After months of drawing that first Varian/Baxter art piece, I decided to continue it and actually make like a full fledged AU (I'm aware it's already been made before but this is basically my own version of it). This will focus mostly on Varian, and how his actions begin to affect him mentally and to the point it causes his fate to end up in Hell.

This is what Varian looks like in my AU; Shifting Realities! He's much older, and he's finally got the scruff that he's always wanted! 🥹🥹
The gentleman beside him is my OC; Cletus. He's a shapeshifter because I am not original with superpowers. He's got purple hair and pronouns.
