Villains: Puppeteer (Unknown)

Villains: Puppeteer (Unknown)

Born in the slums of the Old Town district of Harking City, the boy who would become The Puppeteer was the son of a toymaker who tried to bring as much joy to the poor children as possible. However, after his father was killed by loan sharks, the boy was moved from foster home to foster home, like a little toy that nobody wanted. After running away from a foster home at the age of 12, he ran back to his father's abandoned toy store and tried to relive his lost childhood. 20 years later, children started going missing from their homes and turning up dead on their parents' doorstep. The one thing linking all of them was their faces were sliced up to resemble puppets, and with a the phrase "Naughty Boy/Girl" carved into their chests. After a combined investigation by Black Streak and Carla Simmons, they discovered the place where the children were being taken: the abandoned toy store on Maple St. It turns out that the boy had some how attained superpowers, and had been kidnapping children and forcing them to play with him in his bedroom. If any of them refused, well you know what happened next. The superpower he'd gained was the ability to shoot strings out of his fingers that would attach themselves to the intended person. Once attached, he could wiggle around his fingers and control them like a puppet; hence the name "Puppeteer". Once he was captured by Black Streak and Carla Simmons, he was committed to the Belbridge Insane Asylum, and was nearly tortured to death by Dr. Franz Leiberman. He was unfortunately spared, and was later broken out and joined King Ace's gang.

Villains: Bulletstorm (Richard Cardinez)

Villains: Bulletstorm (Richard Cardinez)

Richard was raised by a backwoods family in New Mexico, and was taught how to use a gun at the age of 7. By the time he was 15, he was skilled enough to shoot flies out of the air with perfect precision. Unfortunately, the only thing he was good at was killing, and he began to develop a bloodlust. Because of this, Richard grew into a highly volatile and impulsive person. During his time in high school, Richard’s abusive brother Hector was killed during a night out with friends, and it is heavily suspected (though never proven) that Richard was the one responsible. After growing into adulthood, Richard moved away from his home town and decided to pursue a career outside of his family. Not much is known about what happened after he left, but 10 years later, Richard resurfaced as a bounty hunter & assassin. Unlike other assassins, Richard uses older firearms from before the 22nd century, due to the fact that it’s what he was raised with. Despite his old-fashioned methods, he’s skilled enough to shoot Black Streak in the leg at his top speed, which is faster than light.

Villains: Mr. Fuse (Arthur Ryan III)

Villains: Mr. Fuse (Arthur Ryan III)

Arthur is the son of one of the United Kingdom’s greatest army Colonels, and was trained from childhood to be a soldier. During his childhood, his father constantly told him to suppress his emotions, as they’ll get you killed on the battlefield according to him. In college he graduated with flying colors in the field of chemistry, as well as literature and biology. While he was in the military, Arthur used his extensive expertise to become his platoon’s resident explosives expert. During their time in the war, his platoon was given the experimental version of the super power serum, and they were able to win numerous battles in the coming months. Unfortunately, all good things often come to an abrupt and miserable end, especially in the army. While trying to save African refugees from a group of terrorists, Arthur’s entire platoon was slaughtered when it was revealed that the terrorists had gotten their hands on the bootleg version of the super serum developed by Grayson Industries. Arthur was the only member who survived and was naturally traumatized and broken by this. His confusion turned into rage, as later that night, he injected himself with the super serum and got the ability to turn anything he touches into a bomb, which can be activated by pressing his thumb down like a detonator. He then went and slaughtered every single one of the terrorists, and burned their entire headquarters to the ground, accidentally killing all of the refugees in the process. Knowing his time in the military ruined his life, he went back home to England and destroyed his military boarding school, his family manor, and then tracked down his father and turned him into a bomb, using him to blow up the memorial to his platoon during his father’s eulogy. He then sold his skills as a professional arsonist and mercenary, and became good friends with a master sharpshooting assassin named Bulletstorm.

Villains: Zap (Jennifer Watts)

Villains: Zap (Jennifer Watts)

Jennifer was a rebellious child prodigy from Portugal. She was an extremely creative person who eventually became one of the smartest lab techs at Grayson Industries, a rival company to the Carlyle Corporation. She was eventually recruited to do some corporate espionage in order for the company to find out the latest thing the Carlyle Corporation was making, so Grayson Industries could find out ahead of time and produce a knock off first. While undercover, she found the super serum and managed to bring the recipe to her superiors, and they quickly manufactured a knock off version of it to sell to their proprietors on the Black Market. During that time, she also manufactured a special battery that can be attached to the human body and produce an unlimited amount of energy by absorbing the electrons in the atmosphere. One night, police raided the lab after it was found out that Grayson Industries had performed corporate espionage, and Jennifer tried to escape with some samples of the new super serum and the prototype for her battery. She escaped out the backdoor of the lab and into a city in the middle of a lighting storm. While she was running to her car, lightning struck her battery, which she’d been wearing in order to carry it. She was then fused with the battery, as well as the chemicals she’d been carrying on her. The shock of electricity combined with the chemicals drove her completely insane, and she wound up developing a split personality, that being Jennifer and Zap. She is now a person of two minds, whereas Jennifer wants to help expand the world of science using research and patience, Zap uses brute force and murder to achieve her goals, no matter what it takes. She woke up in the hospital a day later, and wound up shorting out the electrical system with a mere touch. She then escaped, finding out that the battery combined with the serum had given her the ability to manipulate electro-magnetism, as well as use that electricity to supercharge her muscles, allowing her to run superhumanly fast. She later plunged the city into chaos by causing a blackout when she absorbed all of the power from the power plant. This led to many inmates from prisons and asylums escaping, as well as Jonathan Lincoln.

Villains: Prime King (Hartley Harrison)

Villains: Prime King (Hartley Harrison)

Hartley was always fascinated by the media. He’s an attention seeking whore who’ll do anything to be noticed by anybody. Unfortunately, he was the kind of person that no one ever noticed, and if anyone ever did, it was for the wrong reasons. He was also ostracized from his peers do to his homosexuality, and after his mother found out, she started treating him as though he never existed. In a desperate grasp for attention, he started his own Youtube channel, wherein he would do the most insane things that his followers would vote on. He would even try auditioning for roles on Theatre Plays and TV shows, thinking that his flamboyant and theatrical personality would be perfect for the performing arts. One day while he was in his late 20s, he was handed a golden opportunity when he came across Conan O’Brien III at a coffee shop, and the two managed to hit it off, with Conan thinking that Hartley was perfect for TV. He gave him a phone number to one of the head executives of a big time TV network, and Hartley jumped at the chance almost immediately. After many hours of (ahem) “patty cake”, Hartley finally had his own show, and he was one entertaining host. Unfortunately, he was so desperate to keep his fame that he would often come through on insane favors for the executives, many involving (ahem) “patty cake”. Unfortunately, Hartley’s popularity started to fade, and he began doing more riskay things during his broadcast time. When the show was on its last legs, Hartley did an interview with Spencer Desantos (Ultra-Violet’s father), who was going through a particularly bad scandal (he allegedly had an affair with one of the actresses on a movie he was directing), and Hartley was so desperate for ratings that he began to ask Spencer some very personal questions, and began to outright accuse him of being an abusive husband and father. When Spencer threatened to sue him for the accusations, Hartley lept over his desk and beat the shit out of him, losing both his show and dignity in the process. He was later disowned by his family when pictures of him having sex with the Network Executives began circulating around the news. Having lost everything, Hartley finally snapped. Realizing that people really get entertainment out of suffering, humiliation, and crime, Hartley decided to rebrand himself. He resurfaced 5 months later with a new look and show, and his debut episode was him and his gang robbing the 1st National Bank while having a film crew broadcast it. Now calling himself the Prime King, Hartley made himself known to the public as one of the most unique villains the world has ever seen. When he was inevitably caught, the network actually paid his bail money, because his new show was just getting too many ratings.

Villains: King Ace (Adrien Halbert)

Villains: King Ace (Adrien Halbert)

Adrian is the son of a family of wealthy British nobles who was the black sheep of his bloodline. His family utterly despised him for his love of literature and music, often abusing him for his intelligence. Eventually, the abuse led to Adrian becoming a sadistic psychopath and murdering his family in return. After that, he left the manor and started an anarchic biker gang, one that spread chaos and death wherever they went. Adrian isn’t doing this for money or any physical reward, for the most part. He’s doing it simply because he loves to do wrong, and sees an artistic light to it. The man’s a sadist, plain and simple, but what’s so unsettling is how much he enjoys what he does. The smile on his face is pure delight, he is in heaven. To him, causing chaos and misery is like reaching Nirvana on a roller coaster, and he loves every second of it. He speaks very fluently, using a mixture of high society and street vernacular. He’s obviously the most intelligent out of his group, and often conducts his crimes as if they were a symphony, and every person and object were his instruments. He sees himself as something of a performer, or an artist.

So At Comic Con Stockholm, I Went To An Activity Where You Would Learn To Design Your Own Hero Or Villain,

So at Comic Con Stockholm, I went to an activity where you would learn to design your own hero or villain, expecting it to be held by some kind of indie-company I never heard of to learn… It was held by a high school teacher and his top students… yay.

So, not exactly the most in-depth or professional insights, he mostly just showed pictures from “How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way” and kept on calling Stan Lee an artist instead of a writer…

But I had an hour to kill so I stayed and the assignment was to create an element-based character and I felt “wow, fire’s often compared with destruction and water’s healing” stuff like that and to turn the tables so I wanted to make a fire-hero. And I had no clue what to do. So I started with the villain instead.

So yeah, basic stuff, he was big, towering, inspired by the sharp form of the triangle. I was creative and used fur to exacerbate the shape a little. I also taught one of the students about the bts of Star Wars and talked about how Stomtroopers and Vader’s helmet are supposed to look like skulls and wanting a little bit of that to hide my character’s humanity and make him look a little bit scarier.

Never got to the colours but imagined him in cold colours, white, blue. But also a little bit of brown for a fun contrast. I did sketch a few logos but decided to go without.

They were also supposed to have some artefact so I gave him a water-gauntlet, imagining the source of his powers and since I had also bought a bag with the “Great Wave of Kanagawa” printed on it, I decided to use that as the decorating of the gauntlet.

But with a kind of basic idea of the character, I think I have ideas on how to make his hero-counterpart.
