Villains: Prankster (Jonathan Lincoln)
Jonathan was born into a wealthy family that owned a very successful toy company. Despite his parents loving children, they were rarely ever around to give their son any attention. Starved for attention, Jonathan started to pull large scale pranks at his school. He didnât do stupid whoopee cushions, though. He instead took all of the books in the library and hung them from the ceiling, and put dissected frogs into the gelatin salad at the parent-teacher banquet. During his time as the school clown, Jonathan slowly began to grow mentally unstable, as he constantly tried to get bigger and better with his âperformance artâ. When the day came for the schoolâs science fair, Jonathan snuck into the school the night before and tampered with the studentâs inventions. Everything went according to plan, until it came to the unlimited energy device created by the schoolâs prodigy student. He didnât completely understand what he was tampering with, and he accidentally caused it to explode when it was being demonstrated, killing 20 people and setting fire to the auditorium. He was then sent to a mental institution and was promptly disowned by his parents. While in the institution, Jonathan fell into a catatonic state because he was so bored. During a blackout two years later, Jonathan broke out of the asylum thanks to the power outage, and the first thing he did was return home and burn his familyâs house down while leaving his parents tied up in the basement. He then went to their toy factory and stole a massive amount of their toys, reverse-engineering them into deadly weapons. Having been inspired by seeing superheroes and supervillains in the outside world, he decided to become a member of this new wave of villains. Directly after the blackout crisis was solved, Prankster made himself known to the citizens of Harking City by embarking on a spree of comedic crime. He robbed a bank and replaced all of the money with Monopoly money, hurled a 50 ft gumball at a candy factory, and switched around all of the street signs. Having shown off his cunning nature, he was approached by Illusionist and asked to join his supervillain team W.A.R, which he gladly accepted.
Superman: Childish Things - Cast
Winslow & Mary Schott used to be the happiest toy makers in Britain, and were even the heads of their own company: Schott Toys. Winslow himself was a mechanical genius, as many of the toys he designed were extremely advanced twists on older concepts, such as the Smart Teddy. Winslow also had a strong love of children, and was essentially a big child himself. Unfortunately, all happy days come to an end. After Mary was killed in a car crash, Winslow signed on with a big corporation in order to bring happiness to children all over the world. Unfortunately, that company turned out to be a subsidiary of Lexcorp, who secretly sold Schott's advanced toy designs to weapons manufacturers. Heartbroken & enraged when he found out, an already mentally unwell Winslow snapped. In revenge, he mailed a booby trapped teddy bear to the executive who cheated him. When he turned it on, the bear exploded, killing him instantly. Winslow then moved to Metropolis in order to get revenge on the head of the corporation: Lex Luthor. Unfortunately, Superman had to intervene. After first being captured, Winslow befriends another Superman villain, Oswald Loomis: The Prankster. Forming a partnership, the two break out of prison in order to kill Lex Luthor while distracting the Man Of Steel.
