that their carefully woven web of lies and control had finally worked. But for them, it’s the culmination of something far more sinister.
The truth, hidden behind layers of manipulation, slowly rises in the silence between them.
Bucky’s fingers curl tighter around the back of your neck, his touch deceptively soft. The dark gleam in his eyes says everything that words can’t. You’re finally theirs. The power, the rush of having you in their control, it’s almost intoxicating. But even now, when the most delicate part of their plan is complete, he can’t help but remember the meticulous preparations that had gone into this moment.
Steve is still close to you, his arm draped around your waist, his fingers moving gently up and down your arm in a soothing, possessive gesture. His smile is warm, patient, and reassuring, remaining on his face. It’s always been about the long game for Steve. They needed to win your trust first, break you down piece by piece. And it’s been slow. Too slow, maybe. But in the end, they always knew they’d have you.
What you don’t know, what you’ll never know, are the dark truths that have led them to this point.
-
Steve’s eyes glint with something darker, something sharper as he watches you, the one they’ve spent so long breaking down. You lean into him, hair brushing his shoulder. He could almost feel the weight of the years they’ve spent hiding their true intentions, every step of the plan coming to fruition. But in this moment, the only thing that matters is that you’re finally his.
Ours.
He thinks of the syringe hidden away in the drawer, tucked beneath a pile of medical equipment. The tranquilizer, strong enough to put even the most stubborn of minds to sleep, had been a backup. A backup they’d needed far too many times in the past. Every time you’d resisted. Every time you’d tried to break free from them. The memories you couldn’t keep, erased and rewritten. It had taken months to break you down. The endless resets, the subtle manipulation of your memories, it had all been worth it.
He thinks of the old HYDRA tech they’d found buried in the basement of the abandoned facility. They’d salvaged it, repurposed it for their own needs. It was the ultimate insurance policy. A device that would wipe your memories clean, start over again, give them the chance to erase everything and make you theirs all over again. They’d already used it once when you’d tried to escape. It had worked, just as they’d known it would.
And the faked photos. Oh, all the faked things they’d planted around the house and in your mind, subtle distortions of the past. You had thought they were real memories, but they were simply moments they’d manufactured from nothing. Childhood photos, moments that never happened. But you didn’t know. You never would. And now, as you lean into him, trusting him as if he’s the one person who truly cares about you, Steve can’t help but savor the sweetness of your submission.
Meanwhile, Bucky watches you, his fingers gently stroking the side of your face. He’s careful, almost tender, as if he’s not the one who had quietly orchestrated the destruction of everything you once knew. His eyes drift to the scarred corner of the room where they’d had their first confrontation, the first moment of resistance. He can still see the look in your eyes, the defiance, the unwillingness to bend. That’s when he’d first known they’d need to go further than they had before.
Bucky has always been the one to deal with the physical side of things. He’s the one who uses the needles when necessary, the one who watches as memories are erased and rewritten. He doesn’t mind. He never has. His past is just as twisted, just as broken, and he knows that the only way to keep someone is to make them forget everything they thought they knew. Make them bend to his will. Make them need him.
And so he did. The needles, the tech. He’d been the one to use the memory-wiping tech when you tried to break away, your mind racing with escape plans and a hope you hadn’t even known you were capable of. They couldn’t have you escaping again. No. You belonged to them. You would be made to understand that with time.
You don’t remember the screams, the pain. You don’t remember when they had locked you in that cold room and kept you there for days, only feeding you enough to keep you alive. You never remember the real consequences of those escapes. It’s for the best you didn’t.
Together, they had faked everything. The photos, the false memories, the false story, all crafted a perfect illusion of the past. Bucky had been the one to suggest it, to suggest that they give you a history. Let you believe in something. You were fragile after all, even with all the strength you had in you, and you needed the comfort of false hope to hold on to. It had been easy to implant those photos, to whisper lies of childhood friends and tender moments, and you had accepted them, like a child accepts the world their parents give them. You believed.
Now, you’re looking at them, unaware of the depths of their lies. Of how they’ve woven a prison out of every word, every touch. They’re building something permanent within you, and you can’t see it yet.
But you will. Eventually, you’ll understand. And when you do, you’ll want it. You’ll want them. They’ve worked too hard for you to slip away. You’ve already lost. And the more you lose yourself in them, the more you forget, the more they can control you.
That’s the way it always goes.
Bucky glances at Steve, catching the gleam of satisfaction in his eyes. They’re in this together. Always have been. You’re theirs now.
And neither of them is letting go.
