Why Raine and Eda grew apart?

I mean they used to go along so well and clearly liked each other, so I wouldn’t say they naturally lost contact. But at the same time it probably wasn’t an disagreement or fight that make them stop seeing each other because they were very casual when they reunited and still like each other.

So why didn’t they just stayed friends all this time ???

M'kay so I actually really like how Dana didn't confirm whether or not Eda and Raine got married, because she's right: A couple doesn't have to be married to prove their love to each other. It's really nice representation. And props to Raine's va for suggesting that.
