Swap Papyrus!! Stretch

He's a skeleton who likes dates to be indoors but unlike Cash he likes walking around and going on fun outings. He's often outside with his brother or watching over everyone anyway so he's developed a love for things like picnics, walking at night, stargazing and the like.

His fear of the world resetting again often causes him to close himself off. I mean, for him it doesn't matter, right? Cause it's just going to start back at square one. But that day never comes. He knows that it won't happen again but it's still a huge worry for him. So I think it'd be hard to get on his trusting side first, no matter how much he likes you in a romantic light.

When he starts to warm and loosen up around you I think he'd be a really sweet date mate. He likes to lean on you a lot, not in a mean 'poking fun at your height' way more like a 'he's tired and likes the warmth' kinda vibe/beat.

He does small things that don't really seem like a big deal but are caring and endearing like blowing smoke the other way (unlike Cash), offering you food and drinks (even though he mostly consumes honey), and just small miscellaneous stuff kinda like sharing blankets and lending you clothes.

Stretch most definitely, enjoys seeing you in his colors. Or even shirts for that matter. It's like you're carrying a part of him everywhere that way! He'd also be a bit corny with his puns and get a little embarrassing but he continues to make them because you laugh at them. Also because his brother groans dramatically and he thinks it's funny.

Loves taking naps with you. Also lazy dances in the kitchen at night make him smile very wide. He's not immune to flattery as well though so I think Stretch would also get kind of flustered at small intimate acts. Definitely tries to play it cool and fails.

Tells you stories about his underground in exchange you tell him stories back. Enjoys the cultural exchange and likes hearing about your experiences too. He often ends up staring at you very clearly not listening when this happens and you just tend to playfully roll your eyes.

Cash!! Swapfell Papyrus!

Pretty lazy skeleton who likes low effort activities, greedy and lazy. So like, dates and stuff would be typically in doors where he doesn't have to do much. I.E. movies dates, dinners and typical gaming sessions that turn into hang outs. Stuff like that.

Cash most definitely has commitment issues. He's not used to a constant relationship with him and his brother disagreeing so often and his relationships with other people tend to be either flings or people he's robbed.

With that being said, he would like to hang out often once he realizes you're not going to up and leave him so quickly and I think he'd get pretty clingy. Likes to have an arm around you and enjoys physical touch. Cash would probably like to be lazy with you and annoy people with you around. You have interesting perspectives and reactions to things so he'd like to mess around and get kinda mean with his pranks, whether that is towards you or other people just depends on the day.

Side note but because he's a greedy skeleton in general I don't imagine he'd let you wander off far from him too much. Cash values your time a lot and can get petty when you start to get busy without clueing him in too. He likes to be a part of what you do.

Definitely the kind of guy to fuck with you by doing small annoying shit like blowing smoke your way and getting overly possessive over you and what you're doing. Again, his greed gets the best of him very often. Oh also definitely the type of guy to put shit higher on the shelves so you need his help. (<-- this backfires when his brother gets onto him about it)

Swapfell Papyrus! Mutt/Rus

The feeling of his house suffocates him a lot so I think he'd like to be more out and about. So dates would typically be at events like aquariums, carnivals, walks, lantern festivals/Diwali and things of the like. He doesn't have to do too much but he also gets to enjoy new sights and get out of the house.

Mutt! He's a very quiet and stand off -ish skeleton. So I think even beginning a relationship or friendship with him is going to be a challenge within itself. He doesn't typically reply back in conversations and is very curt and straight faced.

I think the beginning of your relationship would start with either his brother taking a liking to you or you making it your goal to at least get him to crack a smile.

Because his brother is very.. well, demanding and strict he doesn't like being caught slacking. So when he quietly laughs at something you said he immediately cringes and tightens up, judging by your open mouthed and wide eyed expression he assumes you notice and quickly retreats to his room.

I think he starts to learn to relax a little around you. Lots of leaning on you for support and pulling you into his lap, while he mumbles incoherently about his day or people around him into your shoulder. The romantic feelings start very late, he's a sucker for casual intimacy so he doesn't really pay attention to the implications of being so close and around you 24/7. He just enjoys the soft comfort of your presence a lot.

Once that feeling of yearning sets in, it takes a while for him to confess to you. Out of fear of losing the few soft people he has around him. But you guys eventually start dating! Which includes a lot of small domestic acts like sewing up his jacket, cooking for each other and just generally being close with one another. Totally softie.

Especially likes to lay down in your lap and just.. lay there as you idly run a soft and gentle hand down his skull, soothing his troubles. Much like the trend of taking naps with your partner I think he especially likes to wrap his legs and arms around you, caging you in to nap.

Much like how he is with his brother, gets over protective as well with you. Includes a lot of glaring and holding you closer. Sometimes he even growls lowly, which, you didn't even know how could do.

Swap sans headcanons and random ideas

Blue would like to carry you around. It shows that his capable and strong. He's often judged by his height which pisses him off to no end. But he's a bulkier skeleton compared to his counterparts which he takes great pride in.

Loves theatrics and extravagant things so I think he'd be more dramatic with story re tellings and even the way he courts people. Speaking of which -

I don't think he'd actually intentionally do it. He gets caught up in his routine and plans that courting people he likes like that just slips his mind. He's more popular in terms of someone you'd meet and go 'wow, he's pretty'. Because he's never really gotten into the dating scene that much, flirting tends to go right past his head and he interprets advances and such as compliments.

That's not to say he wouldn't get it eventually, he's been hit on quite a bit, it's just a bit more difficult to get your intentions across to him. Once he does catch on I think he tries to reciprocate the courting. Because he's more loud and proud in how he goes about things, it'd be easy to get shy in his presence.

Definitely as a bit of an ego and likes to brag about he is achievements. He's a competitive skeleton and enjoys a challenge, the challenge is what makes it fun for him. That and bragging rights. He's humble but can definitely get cocky and uppity if he wanted too.

He also likes fashion. Not too into the nitty giddy of it like Edge is but he enjoys dressing up.

an update for the Malevolent Mote AU!

I am going to be rewriting a few things, mostly due to brainstorming different ideas that I felt worked better for the au and were more entertaining.

The swaps will remain unchanged, the only thing that’s changing is how I’m handling the way the characters are, well, characterized. As well as their motivations.

I wrote a fic for the malevolent motel au!

I wanted to write out a full scene for the au, and sorta capture how the characters would interact with each other and react to different situations.

let’s goooo, doing yet another one. They are very fun to make.

Baxter is causing mass destruction and mayhem with a flying cruise ship that he definitely did not steal from anyone.

Baxter: “Mwahahaha!! Yes! Cower before me demons! Accept your doom!! You are all no match for my genius!”

A small fish-bot wearing a business tie nods along with Baxter.

#23 Fish-Bot: “I concur, Dr. Baxter. Your cognitive abilities cannot be replicated.”

#33 Fish-Bot: “You have shown those imbeciles who’s in charge of this fiery purgatory. All will fear your presence.”

Baxter nodded happily.

Baxter: “Indeed! At this rate I shall cease control of the entire east-side of the pentagram by the end of the day! And no one shall stand in my way!”

#67 Fish-Bot: “Hazzah! Three cheers for Dr. Baxter and his destructive capabilities!”

#98 Fish-Bot: “Hip Hip Horray!”

Baxter: “Hell will belong to me, and everyone shall flee in terror of the name Doctor B-“

Velvette: “Bitchboy!”

Baxter: “Wha- Hey!! Who said that?”

#45 Fish-Bot: “Twas not us Dr. Baxter. Perhaps we have an intruder on this airborn vessel?”

Baxter: “An intruder?”

Just then, a small bouncy-ball with a star on it crashes through a window and lands right between Baxter and his minions. Wait. Is the ball beeping?..oh shit.

Baxter: “ACK! Take cover!!”

Baxter jumps out of the way as the ball explodes into a cloud of…glitter?

Baxter: “COUGH COUGH- Eughh, what the fuck was that?”

Another demon stands before Baxter, glaring at him with annoyance. Next to her flies a mini drone, seemingly recording the fight.

Velvette: “What the fuck do you think you’re doing on my turf, you pompous little bitch?”

Baxter: “…What???”

Velvette: “My turf. I claimed this area already so why don’t you fuck off!”

Baxter: “What are you talking about? I claimed this side of pentagram city, not you! I appeared with a battleship and everything! All you have is a glitter bomb and an attitude!”

Velvette: “Oh if you think you’re getting an attitude now you just wait! I’ll fuck you up so hard even your own mother won’t recognize you!”

Velvette proceeded to pounce at Baxter.

Baxter: “Oh shit-“

you know what, doing another one. These guys have been in the brain and I have many ideas for them.

Lucifer opens the front door, about to turn away whatever salesman or delivery person was on their doorstep.

Lucifer: “Listen whatever your selling we aren’t interest-“

Rosie: “Hello! It is an honor to meet-“

Lucifer immediately shuts the door and stares at a wall in terrified silence. He slowly opens the door again to check if she was gone. She was not.

Rosie: “-You. If I may have a moment of your time your highness-“

He shuts the door again.

Lucifer: “Heyyyyy, Adam?”

Adam was sitting on a nearby couch, tuning his guitar.

Adam: “Yeah?”

Lucifer: “The Cannibal Demon is at the door..”

Adam: “WHAT!? ARE YOU FUCKING JOKING???”

Valentino leaned over from his chosen smoking area.

Valentino: “The what?”

Lucifer looked like he was about to have a panic attack.

Lucifer: “What should I do????”

Adam: “Uhh, Don’t invite her in! Obviously?”

Lucifer: “Right!….Right..”

felt a little silly, so-

Velvette & Valentino are in the middle of a fight with Baxter and his minions.

Velvette: “You think you’re gonna get into big trouble for this?”

Valentino: “Eehhh, What’s one teeny tiny brawl gonna cause?”

Meanwhile…

Lucifer & Vox are beating the absolute crap out of each other on live television while the studio’s fire alarm goes off in the background. Adam is watching the fight from the sidelines eating popcorn and being of no help. Vox’s Co-Host runs in front of the cameras while on fire.

Co-Host: “WHY IS NOBODY HELPING ME?!”

WOO, let’s go! More Malevolent Motel thoughts! We have Valentino, Velvette, and Baxter to talk about now.

Vallllll. The MOTHMAN. The Pimp. The character everyone hates.

what if I made him more pathetic and silly like a certain spider demon.

Introducing this AU’s Valentino, a popular pornstar that has connections with Hell’s most notorious mobsters. A mob specifically run by the Overlord Angel Dust. Valentino made a deal with Angel and gave him ownership over his soul. A terrible idea! He’s found himself caught in a web he can’t escape from, after being drawn in closer to Angel like a moth to flame.

to combat the stress and anxiety he feels when around Angel or at work he turns to drugs and alcohol (like OG Angel Dust) while trying to play off everything like he doesn’t care.

He tries to bury his feelings even further by jokingly flirting with Vox and trying to get his attention…only to realize in horror that he might actually be falling for the Tv headed demon.

Velvette, one of the biggest internet influencers in Hell. Often seen live streaming herself kicking other demons asses in turf wars. She is a bitch and she’ll let you know it. She happens to be besties with Val, and they often fight together. She enjoys long walks on the beach and tearing apart other demons with her various weapons.

Baxter, a (goofy) Mad Scientist who somehow gets his hands on a flying boat and several mini robot fish. He fights for territory using chemicals he’s created during his many experiments, like acid. He hopes to one day catch the eyes of the AHC’s (This universes Vees) and become an Overlord.

The rambles continue, this time Rosie, Vox, and Mimzy are getting the spotlight!

Starting with Rosie. A notorious overlord in hell, famous for cannibalizing other overlords as a way to quickly rise to the top. This earning her the name ‘The Cannibal Demon’ (as lazy as that is.)

She decides to help out with Lucifer’s Motel Project as a Co-Owner out of sheer curiosity and boredom. Totally nothing else. There is no other reason why she’s involved. Her powers are heavily inspired by Mary Poppins and Witchcraft, instead of Voodoo like Alastor.

She wields a Parasol in place of a Microphone Staff.

As for Vox, he is in a very similar situation to OG Husker. He was once a powerful overlord, but after running in hard times with his studio he made a deal with Rosie to keep his company afloat. He would later regret this once Rosie started cashing in some favors. Especially since his company still sank despite Rosie’s help, but that still didn’t end their deal. Currently, he works as a News Anchor for 666 News. Which is where he first meets Lucifer who approached the company looking to advertise a project he’s been working on, and you can’t exactly say no to the king of hell.

Rosie later summons him to work behind the desk at the motel due to his “charismatic personality and charming smile”. When flattery doesn’t work to convince him Rosie wins him over with some expensive wine.

Sadly, that still doesn’t make up for the annoyance that is a certain Moth Demon flirting with him every chance he gets.

Mimzy is pretty simple. She made a deal with Rosie and that lead to her working at the Motel as a Janitor. However, she’s not very good at her job as she spends most of her time at the bar or gossiping with anybody who will listen.

ALRIGHTY! Time to ramble about my ideas for The Malevolent Motel AU and drive myself insane. Starting with Lucifer & Adam AU lore.

Lucifer takes up Charlie’s role of creating a hotel, or in this case a motel, to redeem sinners. However, his motivation is very different from hers.

he isn’t doing this out of kindness for sinners, nor does he have any hope of them possibly being redeemed. Similarly to how he is in the original series. So, why is he doing this?

for Charlie. He wants to make her happy, and help her dream about redeeming sinners she shared with him years ago come true. After Charlie stopped calling him and practically disappeared off the face of hell, Lucifer became desperate to find her, especially after the state he saw her in before she vanished.

he is hoping that by running this motel and achieving her dream, she might return home.

Now, as for Adam’s involvement with Lucifer and the Motel? Thats a little tricky.

He isn’t exactly there willingly.

a while back, Adam made a critical mistake in the eyes of heaven and was banished to hell in the form of a Fallen Angel as a result. After his fall he was found by Lucifer who offered him a deal. Lucifer would shield Adam from the dangers and horrors of hell, and in return Adam would be at his every beck and call. His personal royal assistant. Adam absolutely hates this deal, but accepts it anyway. He doesn’t really have anywhere else to go. Thus, he “helps” Lucifer run the Motel and sorta acts like a Bodyguard.

He still believes that there is absolutely no way to redeem a sinner and mocks Lucifer at every chance he gets. (However he does secretly hope it is possible so he can get redeemed and return to heaven.)

I am still debating whether or not Lucifer & Adam eventually fall for each other like Vaggie & Charlie, or remain platonic. It’s a maybe for now.
