So I just finished reading the Once apon a broken heart series and decided to go to the Ao3 tag cuz I am DESPERATE for more content and.

WHY ARE THERE NO RAREPAIRS??? HELLO???

Like ok I have nothing against Eva/Jacks, but GOD where is the SPICE??? WHERE IS THE FLAVOUR??

Like theres not a SINGLE rarepair ship rhat I managed to find on the ENTIRETY of Ao3 which is suprising cuz usually I can find PLENTY

But there are so many ships that I can think of that frankly shouldn't even be rarepairs, I mean in ither fandoms best friends or childhood friends to lovers are collectively agreed apon to be awesome dynamics but we don't get any of that in the OUABH fandom??? Helloo????

Some ships that I think we should start making content of on Ao3 are:

Jacks/Castor (Childhood best friends to lovers)

Lala/Evangeline (Friends to best friends to lovers)

Literally any ship with Poison (I got needlessly attached to him in the first book and proceeded to cry when he didn't show up again)

Evangeline/Jacks/Apollo (Solve the love triangle with polyamory!! Also this'd be pretty toxic actually but yknow toxic ships can be good)

AND MORE

Now I know I'm being hipocritical, like not writing these fics myself despite being a creative person and all but one person is not enough to solve a crisis that is the lack of rarepairs

Yk something I appreciate about the Dandy's World fandom is how open it is to rarepairs.

Idk maybe I just haven't gone deep enough but from what I've seen as long as your ship is legal and not gross no one really has an issue.

It takes me back to my 2020 Danganronpa rarepair fanatic days (I was OBSESSED with Mikan x Akane), although the Danganronpa fandom was not as open to rarepairs.

Isha x Ren

I’m putting on my “Isha is alive” truther hat for this one. Over a decade after the battle in Piltover, Ren is working in a clinic in Zaun specializing in Chemtech prosthetics, to try and make sure she does more good than her father did. A young woman starts coming in for maintenance for both of her prosthetic arms. She’s mysterious, always wearing a strange helmet with a bunny mask, only talking to people through sign language. She starts taking Ren around the city, showing her places to go dancing, where to get messy but delicious food, and the calm quiet places where they can be alone. Ren begins to truly fall in love with Zaun, it’s people, and one person in particular. One night, while she’s showing Ren a place among the Firelight bugs, the girl writes a name on the wall “Isha” and removes her mask. Her face is completely covered in glowing blue scars, she seems very self-conscious of them, but Ren tells her she is utterly beautiful and kisses her
