so when you come along with your brief arm touches when you laugh and your hand on her lower back as you walked past. she swooned
when you start hanging out, just the two of you in her shed, you would insist on sitting right beside her. especially if you watching a film
expanding in the last point, you’d wrap your arms around hers and would hug it to your body while you leant on her when your watching a film and she would go so fucking red
when you finally get together, your brief touches became constant.
neither of you were big on PDA so you had settled for linking pinkies while walking the streets of jackson
at parties, however, when your both a little tipsy and giggly. you’d take to leaning against her back whilst she conversed. your arms around her waist as you swayed in your drunken state.
Ellie wouldn’t be huge on pet names, sticking to variations of your names however (knowing you get all blushy and embarrassed) she would call you ‘her wife’ or ‘the mrs’ to others.
On the other hand, you would call her every pet name under the sun and she had to pretend it didn’t affect her. often looking away and faking a cough to cover a blush or would just stop talking to stop herself blushing.
Joel would quickly take you in, seeing how happy you made ellie. he decided he liked you too. often taking to teasing you both.
you and dina would be BEST FRIENDS. i’m talking gossiping until 2am, making food together and sipping on cheap wine type of best friends.
ellie would bring a joint or two home from the patrol hee and dina went on, the both of you smoking it. let’s just say your a very affectionate high. hands on any part of ellie you could reach.
i feel like the thing ellie would hate (she doesn’t actually hate it, just pretends) would be when you grabbed her arse. literally whenever she’s bent over doing something, you would be up behind her grabbing at her bum.
but she would do it too so fairs fair.

Maintenance day.
(Safety Net/ Swooning/ "How many fingers am I holding up?")
Idia has made a habit of performing Ortho's maintenance on the first day of every month and well. Today's the day.
It's quite simple really. Even a genius like Idia doesn't have enough will power to perform complex maintenance every month.
Heck! Idia barely has enough will power to get up in the morning! (That's normal right?)
Regardless of Idia's lack of motivation he gets up to perform the maintenance on Ortho.
Orthos maintenance is easy. Just checking in on all of his systems and updating his databank. A few hours work but nothing that Idia can't handle.
Unless there's an unexpected variable.
An unexpected variable such as a virus
Idia notices a slight error in the code. Just one small error.
But then he notices another
And another.
And suddenly bright red warning signs are flashing all across his screen.
This can't be happening
Viruses are dangerous and even one minor slip-up can cause Ortho to malfunction and...
Idia looks up at where Ortho is standing.
He looks tired.
And then. He falls.
Idia runs over to catch him just in time before rushing to manually reset his code.
He needs to be careful. One wrong move and...
Idia can't afford to lose Ortho again.
And he will do anything to make sure he doesn't.

Hi!!! sorry it's been a while Ive been really burnt out and busy with school but I'm back for Whumptober! I really hope this is good. It's not as headcanon-y as id like it but it's nearly midnight here and I gotta get this out on time! I'll be trying my level-best to be posting everyday in October.
