Controversial update, mayhaps. I think redemption/forgiveness plots in media are a really interesting area to discuss and analyze (see: ATLA Zuko), while also being insanely hard to write in a way that feels earned and realistic (see: everyone trying to do ATLA Zuko again). I'm sure Annabelle's perspective won't resonate with everyone, but I hope that for those of you who enjoy this kind of plotline that I'm handling it okay.
