I was definitely critical of Azi for not being more compassionate or at least recognizing that Levi is gaining sentience, but rewatching again I realize I probably would've acted the same way. She's just trying to survive she can't explain to her microwave what emotions are right now!
One of the silly takes I’ve seen about Scavenger’s Reign is Azi shouldn’t be mildly annoyed at Levi suddenly straying from protocol because they’re becoming sentient. I think if I was stuck in my house and could only cook TV dinners, I’d be annoyed if my microwave started composing poetry for no reason.
