it was your boyfriend's birthday, and you just got home from celebrating with his family. you guys entered the apartment, convulsing with laughter.

"and—and it was so funny—" shoyo laughed hard, making it hard to speak. you laughed along, remembering the moment he mentioned.

you guys settled in the kitchen, still laughing about the events earlier. "it was so funny though—i knew they were gonna sing, but i didn't expect the mic," you laughed. while you guys were celebrating at the restaurant earlier, the staff sang the birthday song for him—as mentioned, with a mic; that was pretty beat up, which made the singing more funny.

"i know right! i tried my best not to laugh, but i couldn't help myself," shoyo continued laughing. "hold—hold on—i'll get us something," you said, trying to stop your laughter.

as shoyo was talking about his favorite moments earlier, you went and grabbed liquor from the refrigerator. opening it with a bottle opener, you took two shot glasses and poured the liquor.

you took your glass and gave shoyo the other one, "happy 28th, my lover." you said, smiling, clinking your glass on his. "thank you so much for this day, my beloved," he smiled. he held your face, giving you a quick peck on the lips.

smiling, you both absorbed the liquor, drinking it in one go. "one more?" shoyo asked, "hmm, maybe five more?" both of you laughed. with that, you poured more liquor into your cups.

the night was filled with laughter and love; you were both so happy.
