Lets go with Part 3 of The Resume of The Beniko Order in The Sith Resurgence!

In part 2, i talked about both Aliana's Grandmother and Mother, but now lets talk about Aliana. How she became what she is in the fic? Well, lets say that Lily have a very different vision on how "Fixing" bad movies should go.

1-The Mother Killer

Last post i told about Tahleea working as a Slave Trafficker to have money and take care of her daughter. According to an old post of Lily, this was because Republic Money dont have value on Outer Rim (Because Prequels said so and somehow it remains the same in Sequels timeline), so she would need Hutt Money for living. But the consequences of doing so made her getting to do extreme things for her daughter. While doing these extreme things, however, she managed to have time to raise and love her daughter. When she noticed Aliana was Force Sensitive, she decided to train her to become a Sith, wich was sucessful because of Aliana being literally born on the Dark Side of The Force, a thing that came from Legends. During this training moment, Tahleea also trained teen Darth Talon, but this is a plot hole that never got fixed.

The moment where everything changed in Aliana's life was in her 14th birthday, where after leaving a job she asked her Mother to train closer to the Core, as they already had visited all worlds of Outer Rim. And because it was her birthday, Tahleea decided to do it. They went to the Corellian System, to train and explore. Ironically in this fic universe, Luke Jedi Academy was working around, and Luke Skywalker felt their presences, deciding to check-in.

And after seeing their Red Lightsabers, he knew they were Sith, so he attacked them without thinking twice.

Luke Skywalker however was not alone. No, he was with his Padawan Ben Solo, wich fought Aliana while Luke fought Tahleea.

The thing now about Luke in this fic is Lily claims Luke is not a good fighter neither a good lightsaber fighter, so Tahleea was better than him at everything, specially because both the fic and the wikia sells Tahleea as being the most powerful Sith Lord in Sequel Era. The fight however was not fair because she noticed that Ben was surprisingly strong for its age and extremely violent, also taller than Aliana, so even if Aliana was a better fighter he got the advantage in this. In fact, Ben was the main reason of Tahleea death because at some point in the fight Tahleea threw her lightsaber towards Ben to stop the fatal blow he was about to give to Aliana, and got herself disarmed and distracted, giving enough time to Luke just behead her swiftly.

After seeing this, Aliana screams in despair and gets hit in the shoulder by Ben lightsaber, falling down in the cliff they were fighting. She wakes up later, seeing that not only Luke took her mother lightsaber but he also burned her body in a cerimonial jedi pyre, leaving the planet afterwards. After seeing this, Aliana swears revenge on the Jedi and Luke Skywalker, and that is the moment according to the fic she gets her Sith Eyes.

2-Wandering 10 Years in the Space

After losing her mother, Aliana found her ship intact and met her family Droid 2V-R8, an Old Republic droid that is not only a 3000 years droid that still works after this long time but he also is the equivalent of Alfred to her.

But also, he is her Great Great Grandparent, as one of the members of the Beniko family, Darth Mecani, actually married him, but he never talked about it to any of them.

Living with 2V made her life after losing her mother slightly easier as Aliana, even being extremely good at anything related to the Sith, The Force and the history of the galaxy, was actually extremely bad at using machines, specially piloting her own ship. 2V did most of the job by taking control of machines around her, while Aliana somehow learned how to use the Force to give a boost to the Ship actual speed and resistance, making everytime she pilots her ship a cheat as she is not actually piloting it but using the Force to move it. But Aliana had to learn it alone.

After Tahleea death, Aliana spent 10 years around the Galaxy, mainly the Outer Rim as the New Republic influence was extremely weak in that region. However she did not hid herself from the galaxy but became a notorious figure to the point everyone knew her as a "Sith more cold blooded than Darth Vader", like Talon once compared her in the fic. Mostly of these 10 years are not revealed by Lily, but she said that she had 2 main Jobs during her lifetime: One being a Guard for the Zitta Bordello, an all female brothel, and the other one is working to her mother old boss Niima the Hutt, not as a slave trader anymore but on a mix of mercenary, smuggler and Bounty Hunter. However, this become a plot hole later mainly because of another part of Aliana life in these 10 years.

The part she becomes a hero somehow.

3-Hero of the Outer Rim... How?

Basically one of the biggest moments in the entire fanfic is when Aliana calls out a giant fleet to help the Resistance, claiming all members of the fleet come from planets she saved from opression and that they all decided to follow her. But not only this scene was made to disown Lando Calrissian from the history it was also made to show that Aliana was "Better at unifying the galaxy than everyone else".

But how she managed to do it?

Its implied in the timeline she made that not only she was by herself most of the time (Considering she got herself 71 booty calls during this said time), the first 4 years of her life were working with the Zitta Bordello and the other 6 years were doing lots of random stuff while working from the hutts. Lets also not forget that in 6 years she managed to become enemy of the hutts and free dozens of planets by herself while self-training and learning all by herself lots of random shit. Also she finished Talon training...

And they fucked at some point too but its ok, its Aliana, right?

Well, the fucking part may have some serious complications, mainly because of another controversy.

The SILK CONTROVERSY

4-Silk or Aliana? tw: Prostitution, Teenage Grooming mention

Silk is a character that its mentioned in the Sith Resurgence wikia, who apparently was a girl from Zitta Bordello known as to be one of the most popular girls who worked on there. But unfortunally, she disappeared, and even when Aliana Empire rose to power, she was unwilling to know about her whereabouts.

This however just wakes up more doubts specially about one thing: Silk disappeared around the same time Aliana entered in the fic timeline. This mistery also grows more in the beginning of "Scent of Engine Oil", a currently deleted and incomplete spin-off of Sith Resurgence made by Lily where in the beginning of the fic Rey recalld People on Zita Bordello calling Aliana by the name Silk, and Aliana avoiding these People by claiming she is not her. Rey dont care about this, as she doesnt wanna pressure Aliana into revealing secrets of her past, and the chapter goes onward. However, we must remember one thing.

Aliana worked in the Zita Bordello as a bouncer around her teen years. And Silk was a very required member of it. As Lily never really specified anything, we can only assume one thing...

Besides being a Bouncer, Aliana was a young sex worker.

That could explain outside of the main fic reasons why Aliana developed Depression and decided to take the drastic decision that would change her life forever.

It all started with the Sun.

5-ALIANA ALMOST THROWS HERSELF IN THE FUCKING SUN.

Around Aliana 24 years, her depression became worse, mixed with some undiagnosed health issues like autism and adhd. And because the New Republic, wich in this fic is represented as a greedy capitalism gouvernment like USA, keeps meds difficult to buy, Aliana is not fine. Her issues keeps getting worse, to the point People around the galaxy knows her as a very evil person, to the point that looking at her in a way she didnt like could cost your life. Besides, Aliana also got bad meetings with other Jedi Beside Luke, because in this fic Luke Jedi Academy managed to generate some Legends Stuff. However, Aliana killed all of them, specially those who she discovered were Jedi and didnt gave them the chance to defend themselves. In fact, at some point before Aliana felt Kylo Ren destroying the Jedi Academy, and she felt delight with it.

However, even the fall of her enemies didnt gave her peace. Aliana literally got Hunted all around the galaxy by People just because she was a Sith. No one likes them. Even though she tries to claim that she is not the same as those who caused all the pain the galaxy suffered, they wont believe her. When she try to claim that the Jedi and the Republic were using their influence to destroy a religion who did not bow to them, they didnt believed. When she tried to call herself a victim for everything that happened to her...

No.

One.

Believed.

Her.

Aliana got tired of it. Tired of everything. So she decided to do a thing: Throw herself and her ship into the sun of Jakku, consequentially destroying not only every single trace of herself but also all knowledge the members of her lineage gathered around the galaxy. However, when Aliana was about to finally get her peace, her ship broke because of a piece. Because of that single piece, Aliana had to land on Jakku.

And thats when the fanfic The Sith Resurgence starts.

So, lets go with part 2 of the resume of The Beniko Order in Sith resurgence

In the part before i talked about the origin of Beniko and their Curse, but now lets continue getting deeper on this star wars fanfic.

1-Darth Alora and The Clone Wars

Remembering what i said before about the Curse of the Force hating on Beniko clan, life was not easy for them, because their numbers were already small, but having the Force attempting to ruin your life all the time is basically a herculean task. The Beniko clan however managed to survive until the events of the prequel era, where we can talk about 2 sith that are referenced in the fic but were given more info outside of it.

The first one is Darth Safik, the greatgrandmother of Aliana, who was the Master and adoptive Mother of Darth Alora, who was Aliana's Grandmother. Safik and Alora lived normal lives, however Safik was killed by a Bounty Hunter, leaving Alora alone. The bounty Hunter is never specified or talked about by Lily, but knowing that she dislikes Mandalorians, i headcanon it was either Jango Fett, Cad Bane or Durge.

Mostly Jango because of personal spite

After that, Alora wanders around during the Clone Wars but eventually she went after the jedi after discovering Darth Sidious was a Sith Lord. However, they dismissed her and didnt cared about her warnings. So one day she invaded the Jedi Temple and copied at least 80% of all their archives. Alora then went hiding and decided to watch the Clone wars ending from afar, without getting involved. However, she eventually got found by Palpatine, who sent Darth Vader after her. After a long fight, Alora got killed by Vader, leaving behind her apprentice Darth Mayrik, also known as Tahleea Beniko.

Who swear revenge on Vader.

2-Darth Mayrik and the New Republic

After training by herself for years, Tahleea go after Vader and fights against him, almost winning until Starkiller (Yes, the events of Force Unleashed games are slightly canon in this fanfic, but lily never specified HOW MANY because in future Galen Marek becomes a senator who is on Aliana side) stopped her and made her retreat, eventually this failure making her give up on revenge and focusing on her being an ally from Rebellion while hiding her identity as a Sith Lord. Eventually, after the fall of the Empire, she joins the New Republic with an objective...

DECRIMINALIZE THE SITH

Tahleea believed that the Sith Creed got a bad reputation because of lots of Rotten Apples and the Jedi influence, and also believed that erasing the Sith history and regarding it as a Darkling Cult was erasure and historical genocide, so she tried using the New Republic to change the views of People about the Sith. However, it didnt ended well as even Mon Mothma, her friend, did not liked the sith neither saw the good side on preserving their history. So Tahleea decided to leave to the Outer Rim and as her ancestors did, not care about how route the Galaxy would go.

However before Tahleea left, she had a romance with a Senator from Dantooine named Yensin Tiralli, where their forbidden love generated the main character of this fanfic...

Aliana Beniko.

3-Today's Subject: Slavery

After Aliana was born, Tahleea realized that she needed money to raise her daughter well, so she went after a job. In Outer Rim you must be wary of what kind of job you want, specially if you want to be paid well. So the job she chose?

Slave Trafficking for the Hutt Cartels.

Yes, you read it right. Tahleea Beniko was a Slave Trafficker, but not the kind of capturing and enslaving ones. No no no she was just the one who drove the ship and took them to their places. Its not that bad, right?

That was a Lily excuse about People calling her out about it. But lets continue for the worst part about it.

Her job really paid her well, even if she disliked it and hated herself for doing what she did. However one day she "Lost" a slave in Jakku. A small Child who was sold by her parents.

Yes, in this fanfic that one ship we see in Rey's flashbacks is actually The Fury, the Ship used by The Beniko clan for at least 3.000 years, and is the one who left her in Jakku. How can a relic from such a far past still works? I dont know. But the fic sells it as being better than the Milenium Falcon anyways.

Detail is that Rey in the fic remembers feeling comfortable inside The Fury because of Aliana being there with her. And its because when she was sold and taken to The Fury she was ugly crying until Aliana comforted her. So the fic literally goes "awww you already knew eachother as children, you were made to be together". GAL, you were trafficking her.

Also Rey is implied as being the only one Tahleea left behind, wich means there were lots of People who got trafficked and no one saved them, while she was filling her pockets with dirty money. But the excuse its heard much is this.

"She needed to take care of her daughter."

Well, she took care of her. Until the Curse decided to act...

And a Skywalker ended their peace.

Thats it for now, part 3 is on its making and will focus more on the fic itself instead of its lore as its the route im going with this resumes.

SO, I SAW SOME PEOPLE TRYING TO READ THE SITH RESURGENCE FIC...

And i decided to help giving a resume about Aliana Beniko and the Beniko Clan for yall.

This is Part 1

So, in 2018, Lily talked about doing a star wars fanfic with a "Light Side Sith" character named Aliana Beniko, the only part about her changed being the fact that now she is full Dark Side Sith.

Aliana Beniko is the main character of Lily fantiction, and not only that but its her favourite oc, which is also one of the most disliked ocs for Star Wars fans.

As someone who read the 48 chapters of the Sith resurgence fanfic, and learned about the Lore of it, i will give to you a resume of the entire Beniko History

Lets begin with the past.

1-DARTH CAÍDA AND THE OLD REPUBLIC

The history of Aliana status even before she was born. In the Old Republic games its normal that players become the figure of Hero of Tython, an event of the game where you stop a warmongering Sith Lord on its mission to destroy the Galaxy. But what happens in this fic is basically that Lily character in the game is this said hero but not only that, she also marries one of the game main characters, a Sith named Lana Beniko. After the events of the Eternal War, a moment where both Jedi and Sith worked together to defeat the Eternal Empire, they decided to stay away from The drama and marry on another Planet. About Lily Character, her name is Darth Caída, wich means The Fallen Darth, because before becoming a Sith Lord she was a Jedi Knight.

After marrying eachother, both of them decided to form themselves an order of Sith called The Beniko Order. This would be a 100% female Group of Sith, where the members would be not united by blood, but other bonds. In another words, almost no one on this clan is blood related, but instead was adopted, was an apprentice or married a member of it. The clan also went into a more personal route, not focusing on becoming The strongest or The most Powerful Sith, but instead praising The love of a family and the low life.

This Sith Order stayed low for all of their lives, until the fall of the Sith Empire. So it happened the Rule of Two.

2-Darth Valee Beniko and Darth Bane

Darth Valee Beniko is a character that its only more mentioned in the Wikia than in the own fanfic, but its The one who built The ideals of the Order of Beniko after Darth Bane killed all the Sith and instated The Rule of Two. As i cant resume much without giving examples, there are some prints on both her vision of it and how the Beniko Order goes about certain themes

Yeah you read it right. Valee Beniko basically went the route of "Toxic Masculinity ruined the Sith". But after that nothing much is revealed about the Beniko clan, especially other members besides a very few ammount of them.

Like most of the Sith, the Beniko clan stayed in hiding. However, they didnt had easy lives, not only because of the Sith, but also because of a thing. A thing lily added to spite both the fans of Star Wars and the entire Star wars lore around.

A thing called "The Curse".

3-The Force hates them

Lily know that People dont like her oc, and specially her opinions about Star wars and the Force. Mostly of her opinions come from The game Knights of Old Republic 2, where we learn about the Nihilistic vision of the Force of Darth Thraya, who instead of seeing the Force as a mystical energy or a hidden power, sees it as an entity with will and preferences, who hates those who dont rely or worship them.

In this fic, The Force is treated as an evil entity who hates Dark Side users because they dont follow its will and even enslave it. Their hatred is more followed towards the Beniko Family, who follows a different path from other Sith, taking their powers from Passion instead of hate or fear, and being more focused on self-reflection than trying to be more powerful on the Force. Because of that, the Force kills them on purpose, putting dangers on their way to get rid of them. However, as this is a Lily fic we are talking about, The Force gets defeated by the ultimate powers of Mary Sueness of Aliana Beniko, but this is information for the next part.

Several Planets and the Zodiacal Light!

This month, at sunset, catch elusive Mercury, bright Venus, the Zodiacal Light, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter between midnight and dawn!

Both Venus and Mercury play the part of “evening stars” this month. At the beginning of the month they appear low on the western horizon.

The Moon itself joins the pair from March 18th through the 20th. 

The Moon skims by the Pleiades star cluster and Taurus’s bright red star Aldebaran on the next few evenings, March 21 through the 23rd.

Jupiter, king of the planets, rises just before midnight this month and earlier by month end. 

Even through the smallest telescope or average binoculars, you should see the 4 Galilean moons, Europa, Io, Callisto and Ganymede.

The March morning sky offers dazzling views of Mars and Saturn all month long.

Through a telescope, you can almost make out some of the surface features on Mars.

Look a little farther into Mars’ future and circle May 5th with a red marker. When our InSight spacecraft launches for its 6 month journey to the Red Planet, Mars will be easily visible to your unaided eye. 

Keep watching Mars as it travels closer to Earth. It will be closest in late July, when the red planet will appear larger in apparent diameter than it has since 2003!

You are in for a real treat if you can get away to a dark sky location on a moonless night this month – the Zodiacal Light and the Milky Way intersect! 

The Zodiacal light is a faint triangular glow seen from a dark sky just after sunset in the spring or just before sunrise in the fall.

The more familiar Milky Way is one of the spiral arms of our galaxy. 

What we’re seeing is sunlight reflecting off dust grains that circle the Sun in the inner solar system. These dust grains journey across our sky in the ecliptic, the same plane as the Moon and the planets.

one thing I want to say today relates to my current job. (As you guys know, I’ve left off working in science labs to work an office job in sci comm. My role is kind of … nebulous and involves a lot of “oh, Elodie can help you with that, she does weird stuff. Train Elodie on that.”)

Because it’s an office job, the mentality is for everyone to present their workflows as incredibly difficult and skilled, requiring a lot of training and experience to do properly. Which is fair enough! These skills are difficult!

“Elodie, today we are going to train you to use… A HIGHLY COMPLICATED AND DIFFICULT WEBSITE INTERFACE. You will need to take a lot of notes and pay careful attention, because it is extremely advanced. ARE YOU READY”

“… This is Wordpress.” “…No it isn’t! it says something different at the top. And it’s very complicated, it’s not something you can just know already.” “Nah son, don’t worry, it’s Wordpress. I mean, God knows I don’t blog much, but I can manage me a bit of Wordpress, it’s cool.”

“No. You can’t. Don’t worry, it’s very difficult. Now sit still and be trained on how to upload a photo to Wordpress.”

“All right.”

“Elodie, do you think that you can MANAGE SOCIAL MEDIA? It is INCREDIBLY HARD and may involve THE HASHTAGS”

“… I think I’ll manage.”

“Elodie, can you put a HYPERLINK in a thing? Think about it before you answer.”

“Is it like a BBCode kind of thing, with the boxy bracket things, or do you want it in HTML, with like angley bracket things?”

“It is a button that you press that says HYPERLINK.”

“I can do this thing for you.”

“Elodie, can you write a punchy summary that will make people want to click on a special link that says “read more” to read all of the text?“

“Probably?”

“Elodie, this is how to use TAGS on CONTENT. TAGS on CONTENT are important because - because of THINGS. Things that are too arcane and mysterious for anyone below the level of Manager to know.”

“Cool, I can tag stuff for you.”

“Elodie, this is obviously a ridiculous question, but can you edit videos?”

“Not very well, and only if you want to make it look like there is sexual tension between characters from different forms of visual media, or perhaps to make a trailer for a fanfiction? Which is not necessarily a good use of my time and I’m not sure why I felt it was so cool to do to begin with…”

“What?”

“Actually, upon further reflection: no. No. Nope. I can’t edit videos. They’re completely beyond me. Not in my wheelhouse. Hate videos. Hate them. No innate skill whatsoever.”

“That’s what we thought”

“Elodie?! You can use PHOTOSHOP?!”

“Yeah, I mean, I usually just use Pixlr. It’s free, it’s online, it’s powerful, you don’t have to download anything…”

“but you are not a GRAPHIC DESIGNER!!” “Er… no.”

“Next you’ll be telling us you can MAKE AN ANIMATED PICTURE.”

“I mean, I haven’t really done a lot of it since Livejournal, and they weren’t that good anyway, but yeah… I can do you reaction images.”

“THAT IS WITCHCRAFT”

“Yes. Definitely.”

What I’m trying to say is: a lot of people talk a lot of crap about what we Millenials do on the Internet, because there is NO CAPITALISTIC VALUE in the screwing around we do with our friends. “Ughh why are you ALWAYS on the computer?” our parents whined.

“How did you make the text go all slanty like that?” our bosses wonder.

We have decades of experience in Photoshop. We know how to communicate; we can make people across the planet care about our problems. We know how to edit media to make two characters look like they’re having the sexual tensions. We can make people read our posts, follow us, share our content. We run and manage our own websites - and make them pretty. We moderate conversations, enforce commenting policies, manage compromises, lead battles, encourage peace, defend ourselves from attack, inspire others, and foster incredible levels of communication.

We produce our art. We advertise our art. We engage with others through our art. We accept constructive criticism and dismiss destructive trolling of our art. We improve our art. Our art gets better.

We narrate our stories.

All by ourselves. Our pretty blog backgrounds, custom-edited themes, tasteful graphics, punchy content, clever gifs, our snappy putdowns and smart-ass text posts, even our familiarity with fonts and composition - all of these skills we’ve casually accumulated for fun/approval are MINDBLOWING LEVELS OF COMPETENCE IN THE WORKFORCE.

When these skills are sold to you - when they’re packaged and marketed, and when you pay to consume them and have the Elders rate you on them - they are incredibly valuable. They are Media and Communications degrees. They are marketing internships. They are leadership workshops. They are graphics design modules. They are web design courses. They are programming courses. We are good at this shit; we have it nailed down.

You can’t put “fandom” or “blogging” on your CV, but you deserve to. You should get this credit. You should claim this power and authority.

Claim these skills. They are valuable. They are important.

Everything you have ever done is a part of your powerful makings.

I shared all my advice on how to land a career US Government! Semesters that I am not working at NASA Johnson Space Center I study at the University of Minnesota Duluth and work in their Career and Internship Services. I am training into a Peer Educator position soon to help students edit resumes, write blog posts and give general career advice. i love that when writing cover letters, i have to keep going back to my resume, going "wait, what skills do i have again? oh right, i can read that kind of graph. let's put that down."

writing a resume be like "i promise i don't suck and i am capable of the stuff i will need to do for u. i'm not incompetent i swear" ｡◕‿‿◕｡

“why do you have a gap in your resume” idk why is there a gap in your staff. worry about that
