“And There Sat the Black Cat” 8x10, prisma color pencils and illustration board.

For my studio course this semester I had to make two series of three drawings. For my second series, I chose to draw humanized characters from Edgar Allen Poe works.

This is the last piece, an attempt at depicting Pluto, the black cat from The Black Cat!

“And the Raven Spoke ‘Nevermore’” 8x10, prisma color pencils and illustration board.

For my studio course this semester I had to make two series of three drawings. For my second series, I chose to draw humanized characters from Edgar Allen Poe works.

This is the second work, and it’s meant to be a depiction of the Raven from The Raven/Nevermore.
