Deservedly smug because he’s quite talented in his field.
Under cut things!
He’s a hybrid, with a drake mother and raptor father and the only successful egg in the clutch. Giving him his long figure and odd toes. And back issues. He can walk on all fours, but he prefers to have his hands free.
His tattoos were primarily done by him, as well as his father along his back.
Illustrated here is an Ornate hawk-eagle. Just trying some stuff out with watercolor and gel pens
Was needing dino feet practice - ended up with boba carnage.
Probably not the most accurate depictions. Much thanks to The Isle (game) for great references.🦕 And @kartavacante for showing me her feet.
As promised: Some white tailed kite studies in gouache! I was gonna clean up with a red background but I'm lazy so we're goin naturalistic.

I love The Amber Collection, the dinosaurs (and other Mesozoic animals) in particular. Even though the line is plagued with strange design decisions, poor quality control, and general laziness... It’s still highly posable figures of some of my favorite designs from my favorite movie franchise. Also very happy that the super colossal T. rex scales perfectly with them, and that I can turn their palms inward to make them a bit more scientifically accurate.
8. Osprey (Pandion haliaetus)
Most times I look up and see a large bird flying, I assume it's either: a.) a Vulture b.) a Seagull Recently, I've been able to see that a large amount of these giants birds I see flying around water are actually Osprey! However, I prefer their cooler name: The Seahawk.
These guys are basically bad-ass versions of seagulls, and it's sick. I love their white feathers! They also have a HUGE wingspan. Easily one of my new favorite birds to see around!
There's even a couple of protected nests near me, so I might update from time to time. Here's the most recent photo I've taken, which I assume is an angry momma waiting for her husband to bring home dinner.
