Set upon the backdrop of a cloudy planet’s stratosphere and the surrounding space, with its moon in the upper-right-hand corner. At the top in stylized block lettering reads the title: “A Sterling Garden”. Immediately below it stand four drawn characters of varying heights and apparent species, with names (Adelaide, Kay, Mirm, Mr. Ray, GM Sophia) to their left. From left to right, the characters are: A white, green-eyed woman with poofy red curly hair tied up with an aqua band leaning against an unseen wall, holding a blaster at the ready while looking warily over her shoulder. She wears a dark leather jacket over a lace crop top, grey pants tied with an aqua sash, and knee-high brown boots. A white woman with green hair eyes looking towards the ceiling. She wears a long red duster with brown shoulder pads over thick grey coveralls with blue knee pads, brown leather gauntlets on her arms, steel-lined brown leather boots, and red goggles on her forehead. A Mandalorian in distinctive orange armor with red accents; the visor is in the familiar “T” shape. He holds a blaster pistol in his right hand (our left) and a vibrodagger in his left (our right). Instead of standard thigh armor, he wears a dark brown war skirt that is open in the front. A yellow-skinned Twi’lek with green eyes. They wear piloting goggles on their head and have tattoos in the shape of circuitry running down their “lekku” and serve as their eyebrows. They wear a brown scarf that trails down behind them, bits of white “plasteel” armor on their right shoulder and left arm, a light brown wrap barely covering their chest, dark brown pants with black pouches strapped on, and black leather boots. They are the tallest of the group, leaning casually against an unseen wall, thumb to their lip. Below them reads, “Thursdays at 9pm EST; March 6-27 • April 10-24 • May 22& 29”. Below that is the SW5E logo and the Meadowlark Productions logo, then finally the text, “A Meadowlark Productions Limited Run Series”

The Galactic Civil War has begun!

Yet, not all who live under the Empire’s thumb participate in its downfall. Most simply exist, doing the jobs they can to survive, and maybe—maybe—helping others do the same along the way.

It is four of this kind of person that we find in an intercontinental distribution harbor on Naboo: a small band that have found themselves hired by a certain Yzeti Va, a freighter that needs a crew and is probably not averse to a bit of smuggling or other tomfoolery. After poking around for jobs to get you around the Galaxy, each of them received an offer from her. Now, they sit in a harbor dock house, awaiting their patron…

So I’m gonna be doing a neat thing with Meadowlark Productions on Twitch to raise money for Gender Alchemy, a 501c3 organization that supports and uplifts transgender folks in Fresno, CA.

“A Sterling Garden” is a SW5E limited run campaign set in the year that will eventually be known as 3BBY. In addition to being the GM, I’m doing nearly all of the campaign art you’ll see, including the four player characters and the ship-bullet-points shown in the promo above!
