I'm trying to practice shading, specifically cel shading cause thats something I want to get better at. So I used Lincoln and Aurélia as guinea pigs. Twitter!
Fun fact, I've had Lincoln as a character since like 2018. A friend drew his reference for me and I've never drawn him since. That's not without trying though, I just felt like I could never do him justice or capture him the way I wanted. He's a beloved character with lots of time, lore and love poured into him but alas I was never able to draw him. This is my first time completing a piece with him in it and I'm very happy with how he turned out. Maybe there will be more Lincoln art in my future now that I've got a better grasp on his shapes.

I have been working on creating abit of a new artstyle, one that doesn't take as long, so that I can create pieces like this without having to spend three months creating them. Hope you like it!
I had to use photoshop for the coloring and shading on this, cause due to the size of the canvas procreate wouldn't let me create enough layers, however, I have not really ever used photoshop for drawing before (apart from a small introduction at school) so I really had to figure a lot of stuff out for this to work.
Anyways, a version of this design is up for sale as a sticker on my redbubble!

My friend is super into supernatural (lol) and the idea came to me
I didn’t put much thought into this one as the others but Sam and Dean are sandwing/mudwing hybrids
- both have more sandwingish builds but Sam is a lot larger and bulkier
- they both have more mudwing scales but Dean is more sandwing leaning (paler brown colors and a barb at the end of his tail)
- Cas is a ice/night hybrid with some kind of nightwing ability but I haven’t decided which yet, he probably also has a dream visitor cause why not
Fun fact I actually used to have Supernatural as cats designs in like 2020 but they’re long gone now lmaoo

At night, alone, in a dark room, they would often pretend these creatures are secretly looking after them, protecting them from whatever else hides in the shadows.
The large bird was their favorite. Warm and fuzzy on the inside, but still looks horrifying to whoever else comes across it.
