another day, another zooble headcanon.

so. MU👏SIC👏

so zooble is the kind of person who always has their earbuds in at full volume - working, driving, sleeping, whatever. They got a lot of headaches, but that's the price you pay to not have to listen to annoying people.

That's the second thing they miss most about the real world, (other than their new body) real music. Not the annoying background music that plays on loop all the time in the circus (another headcanon of mine.)

they listen to a lot of punk and rock music, y'know the kind you feel like screaming to. I also imagine them listening to some indie stuff, like marina and mother mother.

Though I wonder… what personalities do they have outside of the programming Caine left behind? I headcanon these guys meeting Ringmaster Pomni and they finally get to talk to someone about their real feelings without their programming taking hold of them.

Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun with figuring out their designs. As for how they'd act outside of the code I could take a few guesses.

Jax - Probably might try and fool himself into thinking it doesn't bother him at first, but as the days continue by with no hope of control over himself he'll start to get frustrated and upset. Of course, these emotions don't bubble up until he's sure that he's alone. Wouldn't want anyone to see that this is actually affecting him, after all. Not that anyone would care, after being taken over by the ringmaster's code he quickly noticed that none of the other people seemed to be too concerned about it.

Ragatha - Probably the opposite of Jax. At first, she's very torn up (heh) about what happened. She probably didn't even mean to hurt Caine or maybe she thought that if she did it might've created a way out. When the AI started taking over her being she was devastated, but after finding out that most of the circus-goers (aside from Jax) were concerned about her well-being it somehow comforted her in a bittersweet way. She then tried her best to adapt into her new ringmaster role in order to make everyone happy. After all, as long as they're happy, she's happy... right?

Gangle - The manic mask won't come off. No matter what she tries it won't come off. At the beginning, she's terrified, always shivering and crying, praying that this nightmare would end soon. But as the days continue she slowly begins to lose bits and pieces of herself until she's molded herself into what she deems as the perfect ringmaster. It'd ruin her if someone were to say that they didn't like her adventures. Even with that indestructible mask permanently fixed to her face her psyche is still so fragile, there's no telling what would happen if it were to break.

Zooble - They were already an individual trapped inside a body that they weren't comfortable with, but now they're trapped inside a mind that they don't like either. They hate it, they hate all of it! Their body, their loss of self, their stupid adventures, the ringmaster code itself, this entire stupid game, ALL OF IT! To the point that it's overwhelming, to the point that it's exhausting. They're exhausted, miserable, and most of all angry.

Kinger - He's probably the least aware whenever the AI takes over. Probably experiences it like passing out and waking up in another room. It scares him at first, he doesn't know what's going on and it confuses him. But he's already lost so much of himself at the circus that it doesn't take long for the AI to almost completely take over. Only in complete darkness are there little glints of who he once was. He might recall a memory or two, sputtering gibberish about wives and bugs.

I've seen a plethora of Jax HCs centered around on his sexuality And I wanted to put my own HC out in the ring for public eye Since the pilot dropped, I've always seen him as aromantic, jury's out for asexual, but he always struck me as aromantic The way he flirts and makes innuendos with everyone around him reminds me of how me and my friends(who are majority aroace) all make non-stop flirty or sexual jokes with each other And I'm pretty sure Jax has some sense of care for the other circus members in a way that he could see this as playing around with people "close" to him Or, flipped on it's head(and this one I lean more towards), his continuous flirting is him not accepting how he hasn't felt romantic attraction in the same way people or media describes it, Jax does seem to have some kind of problem with accepting the way he feels so him not accepting a concept like that as part of himself is possible Maybe I'm stretching it, or just projecting too hard, but I like my HC of Jax being a romance-repulsed aromantic, like me!

Some kind of headcanon about Kinger and Queenie!

So everyone in TADC lose some part of their memories (especially memories of who they are, what their names are, etc.) and that same thing happened to Kinger and Queenie.

But what if they were married BEFORE they got into TADC but they forgot about it and then fell in love again? What if before TADC Kinger had hated insects but his wife showed him their beauty and he started liking them? AND AFTER THEY GOT INTO TADC THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN

Caine likes to play with all animal-like NPCs like someone does with cats: dangle testing them, booping them on the nose, making them dance, etc. But it’s all okay since it’s considered a rare honor to be booped by a god!

(the humanoids get played with like dollies and he does make them kiss and has elaborate plot lines with them)

WHAT’S THIS?! TADC Headcanons?!?

— As the youngest circus member, Jax has definitely played FNAF and immediately thought “oh yes this is awesome” when he got into his digital body. However, sadly, no one else has played FNAF or gets his occasional references. 

— Bubble has a knack for showing up unannounced, absolutely silently. One minute, you’re chilling in your room; the next, Bubble is also chilling in your room. 4 inches behind your face. Silently.

— As there’s only humans, NPCs, and AIs in the circus, where does Jax get the bugs to harass Ragatha with?  My theory is that he bribes Caine to get them and Caine, being a natural prankster, is all too willing to indulge and make bugs appear out of thin air. 

— Ragatha is terrified that the bugs will crawl in where her stuffing should be like the Oogie Boogie Man. She was creeped out by Nightmare Before Christmas. She will never tell this to Jax, though. 

— Caine has accidentally bit one of his eyes before, just like someone biting their tongue. It hurts every bit and much much more. It hurts so much he glitches in and out of cyberspace for a few moments in pain.

— Gummigoo is actually an abstraction that has regained control using an NPC as a channel/shell for their essence. This is why he’s so self-aware and determined to return to the Circus, even if he’s not aware of it or his past life in the Circus. 

— Bubble watches reality TV (with a big bowl of popcorn) and, while Caine acts like he hates it, he watches it for all the big romantic gestures so he can know what to do for the Moon when he wants to flirt. 

— Bubble made Caine a big box of chocolates to give to her on Valentine’s Day. He still feels very touched by the gesture.

— Caine, on the other hand, is a huge fan of game shows and is actually imitating a game show host persona. He’s actually a lot more introverted when just one on one. 

— Kinger does not know how to play chess. He does love a good game of Candy Land, though. 

— Jax has an exclusive copy of GTA VI. How did he get it? Nobody knows. When he’s in his room, he’s just off playing it, though he doesn’t like it as much as GTAV. He taught Kinger how to play and he’s actually pretty good. However, Kinger forgets after every time they play. 

— Gangle can and does slither like a snake from time to time on those ribbons; it just freaks out Ragatha so she doesn’t do it. 

— Gangle has an irrational fear of ball pits. Mainly because she’s worried they’ll get stuck in her smaller coils. 

— Zooble was once disassembled and used as a hot wheels ramp/course by Jax as a prank. Caine thus has banned the use of Hot Wheels from the Circus.  

— Caine and Bubble have full internet access. He keeps up to date with trends and sprinkles in references that the Circus cast obviously don’t get.

— Caine and Bubble have a lot of inside jokes and no filter when they’re together. Bubble is also comfortable saying anything to Caine.

there's this girl on tiktok who's brother moved out of her house, so he got a tiny little robot he can control from where he lives. so in her videos her brother just looks like a tiny little sentient robot who her family lives with (her @ is @ashleyseyoung)

i already headcanon that if the cast gets out of the circus they all find each other and live together. what if they take canie's ai with them, build a lil robot and put his ai in there so they just have a tiny little caine robot running around the house 🥹
