Thanks For The Feedback - Blog Posts

Yes, the hole everyone is feeling—like they’re not quite right—is caused by Palette’s aura, which he inherited from Dream. (He’s not aware of that.)

There are a few different interpretations of who is affected by it, but here’s mine: very powerful or glitched people, like Error or Core Frisk, or gods (even if only in their own world), like all of Aftertale. Then there are Parasites, or people who are in control of their emotions, like Fresh and Ink—they would be immune (as well as their offspring).

(There’s also one other method I want to introduce later as a way to avoid it—if I stay motivated long enough to actually finish the story!)

Also, thank you for the compliment on the drawing and their dynamic! I tried not to write them as a ship (even if I do ship them), but more as a friendship—because that’s what they both really need.

And also, thanks for the feedback and questions—they really help motivate me to write the parts I normally don’t enjoy so much.

(Part 4) BFF <3

(Part 4) BFF

When Core found the box, they weren’t surprised for long. Omnipresence gave them the context they needed quickly. Gently, they lifted the tiny skeleton from the box, holding him with quiet care.

Core didn’t waste any time. This lonely nowhere was no place for him, so it was time to bring the newest inhabitant of the Omegatimeline home. And Palette was never alone again Core would make shure of that.

A small, winged friend he made almost immediately upon arrival was never far from his side.Goth and Palette grew up together, practically attached at the hip. It was rare to see one without the other. The little angel of death was the first Palette truly connected with—besides his Granpa. Palette was never bored with Goth. Most others were strange to Palette; he always had the feeling no one was real with him, always trying to please him. But Goth did fight with him. He yelled, he cried, they made up, they laughed—and everything felt real.

It was strange. Everyone besides Granpa and Goth felt not right. They always felt… not quite right!—

And for Goth, Palette was the first friend he could actually hug. Life as a reaper could be lonely. His father once told him only special people could get close to them. Goth agreed—Palette really was special

The two grew side by side, inseparable and happy for years and years

Until the day Palette decided to leave. Goth tried not to lash out—after all, he was not just mad he was sad.

He didn’t want Palette to leave, but he also didn’t want to hold him back. His father once said when you love something, you have to let it go—and when it comes back, it belongs to you. Goth really hoped his best friend would find what they were searching for… and would return.
