Ngl sometimes, if you like Shadowfaerie/Eldershadow, you can feel almost like a Gaylor because tHE HINTS, THEY'RE DROPPING THE HINTS EVERYBODY and then you just sober up, looks at these «connectors» between them again and it's just straight up the most delusional made up bullshit a man ever saw
I just want to put it out there: even though I'm a die-hard Shadowfaerie fan (the 40+ pages fanfiction about them must be a hint to this but idk), I am in full support of other Elder Faerie pairings*, for instance – ElderCacao. I think one day I'm absolutely going to write something about them too, because, well, I appreciate the rarity – it takes guts to ship something so rare, I also appreciate the aesthetic (the entire Elder Faerie's and his Kingdom vibe is Silmarillion/LOTR coded, but this particular pairing – especially, for some reason), and also old man yuri supremacy. I have nothing against that as well, but honestly I'm fed up with DC being shipped exclusively with fragile little meow-meows, give him someone Tolkienishly knightly already 🍃✨🧝♀️
*aside from, perhaps, ElderLily, but not because I actively dislike them or sm, I'm just not particularly interested in them 🙌
So...
I wrote a 41 page fanfiction about ShadowFaerie (which was originally intended to be a 3-4 mini 💀), how they started being together, how they... uh, let's say, «parted ways» and how did Elder Faerie spend his entire life after Shadow Milk's imprisonment. Very emotional, sometimes disturbing (that's why it's rated R, because of violence) and absolutely incomprehensible to read.
I just didn't post it on AO3 because I'm not sure about it at all and I need to have some time to translate it to English. I'm just not sure if it will add another proof of this ship being toxic. Just needed to get it out of my system, nwm.

BASICALLY ,, Fair Flour was implying that Blueberry Yogurt and Elderberry had officially become a pair 🎉 BUT FOR SPICY CAYENNE,, not only did that break his heart, he also was sort of surprised that Blueberry--his closest friend-- didn't even tell him about it...... YUPPPP and it's real awkward between them for a couple thousand years until elderberry ends up having to leave blueberry due to foreseeing the danger and corruption blueberry will bring to the faerie kingdom and all of Cookiekind! WHICH PLAYS OUT IN CAYENNES FAVOR SO. WHATEVER.
