@heartsaked asked: [ GAZE ] : sender stares longingly at receiver when they think they aren’t looking. / todo for sasuke !
Class was boring, but really what else was new?
This felt like stuff that he’s already knew about one way or another; things that Sasuke didn’t feel like he needed a drawn out class with a sensei that carried a monotone voice to reinforce. His chin rested heavily in the palm of his hand, eyes glancing towards the window, trying to find another to latch onto. It was too nice of a day to be cooped up indoors; he could be using this time to train or spar or simply take a walk or anything else. Irritation settled in his bones, along with a restlessness -- how much longer was this supposed to be.
Black eyes flickered back to the room, scanning the wall for the nearest clock, passing over several of his classmates before--- wait. While he had seen the multicolored heads of several of his peers, he had also scanned something else -- mismatched eyes looking his way. He backtracked and sure enough --- Todoroki. There’s a small flicker over his expression; eyes widening just barely at their eyes met again before he noted him breaking the contact first and looking away.
There’s something that swirls in Sasuke’s chest at catching the other staring at him; noting that the look in his eyes wasn’t one of someone dazing out or staring at someone while they were zoning out-- he was aware he was looking at Sasuke. Looking at him cause he wanted to.
Being desired wasn’t anything new for Sasuke, he lost count of how many times people have offered their unsolicited opinions on how ‘handsome’ and ‘pretty’ he was, even if he didn’t see what was so great about his appearance to catch those around him anyway. It was much the same for the multi-color haired boy he knew, he overheard the gossip among their peers.
... But was Todoroki looking at him for those reasons?
Or where they something else?
Lips curled into the tiniest of smiles, resisting the urge to snort in his amusement as he turned his eyes back forward once more; focusing again on Aizawa and whatever useless lesson he was trying to teach.
... Interesting how he wasn’t as bothered by the possibility as he would of been had it been someone else he caught staring like that.
