thinking back on it tally and shay are very disaster bi coded in the books and i love that for them
So many of my favorite scenes, not that consequential for the overall plot but contributing so much to the characters and the world, are gone. Tally and Shays library prank and Shay reassuring Tally that she is beautiful in a quite bi reading way. SPAGBOL. Them going through old Rustie media. But also that is a general problem with the movie format, there just is more space in a book.
