(Disclaimer) The way I'm explaining it is coming from memory which may not be totally correct so I apologize and hope someone can find it with the information I have.
I know for sure it’s most likely Steve Rogers/James “Bucky” Barnes, but I don't remember if it’s on AO3 or a Wattpad. (Most likely AO3) Sam Wilson is a side character as well as possibly Helen Cho, T’Challa, and Shuri as the part I remember takes place in Wakanda. It would also fall under the tag of Hurt/Injured Steve Rogers or Hidden Injury. Another thing I remember is that it was Civil War and right after Tony, Bucky, and Steve fought in Siberia they went to Wakanda to get Bucky’s mind and arm fixed. I think that Steve had gone to rescue the others in the raft (after Bucky went into cryo) including Sam with his hidden injuries otherwise I’m not sure how Sam had gotten to Wakanda with Steve and Bucky but I don't remember any of the other captured Avengers with them but they could have been with them. It was T’Challa, Steve, and Sam talking and so Steve thanked T’challa for help in Siberia and helping Bucky (I don't think Bucky was in this conversation since I think he was in cryo MAYBE), and then Steve started to walk down the hall. Steve then passed out in the hallway and Sam ran towards Steve to help him, It turned out Steve was hiding that his whole chest and sternum were bruised from Tony's repulsor.
