Are there are SBG shifters out there?? Bc I feel like I’m the only one and literally have no one to talk to abt my dr since none of my friends read SBG
Spent 6 hours yesterday gathering and cleaning audio of my s/o to make a voice clone of them and now I'm back at it again today.
Could I do this with only a minute or so of sample data? Yes. Would I be satisfied if it wasn't absolutely perfect? No.
So here I am settling down for several more hours of work, just so I can hear Him say whatever I want in this reality.
If you never hear from me again it's because I finally ran the voice cloner and it turned out shit so I jumped into the sea.
I've never made a mood board before in my life so please go easy on me. I just saw everyone posting theirs and decided I wanted to give it a go... but not tell anyone what my DR is?
Maybe this will serve as a teaser and I'll eventually tell you guys more about this DR if there's interest. But for now I'm too shy so... no context mood board! 😅
Okay, because @moonwillow473737 (sorry, your account isn't showing up to tag) asked, and nobody ever asks me anything, I'm writing this step by step guide on one of the most famous (and misused) self-hypnosis techniques out there: The Betty Erickson Method, also known as the 54321 Method. It was invented by the wife of American psychologist and psychiatrist Milton Erickson and is widely renowned as one of the best, and easiest self hypnosis techniques out there.
Once we get into the steps, you might notice the technique sounds familiar to you, as many psychologists recommend a variation of it as a grounding technique, and some shifters have attempted to include it in their methods. HOWEVER, I will point out that most people are doing it wrong, so if you think you already know how it works, I invite you to read on anyway and check your technique.
The basic technique is pretty straightforward:
It's recommended that you have a plan for what you're going to do once you're hypnotised. Come up with your affirmations/suggestions ahead of time and repeat them to yourself a few times so you know you'll remember them when you're a dopey hypnotised mess.
Get into a comfortable position somewhere you can relax without being interrupted.
Keeping your head and body still, look around your room for 5 things you can see.
Repeat with 5 things you can hear.
Repeat with 5 things you can feel.
Then repeat steps 3-5 with 4 things you can see, hear and feel. Then 3, 2, and finally 1.
These are the most common ways I've seen people get this technique wrong before:
Bringing in extra senses
Taste and Smell are very difficult senses to work with, and trying to find MULTIPLE things you can taste at any one time is insane. They're great for enhancing a visualisation session, but they're not helpful here.
Not using repetition
The most common mistake I see is people going "5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can feel" and so on, rather than the above method. Focusing on each sense multiple times is important, for multiple reasons:
It makes the technique last longer, giving your mind time to settle into the rhythm.
It slowly narrows in your focus. You start out being aware of 5 things for each sense, then 4, then 3 and so on, until you've phased them all out and are focused inwards.
Repetitive tasks lull your brain into a sleepy state, which is what we want when we're working with hypnotic suggestions.
The more specific you can make the things you're noticing, the better. So here are some examples to help you.
Sight
Shadows on the wall
Beams of light coming through the window
The movement of a fan blade
Leaves moving in the breeze
Hearing
Your breath leaving your lungs
The Inner Sound - often manifests as a high pitched ringing that only appears when you relax or try to meditate. (Note: This is NOT tinnitus. Tinnitus is present at all times, often very difficult to ignore, and does not go away as soon as you stop paying attention to it.)
Your bedroom fan, if you have one
The breeze
Cars going past on the street
Birds singing
Touch
The weight of your blanket
The texture of your mattress
The sensation of your chest moving as you breathe
Air moving around your room
The feeling of your clothes on your skin
The weight of your glasses on your face (if you're wearing any)
I had a few more things I was going to say but, honestly, this is plenty. If it doesn't work the first time, try again. If you think you can't do it because you have ADHD - you're wrong, because I have clinically diagnosed, combination type ADHD and I can do it.
Now, if you'll excuse me, me and my boyfriend are going to the zoo tomorrow and it took me 90 damn minutes to write this when it was supposed to be quick and now it's nearly midnight. Good luck and good night.
Petition to change the shifting lexicon
This! Oh my god this!
I'm so goddamn excited to be able to eat whatever food I want and not worry about it making me sick.
I'm finally gonna be able to try new things!!!!!!!!!!!
shifting so i dont have to deal with my ibs and allergies anymore 🤩🤩🤩
One of my shifting pet peeves is that so many people call guided meditations, soundscapes and subliminal hypnosis videos by the same name. Like if it's any kind of shifting video whatsoever it's a "subliminal" now, no matter the contents. 🙄

Does anyone else have any combined DRs? For example:
One of my DRs is the Guild Hunter universe because the idea of angels and vampires running around as part of normal everyday modern life sounds awesome. However, I don't want to be a member of the hunters' guild, I just want to be in that world so I can romance an angel or a vampire. So I had to come up with a different job for myself.
Since the angels are the upper tier of society that most normal people don't interact with, I figured that I needed to do something that would make them interested in me or make me valuable to them. There's a lot of reference throughout the series to how much angels are fascinated by human artists (because their work shows the world in a way only a mortal's fleeting time on Earth could) so I decided to make this also my fame DR.
I did actually consider making it my streamer DR for a while but now I'm pretty settled on being a singer. I was thinking of going for a very bluesy lounge singer vibe, but then again... I also really love Dark Pop.
Anyway, tell me what outside the box things you've planned for your DRs!
There have been some downright rude posts on here for a while now that I think started out as people trying to show "tough love" a la personal trainers, but it's incredibly irritating. If you have nothing constructive to say about shifting then just stick to memes/mood boards/storytimes.
Next person who swears at me over the fact I haven't shifted or tells me I'm an idiot for saying it, I'm going to shift to a reality where I have homing teleportation, warp to their location and smack them six ways to Sunday.
I know everyone likes to think that shitblr is significantly better than shiftok but it's slowly starting to become the same with the recycled advice and judgmental mindsets. Every single advice post is the exact same with the exact same rude "it's your fault you haven't shifted" vibe to it. Which, especially for mentally ill and neurodivergent people is extremely harmful and does nothing but make them feel worthless and like they'll never shift. It's not difficult to be kind, and if it is for you then don't make content that people will listen to.
Because shifting is my destiny
Another Facebook find shamelessly appropriated to my shifting blog.
~*~*~ Paraphrased entry from my diary because I have no-one to talk to about this stuff and I'm really excited ~*~*~
A few weeks ago I remembered a dream I had back in November 2023. It was about someone I'm interested in romantically in one of my DRs, and it ended with him saying the words, "You need to get stronger, little one." In the context of the dream and my shifting journey in general, I took it to mean I wasn't ready to shift and meet him yet, that I had more work to do.
Fast forward a year and I'd kind of forgotten about it. When I did remember it again, I also remembered the things I'd been testing out around that time and realised I'd kind of gotten off track a bit. I also realised I hadn't dreamed about him in a year, even though I used to dream about him a lot, for years and years.
So I decided to try and influence my subconscious with this thought: "When I'm getting close to shifting, I'll dream about him again and in the dream [some specific details relating to past dreams that will happen differently this time]." Well, the dream didn't happen that night as I'd hoped it would. In fact it's been weeks, so long I'd forgotten I'd even set that affirmation. Until last night.
Last night I dreamed about him again, and all the details I specified were there. In fact it was even better than what I'd asked for. So, according to my subconscious: shit's imminent. I can't wait.
Found this on Facebook. The shifting coded posts are everywhere.
Did half of shiftblr block me or something? I swear my feed only has, like, four posts in it at any one time now.
All right, kids, this question has been on my mind for a long time after I noticed a trend in people's success stories, but now I'm hearing some very adamant opinions in the AP community and I'm curious to see if I'm right.
Experienced shifters: Shifting is not that hard. Just pick a goddamn DR and stick to it. Me:
This morning I realised I was still tired and could go back to sleep and try something. I'm not sure why, but for some reason I picked doing SSILD cycles. Well they sure worked. I had so many lucid dreams in a row, as well as another false awakening. If I could just get better at stabilising the dream I could be walking through portals every night.
Last night I actually managed to induce faint vibrations. And that was AFTER I successfully hypnotised myself on my own with no guided audio in about 30 seconds. (Look up the Betty Erickson technique if you want to try it too. A few popular shifting methods are actually misinterpretations of that hypnosis induction.)
---
For some reason I just keep getting better at everything but shifting. Oh well, I'm choosing to look on the positive side - the more skills I learn, the closer I get to shifting regardless.
Not feeling great today but another quick update. No shifting yet, but all but one of my last 7 dream journal entries were some level of lucid. At the moment I'm playing around with meditating on the inner sound before bed.
Okay I've been missing for a bit because I was trying something new that I saw on YouTube.
My OG plan died because I got bored of the DR I was shifting to and couldn't make myself keep daydreaming about it. But then I was on the Astral Projection subreddit and saw people talking about this one really helpful community member's YouTube channel. I decided to check it out and saw he had a video basically centred around "last ditch efforts to help you astral project". And since I know some people have managed to shift through astral projection, I've been trying it for the last three days.
What I basically did was ground myself. And no, I don't mean I molested every cushion in my living room or tried to make myself smell vanilla, I mean I treated myself like a naughty child and took away everything I considered fun and stimulating except for the knitting projects I'm working on. Every time I got frustrated or wanted to take a break and eat a nice snack or watch some TV I would tell myself, "Too bad. No snacks until you shift. No TV until you shift."
And let me tell you, literally day one I got results. After one trip to the supermarket with my boyfriend lamenting the fact I couldn't buy donuts or macarons or any of the nice things I was walking past, I went to sleep that night and had my first ever false awakening. Literally I have never had one in my life before, I try this and BAM!
But it was so much more than that.
I was struggling to sleep, so I put on an Alunir video because I find her voice really relaxing and I figured that even if I didn't shift from it I'd still fall asleep. I had random dreams for a bit that I don't remember, but then I was suddenly lying in my childhood bed at my parents' old house. As I was looking around the room I heard Alunir's voice still playing through my sleep mask and that made me realise I was dreaming.
Obviously as soon as I realised that I closed my eyes in the dream and tried to follow along with the prompts and visualise my DR, but everything started to shake and I heard growling and I got scared enough to wake up. Which is incredibly annoying because if you know anything about astral projection THOSE ARE TWO REALLY COMMON THINGS THAT HAPPEN TO PEOPLE RIGHT BEFORE THEY LEAVE THEIR BODY.
So I'm super mad that I got too scared and woke myself up, but at the same time I'm really excited because I think that's the most progress I've had in a long long time.
I didn't have anymore progress last night but it was really hot and I struggled to sleep. We just had a storm and things have cooled down a bit so I'm hoping tonight will be better. Wish me luck!!
---
Obviously because of this method I've mostly been on a social media ban but I figured I'd give a quick update to keep the blog active.
I like how more people liked my update post than the original instructions on what I was actually doing 🤷♀️
So it's actually been surprisingly easy to remember to practise throughout the day. I think it might be because lately I keep noticing a lot of angel numbers, so because I knew I was already checking the clock a lot I told myself, "Every time I look at the time I'll remember to say, 'I shifted!' and do my visualising."
The visualisations have NOT been clear at all, but I'm hoping that telling myself a little story about what I'm up to right now in my DR and just thinking about the fun and frustrations of everyday life will be enough to get my subconscious working on the problem. I've definitely thought more about my DR in a single day than I have probably ever.
Recently while doing a tarot reading for myself about my shifting journey, I drew a card that said I needed to "embrace a beginner mindset". I've been thinking a lot about what that means, and as a results I've begun the process of starting my shifting journey from scratch. Coincidentally, I’ve also seen a lot of posts from others about going back to that baby shifter feeling, when it's all about being IN your DR not GETTING TO your DR; thinking about the end result, not the way of getting there.
In that vein, today I saw a YouTube video about training your brain to lucid dream after years of failure, and re-capturing the feeling of excitement around it. I’ve decided I'm going to apply the techniques outlined there to shifting.
These were the main points:
List out all the things you're excited to do in a lucid dream and highlight your top three
Think throughout the day, “This is a dream” and then imagine if this was a dream, what you would do to take control and achieve one of your top three things.
Keep lucid dreaming at the forefront of your mind throughout the day
There were other points too, but these are the ones I think are most applicable to shifting. So from now on I'm going to focus on one DR, and start keeping that at the front of my mind and think about all the things I'm excited to do while shifting there.
I’ve already started by writing the list of 20 things and highlighted my top three (let me know if you want to see a follow-up post with my list). From here, throughout the day, rather than tell myself I’m dreaming, I’m going to go, “Oh, I’ve shifted!” and then imagine that instead of being wherever I am, that I’m currently experiencing something from that list. Preferably the top three, but it was very hard to pick just three things so I don’t see why I can’t expand it to more. The idea was to increase my desire to go to/excitement over that DR anyway, and that has definitely happened.
I’ve been thinking for a while that the reason some people might be having more success than me, is that for a very long time now I’ve found it really hard to daydream. I don’t know why, given I used to do it every night to help me sleep, but for years now it’s like I keep stopping myself, like it's silly or something. Being a writer I often get too caught up in what’s realistic or a good plot/scene rather than just enjoying the process, so I can absolutely see how I could get in my own way like that.
My hope is that giving myself these parameters like, “Imagine you’re actually having lunch in [x] right now!” or “Imagine what it would be like to learn [y]!” will help make daydreaming more achievable. Rather than imagining bigger stories, I’m just living through those tiny everyday moments. And from what I’ve heard from some of the bigger experienced shifters, imagining those everyday moments can really help your subconscious start to see your DR as a real place rather than a fantasy.
At the very least I’m going to try and do it every day for a week. Given I find it really hard to build habits, I’m not expecting to remember to do this very often in the first few days, so I’ll definitely be extending the experiment to up to three weeks if necessary.
Anyway, thanks for reading my first post and another Big Brave Step for me into the shifting community after two years of mostly lurking. Please send love and encouragement so I can do more of these. I'd definitely be down to blog how the experiment goes from day to day, or answer asks about my DRs (I have so many 😅).
One thing that I’ve seen is a lot of ppl love putting limits on themselves regarding what they are and ‘aren’t’ capable of. What they can and can’t do. How exactly does putting yourself in a box of limiting beliefs help you?
I’m actually so in love with her, everything reminds me of her am I going insane? Probably yeah and I’m completely okay with that!!!!!!!! 🙂↕️🙂↕️👩🏼❤️💋👩🏽
Don't get your head in those doubts like, 'Oh, what if I can't shift?' That's not possible. You were chosen to know about shifting for a REASON. There are 8.2 BILLION people in this world. Think about it. 8 BILLION people.
Now, how do you feel? Do you feel special? GOOD. Keep feeling that way. Some of you, not all of you, read these posts on Tumblr but don't really READ them.
'Oh, I'm the creator of my universe.' Yes, but do you really UNDERSTAND that? I feel like for some of you, it's like you're in front of a teacher, and each word just goes in one ear and out the other. Now, shifting isn't this ELABORATE and majestic thing that needs to be taught in a specific way. It's not like driving, okay? There are no rules, no directions, just YOU. Understand that it's just YOU.
That drink in your hand? You created that. The computer or phone you're reading this on? You created that. Everything in this world YOU created.
You are doing everything right. You know what I mean.
You will wake up in your DR. Those sleep methods you're doing? They're working perfectly. You aren't just 'close,' you are THERE. You have always been there, since the beginning of whatever. No need to think you are close, because you are there.
'Oh, but what if I don't shift today?' Shifting isn't something that needs to be rushed. Everything will happen eventually. You have shifted before; you know this. You know you need to just let go and let it happen. Don't overcomplicate it. Listen to yourself. Do you know how stupid you sound? Thousands of people have shifted to their DRs, and somehow you can't? That's just rubbish.
'Oh, what if that shift was just a dream?' What dream feels so real that you can feel the bedsheets? What dream looks like your desired reality so perfectly it has everything, even the rings and jewelry your aunt placed there on the dresser? Why did you get up and look in the mirror and see yourself perfectly and clearly? That was REAL. You shifted. Do not doubt yourself.
'But what if shifting is one elaborate joke?' Seriously? That's one of your doubts? People spend months, YEARS, shifting, and you think people are JOKING? You have spent 5 YEARS knowing about shifting and 2 or 3 actively shifting, and you still think it's a joke? YOU have to be joking with those doubts. This isn't like that one movie people suddenly made up on TikTok and started creating a plot, characters, settings, etc.; this is something real. People have been doing this even before you were born. Now, doesn't that doubt sound silly?
Now, you don't have to be perfect. Listen, people have shifted with doubts. But listen here, if you assume it is true, it is true. 'Oh, he's so in love with me.' Yeah, he is! 'Oh, my cat's super distant. Yeah, they are. Your subconscious isn't this mystical entity trying to work against you. It's like a mirror; if you look in that mirror and say, 'I can't shift,' then your subconscious repeats it. It has an IQ of 0. Like a little kid repeating every word and agreeing with your opinions. You tell that little kid, "Oh, I can shift! Everyone shifts." Then it repeats it; it agrees. That's how simple your subconscious is.
Now, what about intentions? Intentions aren't this super complicated ritual; they're just your thoughts. You don't have to write out your thoughts, burn the piece of paper, and bury the scraps in the ground. Just think. 'Oh, I set my intention to shift.' That's literally all you need to do. Your subconscious will look at you and shrug like, 'Oh okay. Let's shift!' And guess what? BOOM. You're in your DR. Simple. Literally so simple.
Now, some of you are like, "Oh, I did that! But I'm still in my CR." Look deep within yourself. Are you scared of the possibility you're going somewhere new? Or, do you expect to wake up in your CR again after doing your method? Really think about it and begin to change. Tell that subconscious that you don't expect to wake up in your CR, or tell it that you aren't scared; you're excited.
Now, as one of my favorite quotes says,
"You are a consciousness with a body, not a body with a consciousness."
Go shift. Go do your method, or just fall asleep and wake up in your DR. It's that simple. And every time you feel doubts, PERSIST. 'Oh, what if—' NOPE. I am going to shift.
You know about shifting for a reason. You can shift. It is INEVITABLE.
Now don't look at me all dumb; you know this. You've heard it a million times. Don't roll your eyes; THINK, and absorb this information.
Now go do whatever silly little thing you are going to do. But just know, you can shift. You WILL shift.

hi hi i gotta say i love the aesthetic of your blog!!
for your ask game, may we know about the stolen crown? 👑 from any of your drs!
👑 stolen crown . . . what is one of your secret strengths or powers, or do you have a secret identity? does anyone know about this, or is it an ability or skill you keep to yourself? do you ever plan on sharing this with the world, or do you hold it close to your heart?
A :: I consider myself pretty normal in my better CR, but the one dilemma I've been having for weeks is if I should tell my friends there I have shifted to that reality... Imagine your best friend (that you know is a shifter) tells you that you've shifted! Amazing, right? But where? And then they hesitantly tell you... here.
Don't get me wrong, we shift every second, so yes, I have technically shifted here as well, but is this my DR? No. But imagine that best friend telling you the reality we are in is their desired reality. It's just a bit... surprising.
But that isn't all of it. I have scripted 2 people in my DR that don't exist here; one of them is my lover bestfriend, Sol! Then, there's Liya, my other friend. Imagine that same shifter friend from before telling you that you didn't exist in their other reality. I'd be... shocked, to say the least. I'd be wondering about a lot of things... and I don't want any of that to affect my relationships. So, if I do tell them, I'd probably only mention that I've shifted there and nothing about my other reality. ^^; So, it's quite an intense dilemma I've been having recently. Plus, I really don't want to explain everything going on to people in a world that has none of these problems....
A:: Now, I haven't said much about this DR... due to procrastination and everything. But, in this DR, it's quite similar to an isekai. I do have memories of another life, and, uhm... It's a bit confusing to type out; hopefully, my words are satisfactory. But that's one of the things I will be keeping tightly closed to my heart in this DR.
Something secret that I didn't know until later on is that I am something called a 'spirit born.' Which, I am the only one of this 'race.' My existence merged with raw mana and the astral plane itself, causing me to be the purest manifestation of divine energy and magic.
Uhm, that's really all. I could've added my Naruto DR, but it's late and I'm getting tired ^^; Thank you for reading <3

[8-8:30 AM] The first thing in the morning is waking up... obviously. I usually wake up naturally around 8 to 8:30 AM, but I can wake up a bit earlier depending on whether I have other things in my schedule! I do give myself a bit of leeway on weekends or on breaks.
[8:30-8:35 AM] I generally take about 5 minutes to stretch or just wake myself up and get myself mentally ready for the day. I also use this time to journal and write down any dreams I have or goals for the day! Most of the time, I just do this on my phone, but I also have a separate journal/notebook that I also write in.
[8:35-8:50 AM] I only do this around 3-4 times a week on school days, but I do some light stretching/exercise! It's nothing much, just something to get my body moving. If I don't use this time to exercise, I'm usually just looking through Pinterest or something on my phone while getting coffee...
[8:50-9:20 AM] Shower/Skincare! Now I have 'normal' skin in my DR, so it's generally a bit easier to care for. (and because I scripted I get ZERO acne and anything like it... anyway.) I could do a whole post about my skincare routine if you'd like to see it! But for now, I'll keep it simple. If I exercise, I take a shower. If not, I just do my skincare! Also, make sure to brush your teeth before doing your skincare! Helps prevent acne around the mouth ^^
[9:20-9:35 AM] I usually just make something like overnight oats or have something made the night before and eat it in the morning. I just have something simple for breakfast. I'm not the biggest breakfast person. Usually, I just like to have some coffee or water for breakfast, but I like the extra energy boost it gives me throughout the day!
[9:35-9:55 AM] Now, on school days, I would use this time to get all of my stuff ready. Get dressed, maybe (maybe) put on some makeup, get my hair ready, pack my bag (which is usually packed the night before), and just make sure everything's ready for school! Our school starts at 10 AM, which is a LIFESAVER. It does end at 4:15 PM, but like... 10 AM is better than 7:30 AM. (We also only go 4 days a week.) School is only around a 15-minute walk from my house, so I get there on time! Other than that, it's just free time for me ^^; I usually do my dailies on Genshin, CRK, and Infinity Nikki, look through Pinterest, talk with friends, etc., etc. Sometimes I do go out, like to the nearest bakery, to the mall, Subway, well... basically anywhere I want!
That's my morning routine! Thank you so much for reading. <3 Hopefully it was satisfactory ^^;;

Idk if I’m doing this right but ☘️💭🦷
☘️ 𑅕 GOOD GRACES \ who’s the person you trust the most? is it a family member? friend? maybe not a person, but a pet?
A :: This is actually such a hard question! There are three contestants for such a highly sought-after spot! There's Danny, whom I've been friends with since 5th grade. Then, we have Liya (or Lisa if you want to use her real name), whom I've been friends with since kindergarten. And lastly, Sol. My love, the man whom I want to spend the rest of my life with. Honestly, Even after thinking really hard for a while I don't think I could chose between the three of them! They're all so important to me <3
💭 𑅕 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE \ what’s something you’ve always desperately wanted? something from a luxury brand? your childhood friend?
A :: I've always wanted someone to call 'husband.' It's all so cheesy and cliché, but little me just couldn't help but dream of being so close to someone that I'd say 'I love you' to, and not just in a family way! I've already decided a long time ago that I don't wish to have children, and if I ever did, I'd adopt. It's always been really hard for me to find someone I truly love, as I have to be super close to them, or I can't see them like that. I've always found others to be 'attractive' subjectively, but would I want to marry them or kiss them? No way! Well... that was until I met Sol. <3
🦷 𑅕 DON’T SMILE \ who in this reality can make you laugh even at the worst times? do they purposely try to get a giggle out of you? is it completely unintentional?
A :: Sol, 100%. We have such similar humor, it's insane. He can somehow sense when I'm even slightly down?? It's honestly weird, but not in a bad way! It's honestly helped me so much keeping my stress levels down. Other times, he does it completely unintentionally. He's just the silliest little guy <3
