Kinda a rant, scroll past if you can't handle negativity, I just needed to voice this somewhere.
r/fakedisordercringe should not exist. How sad do you need to be to just find random disabled people online and post them on a subreddit that fosters a hateful environment. People posted there will 100% get harassed, even if the rules say not to. (I don't even know if the rules say not to go harass people posted there, but I'm sure as hell not going to check because I don't want posts from that subreddit recommended to me.)
My friend(s, plural bc they're a system) got doxxed on there. It was taken down, but surely someone saved their info because they've been getting countless texts and calls threatening them, calling them slurs, deadnaming them, the whole nine yards. Funny enough, (except this isn't funny at all) their headmate's partner was also posted on the subreddit, and has also been facing non stop harassment.
There's no defending this. I'm (not) sorry, but if you defend this community, you're a garbage human being in my eyes. When a community is based so largely on bullying and harassment, people are going to be hunted down outside of that community even if the rules say not to. If someone truly is faking a disorder, that's between them and their doctor, and it's definitely not worth the harassment of so many people and the doxxing of my friend.
