I am Imtithal from northern Gaza. I live in very difficult conditions because of the war and I struggle to provide basic necessities. I was displaced with my children 17 times in search of a safe place. There is no safe place. We suffer from a shortage of water, food, medicine and milk. Because of the famine war that we have been going through for 10 months, I need your support so that we can survive. Even if the support is simple, it helps my family a lot. So, me and my family are in a dark place right now. My mother just broke down at the table today because of financial problems and it just hurts me seeing her like this. She currently has three businesses that aren't going so well and we're just ashamed of asking other family members for help because we've asked enough. She doesn't want to break their trust because they helped fund the business but no profit is coming out yet.

the news of hospitals being bombed, children being massacred, people dying from the cold, and the famine spreading in gaza does not seem enough to grab attention or make people care.

what new tragedy needs to befall gaza for you to start talking about it? the occupation kills a child every few minutes. people are cold and are starving. refugee camps are being bombed with bombs that can level city blocks.

this all happens because of all of us. we are complicit in this genocide because our governments use the taxes we pay to send weapons to the occupation. weapons that are used to kill children and impose a blockade that is starving 2 million people.

the very fact that we're still going about our days when all of this is going on breaks my heart. especially because we have failed to stop our governments from using our money to arm israel.

Why is no one talking to me? No one checks on my family anymore. Are we no longer important, the six of us?! When will I find someone to care about us? Will it be when we are bombed or dead?

The people here helped me, and the Tumblr community is wonderful. I love you all.

But no one wants to check on my family anymore. I have four children who live every day in fear, with bombings and death, in a place without sanitation, filled with epidemics and diseases. Even food is now just canned goods. Is a child supposed to live their life here without any sweets or treats?

Are we dead?! Is that why no one answers or asks about us? Or has the world's conscience died, so they don’t think about us or inquire about us?

I created a post telling our story in black and white because my family and I are starting to lose hope. Perhaps someone will look at the pictures and read the story, realizing that this family is on the brink of becoming a memory.

My children, my wife, and I read your comments and your words, and the messages you send. Why have you stopped? No one is standing with us. You know, even internet and electricity here are hard to come by, and we walk a long way to reach a place just to tell you that we are still alive here in Gaza.

We hoped someone would fight with us, try to raise our voice to the world, send our campaign to friends, or even try to adopt our cause and reach out to people, asking them to write and share our story.
