One of Rick's mistakes in writing Piper x Jason is that Piper didn't ask every 3 days if Jason was gay. I can clearly see her doing that.
Piper: Are you sure you're not gay?
Jason: I'm sure of it Pipes
Piper: hmph
Piper: You know, I'm not homophobic or anything like that so you can tell me if you're gay
