A/n: So like this isn't the best but oh well, kinda short. I got the poem at the end from K. Towne Jr. He has some pretty good poems nyway enjoy n stuff (I may do a pt 3)

POV: Deuces confession.

“Y/n, the girl is you.”

Deuce watched as Y/n stood there, as if temporarily placed in a state of shock.

“What?” Y/n breathed, her face one of bewilderment.

“The girl I’m in love with.. its you Y/n.” Deuce repeated.

“No, I-I know that but, what? Deuce…” Y/n began but Deuce cut her off before she could say anything.

“I know I shouldn’t have fallen for you Y/n. But I did and before I did I didn’t know how much love could hurt, particularly when you know the person you’ve fallen for doesn’t love you back.”

“Deuce… I do love you; I have for a while now and it is like a knife to my heart, twisting and turning deeper into my chest every time I have to see you and knowing that we aren’t together.” Y/n monologed, gazing into his eyes.

“You do?”

“I do but…” “You’re with Porter.” Deuce finished for her.

“Yeah…” She looked down at her feet before looking up and adding “You do have my heart though.”

“But I can’t have the whole of you?”

“Unfortunately, no, not under our circumstances.” Y/n sighed, once again looking down at her feet but looking at him through her eyelashes.

“Well then, I shall wait for those circumstances to be changed, no matter how long it takes.” Deuce spoke, slowly turning around and walking away, leaving Y/n standing there, regretting not following her heart.

She glanced down and saw a small note on the ground, she opened it up and read.

‘When I look for perfect, Perfect is all I see, because when I look for perfect, It is you staring back at me.’
