Treyarch is doing this on purpose because they know if he ever genuinely smiled, it would be so wholesome and pure that we would only focus on that instead of the storyline.

I find it a little concerning that we haven't ever seen Primis Takeo smile, apart from the most recent cutscene, in any game, cutscene, or anything. Like, LET MY BOI BE HAPPY, TREYARCH! XD -MysteryoftheShockwave
