There is always a way back to love and renewal through forgiveness. There is always an opportunity to make right your wrongs and breathe new life into your heart. The journey of forgiveness often begins within ourselves, a willingness to be open and a desire to be in union with our soul.
To forgive others, we must first confront our own mistakes and accept our humanity. When we hold onto guilt or resentment towards ourselves, it becomes a barrier to extending that compassion to others. This weight of unacknowledged mistakes can cloud our judgment and perpetuate cycles of blame and hurt. By forgiving ourselves, we create a space for understanding and empathy, not only for ourselves but for those around us.
By nurturing a forgiving attitude towards ourselves, we set the foundation for healing relationships and in turn creating a more compassionate world.
The unraveling of a person, with all their contrast and versions of self, is the most beautiful aspect of relating for me. The riding through a multitude of experiences, life challenges and all of the beautiful moments is a dream come true to my heart and mind.
The knowing that with time I will encounter multiple facets, each one a new world to explore. Every version of you whether in your darkness or light invites me to discover not just who you are, but also who I am within the context of my own journey—and that is priceless. It is within this dance of discovery that my affection deepens, it’s within this complexity that my love expands and solidifies into roots.
Roots that will remain loyal to showing up in the discovery of you.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Cure of the Black Pearl
It’s a little ridiculous, and it’s been a while so I can’t say for sure, but the original Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is one of my favourite movie stories of a romantic relationship because the relationship between Will and Elizabeth that is, actually tolerable.
While much of this might be due Keira Knightley’s Elizabeth that curses, is dominant, assertive in the film and in her own life, their relationship seemed like a better understanding than is what usually portrayed in stories (fiction and non-fiction). Friends, with a real partnership who happen to be romantically involved where neither acts better than the other and both feel the other is better than them.

I love my girlfriend so much she makes me so happy, they make feel so genuine and real. I was having really bad cramps and to help me feel better he grabbed my hand and told me to growl and we just growled at each other and it helped so much too be animalistic like that. she's my number one supporter and I'd do anything for him 🫶🫶
