This sounded so sweet so I had to draw it! Just realised I forgot to add in the sakura mochi, but I hope it’s alright.

I rarely draw characters in somewhat detailed backgrounds, so this was definitely outta my comfort zone! Whilst it was difficult, I think adding a background created a sort of narrative to the piece? Overall, I think it turned out pretty well.

Not really an ask just wanted to say I appreciate your artistic contribution to the Wind Breaker fandom. It’s so small right now, I hope with the anime it’ll gain more attention. And I love how you draw Sakura, so squishy, so boy, so baby. Lovely work :)

THANK YOU I LOVE WINDBREAKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it's gotta be one of my favorite if not absolute favorite currently ongoing manga series.

As for the fandom size, I'm kind of surprised it's as small as it is, even the Japanese fandom, considering how good the manga sales have been. But that'll probably change with the anime coming out, since even really famous series like dunmeshi didn't really gain a "fandom" until the anime aired. Manga as a whole is still way less popular than anime after all lol

And yes I love Sakura so much!!!!!!!!! He is my incredibly small son, my treasure, my weird sweet boy whomst I love
