OH MY GOD. PHYSICAL THERIANS ARE VALID. this shouldn't be discourse. if you are a physical anything, you are valid. I'm so sick and tired of the mainstream resources available saying it's all nonphysical or it's only okay if you "recognize your human body"
my body has never fucking been human and it never ever will be. for some, they do have a human body or partially do!!! and many of us don't as well!!!!
I am physically and biologically a ringtail and have never ever been human in literally any way. sure my sapience is higher but does that mean anything? NO I'm so frustrated and upset

Physical Therians exist and are a part of our community.
Therians who are unaware of their humanity exist and are part of our community
Therians with disabilities exist and are a part of our community
Therianthropy is not voluntary, it is not about gear, it is not something you choose to participate in or leave (although you do not have to interact with the community)
There is a wide spectrum of Therians out there; discrediting any of them is extremely rude. Therians are Therians as long as they understand what that label is and identify with it.
Stop saying therianthropy is strictly spiritual/past lives, that it is strictly non-physical, or that all therians are aware of their humanity (esp. if you say it's at all times)
to all the "cute" animals out there who might need to hear this

you are brave
you are powerful
you are terrifying
your teeth are sharp
your claws are strong
humans fear you
others cower from you
but most importantly, you are seen and heard. You are more than just looking aesthetically nice, more than what others say about you.
