I wanted to make something encouraging in this garbage fire of a year. I’ve been reading Dune recently, and the fear quote has been like a mantra to me these past few months. I also combined one of my favorite video games, Journey, in there. Both have a mystical Middle Eastern influence and contain similar themes of perserverence, community, and meditative analysis of life’s obstacles.
Final day! Total of about 17 hrs to get this done. This is the first chalk art we have done that I've properly designed from the ground up, and I am so extremely happy with how it turned out. The peice is a mix of elements form the games journey and sky: children of the light. Also shout out to the amazing @imorphemi who inspired this peice and helped me out with the design.
