-Â live in either a big city or a quaint little town in the countryside, there is no in between - sending pressed flowers,newspaper scraps of recent events or blackout poetry on ripped out book pages with letters -hoarding all the small things and letters and keeping them in your satchel to read in the library you work at -waiting in anticipation for the next letter and getting a bit too excited when it arrives
I wrote a letter to my uni friend today. Along with it, I sent her some homemade star confetti, a list of music and films I was enjoying (she shared her playlist with me first and I thought it was a cute idea), and a handwritten copy of my favourite Brecht poem, since we met each other in German class. I hope she likes them as much as I do.
