Trying to find a rain world post showing the initial concept art of vultures on a white background and I can't find it anywhere
They look all loopy and there's cool perspectives and their wings don't look like wings as much as limbs with flesh tendrils attached and I just want to use it as a reference :'(
Has anyone ever tried to use the find ID mod to get the numbers for Artificers pups so we can spawn them?
Got an idea for an Artificer redemption AU... It gets pretty dark. I feel like a lot of people forget that slugcats and the ancients aren't the only organic creatures that go through unending cycles...
Some interactions between Artificer, Survivor and Monk!
The surprise adoption of these strange "pups" went pretty smoothly in Artificer's eyes, but for the almost completely mature siblings... It was a confusing time.
My Arti is very large, almost double the size of average scugs! Necessary for taking down prey. The vanilla siblings on the other hand are still adolescents, and won't grow past the height of her chest.
(Haven't played the full game yet, still haven't gotten to sky islands so please don't spoil the game.)
So I decided to go back to Moon after I got the ability to understand speech, and I don't know how to get back to The Wall from here.
Is there a way to climb back up the wall from the starting area if I go back through the citadel or do I have to go back to 5 pebbles? I don't wanna go back there man, I'm pretty sure he'll kick my ass if he sees me again-

I'm not against fanon but I think "scavengers are ruled by strength and the chieftain gets its title through being the strongest" is a misunderstanding of what we see ingame
The chieftain passage is obtained by getting high enough reputation amongst them, and that reputation is obtained mainly by trade but also by fighting alongside them:
It is obtained by helping them out, by being a helpful ally;
If anything, their community is a meritocracy;
The chieftain we fight as artificer could've probably been the one to open metropolis for all of them, given that they have a citizenship drone, which would mean it effectively contributed this whole city of resources to the community, that gotta be worth at least like, a hundred pearls dude;
Stronger individuals have more capability to contribute more, so an overlap is prone to happen;
But if you're a hindrance to them, you'll lose reputation and no longer be fit of chieftain;
Artificer cannot get the chieftain passage;
The scavengers will never acknowledge her;
Even when defeating their chieftain, they attack artificer regardless; what we see after the ending is not scavengers being subservient, is them being scared, understanding they can't bring her down: you're not king of the lizards for sporting a vulture mask, you're just proving yourself to be too much of a threat
Now, I might just be stating the obvious with all this, but just wanted to put it out here

After about a year since I made the original drawing, I found it in my files today. I've decided to remake it and share it with every lovely person on here. Some Moon and Pebbles <3
In the depths of an old city, atop the corpse of a god long since fallen, many buildings still stand as remnants of what was once there. Lights still pulse with energy, illuminating displays of shattered glass and rotting products. Many of the rooms that were once shops or homes have been stripped of their life and then their value, now left to collect dust. Those who choose to wander into the labyrinth-like metropolis may never find their way out.
So, I've been trying to flesh out more of the lore around my TSPUD/rain world au (I really need to figure out a name for this) through art, but I'm thinking about just dropping a bunch of text posts to those who'll listen. I'm going to start counting all these guys as ocs since they cut SOOO far away from TSP. But anyways! The Restless and The Curious out and exploring an ancient city! Hopefully I'll get some more posts out with these guys soon, because it's SUPER fun to do these backgrounds.
Another iterator made by yours truly! Her nickname is Moth and the outfit is DEFINITELY going to be redesigned in the future, but for now she has a horrid little dress <3 Her can is completely overgrown with plant life and many of the creatures have taken on fungal parasites, including some of her very own overseers. Her puppet is completely blind, so she relies heavily on her overseers and her own hearing to react to her surroundings. She's open for asks as well!
Took some time to figure out how to draw clothes! Now we've got some updated designs for my boy Tiers :] The Rot design isn't canon and most likely never will be, but I thought it'd be fun to draw :3
i've been trying to replicate this little doodle of slugpup(baby) stanley for an hour but the world will not let me recreate it. its so upsetting.. i love this creature
what is Tiers and Stanley's relationship like? also ur art is so nice!!
Tiers created Stanley as a test subject to learn about how certain creatures would react to a genetically modified animal. They are close friends.

Some Iterator Info!
Due to Tiers' large antenna/antler size, it is nearly impossible for him to move them. Since he lacks that form of expression, the ancients in turn allowed more flexibility in his joints and the ability to move more of his face than most iterators. Although it doesn't serve a function when dealing with his actual work, it can be helpful when reducing stress and the flexibility allows easier repairs.
i've had a moment (2 painful awful hours of a headache) of pondering over these fucking things like a month ago n yanno what i'll just Put It Here. i am solidly certain of my vibe checks on dashing 45% </3
