my post about vi arcane is not related to this i swear my revelations were at different times
god i wish i had a girlfriend
i stand firmly in my identifying as a female person but sometimes i want to be a man for the aesthetic
ok so i just freaked out a little bit!!!!!
im sure someone pointed this out already but in “would you fall in love with me again”, Odysseus details his wrongdoings from his journey home, but in the instrumentals, you can hear little callbacks to precious sagas!
when Odysseus says “left a trail of red on every island”, you can hear trumpets to the melody of ruthlessness
when he says, “as i traded friends like objects I could use”, you can hear a bit of circe’s motif i think!!!
and when he says, “hurt more lives than i can count on my hands” , you can hear some of mutiny!!!
just thought it was super cool, especially since it’s the last song of the last saga
ily epic <3333 ily jorge and cast <333
god that song is genuinely peak its unfathomably good like genuinely i love broadway people so much 🙏🙏🙏 the vocals are amazing and the music is goosebumps worthy and patrick page!!!
this post doesn’t even begin to explain how much i love that song but i needed to write about it because if it was on spotify it would be my #1 song within just this month

oh how i wish to be a straight man in musical theatre
born to be a broadway brooder forced to be a teenage girl
just realized that in "six hundred strike" when odysseus tells poseidon, "you're going to call off that storm." the music that plays is the same as in the beginning of "different beast" because odysseus isn't the same as he was when he first encountered poseidon - he realized that ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves and stopped greeting the world with open arms.
ILL NEVER SLEEP AGAIN
(it was so cool)
