Ok I'm ranting for a bit. Want a summary, THIS IS NOT OKAY. People shouldn't fear their work being stolen and used against their wishes. I see it happen in the art community too where a artist says don't repost and they use it for an AI profile art or post it on other sites. It's not fucking hard to ask for permission to use something. Yk what's even easier? NOT FUCKING STEALING. this lovely person above me shouldn't have had to unpost hard work, because yes. It's. Not. Fucking. Free. What u read or see for free is shit people put time and effort into, and it's not fair for them to have a few boundaries ignored when they put their hard work into bringing u entertainment. Grow up, stop stealing. If u can't get creative enough to write ur own fics then work on it but don't steal people's work. These don't take only a few minutes. It ranges in minutes to weeks hell even months or years. My short fix took me 30 mins atleast of just writing (or typing i guess) and that was a short 1 part. How long do u think these mutiple chapter stories take to think up and write down? Exactly. So stop being asses and have some decency.
By no means am I giving the person above me shit. What they did was justified and I just hopes it doesn't happen to them or anyone again.
