I watched new Helluva Boss episode and it was heartbreaking

So I'm reposting what I drew before with a slight modification

On the stolitz breakup...

What a beautiful scene. What a long time coming. THIS is what I've been begging Viv for over a year for. We can see just how flawed they both are in this scene.

Blitz, for lashing out without trying to understand Stolas' intentions, for inadvertently mocking him for his feelings, for sticking his head in the ground and refusing to listen.

Stolas, for attempting to rush a confession out of Blitz (regardless of how well-intentioned). For not considering how confusing this may have been for him, for springing this on him so quickly and expecting a smooth sailing ride. He knows Blitz better than that.

Ive been critical of how the show has handled their dynamic since the beginning of season 2, I'm happy that they have finally taken the steps to breaking this couple down at their seams and re-building them. Its what they need.

A rant on Stolitz, as a Stolitz shipper.

I'm actually so fed up with the writing decisions taken this season. I recant my previous defense of Season 2 ep 2. As a fan of Stolas, the writing choices taken were awful.

The complete disregard of the development in episode 7 ( the best Helluva episode btw ) is not just annoying, but unsatisfactory. We are given the impression that Stolas might man up and stop chasing a prick who seemingly doesnt give a shit about him ( we know that Blitz obviously does, but Stolas does not ) but instead of keeping their interactions cordial and awkward/strained, they throw them right back into the horny bullshit they had before. I'm mad that the series wants us to root for stolitz ( which I DO ) without actually putting in the effort to show them repaire their "situationship".

What's the point in continuity? if I watched episode 5 and then watched season 2 episode 2, I would have ZERO clue that anything even happened between them. Vivzie is losing the plot (literally)

Vivzie is ruining Stolitz ( a ship that has insane potential to flip the switch and show two broken and hurt people grow TOGETHER. )

When we have to see them acting like absolutely nothing is wrong in ep 4 I'm going to pass out. Ridiculous.

( also random note, episode 3 was not funny. fucking at all. Brandon's 2017 humor really jumped out. Chaz's song got a chuckle out of me but that was it. it was tacky imo and Crimson is not only a fucking idiot but a terrible villain as well. )

If Vivzie makes the next episode the Stolas / Striker episode as seen in the trailer I'm going to be so fucking mad💀 The writing decisions she has been taking this season are abysmal. WE DO NOT NEED TO SEE STOLAS AND BLITZ INTERACTING LIKE NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THEIR RELATIONSHIP AGAIN. She needs to establish something with with Millie as a character first, hell, bring back the cherubs or something for episode 4 but my god can Stolas PLEASE get a break

A lot of Helluva boss fans are so caught up in their hatred for Stolas and Stolitz as a relationship that when Blitz eventually does express his true feelings towards Stolas they will 100% complain and find a way to call it out of character and misogynistic writing or whatever other crap they spew nowadays. (As usual they blatantly ignore Blitz tearing up when he said that what's "between them" is just "Stolas wanting Blitz to fuck him" as if that's not a glaringly obvious sign towards his romantic attraction towards Stolas)

There are many issues with Helluva boss ( the treatment of ALL the female characters, Moxxie abuse, hell, all the bullshit Spindelhorse drama) but to say that Stolas is the worst aspect of this show is laughable. Like he starts off as a character that I can completely understand why people dislike, but he grows beyond that, Stolas has issues (his obliviousness mainly) but if cheating is what you deem to be the worst thing anybody could ever do in a show where murder is childsplay then you need new priorities idk

On the crystal theory, and Stolitz break up

ive seen some theorists on reddit saying that the crystal won't make a comeback, and was simply there to showcase Stolas realizing Blitz was "using" him, because if IMP was running, Blitz was probably "using" Verosika as well ( as she has one herself )

Personally, I dont think Viv would put so much attention on it, plus have Stolas sing about their relationship being a 'comfortable lie' only to abandon it. Its the most plausible way for them to officially end their relationship, and im not sure how she will showcase Stolas' 'moving on' if she doesnt break them up sexually, what do yall think

erm? duh😭 I know Blitz is hurting to? but as someone who has been active in this fanbase since the pilot let me tell you around episode 6/7 is when Stolas was finally regarded as a real character and not a gag by most people. He was constantly reduced to a "horny sugar daddy" at best and an "abusive John" at worst. Like ofc he had fans but Stolas hate was everywhere and hard to avoid. I remember getting death threats and getting called a gay fetishist ( I'm lesbian lol) for supporting Stolitz around the same time ep 1 dropped. Imo Stolas is finally being seen for who he is, meanwhile Blitz has always had the sympathy of the majority of the fanbase, I know he is suffering but pls dont tell me I'm being biased when I speak on them and focusing on Stolas' misery.

Debunking the 'Stolas does not actually like Blitz' argument that for some reason, I keep hearing.

So someone on this damn app really tried it , and I feel the need to respond.

First off , Stolas having feelings for Blitz has been hinted at since Loo Loo land ( inviting I.M.P to Loo Loo Land to spend time with Blitz , because as we all know he can very well defend himself) so, his behavior in this episode is not 'ooc'. We are simply seeing his feelings for Blitz expressed in a different environment (aka , no sex, just a date)

Second of all , Stolas didn't hide his face out of embarrassment for being with Blitz, he hid his face because his whole family business was aired out. Stolas has flirted with Blitz publicly and (in this same ep) agreed to go to a public club with him, despite their statuses. He's not ashamed of being with an Imp.

Third of all, Stolas does his best to try and comfort Blitz after what happened , but Blitz rejects it ( as he has the right to). OP said that Stolas 'doesn't really like Blitz' because he 'didnt argue further or tell Blitz that he wants more than sex' but really, Stolas has the sense to know when to leave it be. Up to now, we as the audience are meant to know Stolas has feelings for Blitz, but he made it hard for himself by only being sexual with Blitz up to this point. However, that doesn't mean Stolas has no feelings for Blitz, it means he doesn't know how to act on them or communicate them properly.
