i love going into a ghost files episode because the beginning teaser comp is always shane and ryan hooting and hollering plus some spooky footage so im all like “OH SNAP THIS IS GETTING SERIOUS”
and then i finish the episode and it was just these two men standing about dark and empty places taking the piss out of each other with some tense music edited in the background
For future reference, how does one apply to work at watcher? I feel like this would be a job I'd very much enjoy. Is there some kind of like initiation that we have to go through? Or is it select members only type of thing??
@wearewatcher
If Ryan and Shane are "divorced", I'm packing my bags and going with Ryan. Sorry, Shane. I'm a boogara at heart. Can't leave the little guy by himself.
@wearewatcher
Shane beating the shit out of the ghost of Mr. Hull 🤝 Ryan beating the shit out a evil hologram version of the professor
The Professor’s death in the season four finale of Puppet History genuinely upset me. How could Ryan “Beef Boy” Bergara do such a thing to a sweet little blue puppet who just wanted to teach history??? I can never forgive him for such crimes. Granted now that I’m caught up and have been told The Professor has made a revival of himself, I hope he gets his revenge. Justice for The Professor!
Finally getting around to watching Puppet History (I’m behind on it as I didn’t watch it when it first came out) and I’m already on season two and man I love how unhinged the Professor is. Also the songs?? The songs at the end are top tier and I love them.
Since ghost files is ending, I’m gonna share two of my fav moments that I have absolutely loved. The first: Ryan and Shane being called a “nerd” by one of the ghosts in the St. Ignatisus (I think it’s that episode, if I’m wrong, please let me know!). The second: Shane beating the absolute daylights out of Mr. Hull and believing wholeheartedly that he may have killed a ghost.
Man. I would love to go ghost hunting with Ryan and Shane. I feel like I wouldn’t even be scared. So much chaos would be happening just between the two of them that I wouldn’t even need to feel fear. However, the moment I do have to go on a solo investigation, just know I will be metaphorically shitting my pants the moment something happens to me.
Just coming on here to say that I have been loving Ghost Files so far. Like I feel that after Buzzfeed Unsolved, the boys have def improved in their skills and it shows. They truly have earned that title of the best ghost hunters. So proud of them and everything them and the crew have accomplished so far.
Ryan (something makes a sound) : wtf I think I just heard something from that room over there-
Shane :
I thought I would share my first piece of @wearewatcher fan art that I completed this week. I hope they and you all enjoy!!!!
(If they see this fan art, I will scream.)
(The quality of the image is shit. So, I'm sorry)
(Edit: I woke up to all of these reblogs and likes thank you, everyone, this really made my day, you have no idea. 😭😭😭)
If anyone would like to see more Watcher art, please let me know and maybe drop some ideas for me in the comments! I love hearing them!
reblog if your babygirl is a 31 year old man, first name ryan, middle name steven, and last name bergara. BUT then this is my next question: are you to a believer or non believer? trying to see something.
What I love about Shane and Ryan's dynamic is the fact that neither of them are the designated "straightman" (THE ARCHTYPE. THE ARCHTYPE!!! This is not that type of blog.)
And at first it seems glaringly obvious. Shane plays the rational "must've been the wind" type skeptic to Ryan's adamant believer. When Ryan's in that state where he's hyperaware and terrified of everything, Shane's the one who grounds him / helps him calm down and bring him back to his senses. He has to disprove Ryan's theories whenever they get too fantastical to the point of possible harm (of course with the help of the crew).
But Ryan is also the moral voice of reason whenever Shane suggests some crazy antics, he keeps it respectful with the ghouls whenever they visit places. If there was a door that said "DO NOT ENTER the Chamber of Painful Killing and Poison", Shane would go in no second thoughts, cave-diver style and Ryan has to yoink him out and tell him "Dude that is VERY CLEARLY the Chamber of Painful Killing and Poison".
They kind of flip flop between being batshit crazy and holding the other back and I think that's beautiful
