Every since I found out the lyrics are actually “he looks up grinning like a devil” and that they refer to Taylor being completely exasperated by his lack of response after yelling that she’s completely in love with him, and he’s simply GRINNING AND SMUG ABOUT IT, I’ve since been screaming the line and wildly throwing my arms to gesture at an invisible person in the corner to show that I too AM REACHING A NEW LEVEL OF FRUSTRATION
