Working hard for 44 candles right now
Don’t know when the event ends so the deadline is unforeseen
But the result will be unforgettable
TRUST ME💪💪
The prices are just ridiculous. I mean I think there have been one or two that are worth the price (ex. the crow cape for this years days of mischief, it's so detailed! You can't see it in the pictures and I don't have one rn but all the feathers look individually made) but 99% of them still are stupidly overpriced.
And this is coming from a player of roughly 4 and a half years, who is also an adult with a job so I CAN afford them if I so choose.
They need to address this and actually do something about it.
not the screenshots but here i am addressing the prices of the days of mischief event.
as a player of 5 years, this makes me want to quit the game and NOT because i don’t have money to afford it (i do, but i’m mostly f2p for the past few months now) but because i feel like tgc has long lost the respect they had for their players.
In light of the fact that the theory that Aurora is a Megabird has become popular in the fandom, I came to express my own opinion on this. I am not questioning that Aurora is a deity (this is obvious), I am only questioning that she is powerful enough to be a force that rotates the universe. And so let's figure it out in order:
1. ORBrora
Our brains all exploded when suddenly Aurora covered the Colosseum with her power and transported us to some other place. It also exploded for me, but when I put it back together by the middle of the song, I began to think about how she did it. And the game itself gave us the answer. Bubble.
The same bubble that she creates before the start of each song.
Her power is limited on the outside, but inside the orb built by her voice, she creates reality herself. So during "Runaway" she showed us the Isle of Dawn even before it became a desert, because this is how she saw it, and this is how it looked in the time of Alef. In fact, we did not leave the Colosseum, otherwise how can we explain that we never moved during the entire concert, although it would seem that we flew half the world. Aurora only takes our mind on a journey while the body remains in still.
Inside the bubble, she is god, and this smoothly takes us to the next argument.
2. Color theory.
Someday I will explain how such a distribution of colors goes into the roots of the lore, and explains the reason why the Storm started and why Skykids are powerless in front of it. But we have come to talk about Aurora and her divine origin.
Yellow is the color of light, the color of a Megabird. And everything that came from her has a yellow accent on it. Well:
What color is Aurora in her bubble?
Boom. Megabird.
What color is Aurora in reality?
Boom. Classic spirit.
What color is Aurora in its true form?
Bo-what?
Yellow is not completely gone. Only half. No other spirit has a yellow color (and a divine form). So Aurora stands above simple spirits. Even above the constellations guides. But then who the hell is she???
Here is my answer:
No, well, you judge for yourself.
1. The symbol of Aurora is golden wings. What does it mean? The symbol of the season always has a special connection with its participants. But no one except Aurora has wings.
And now remember where else we have seen similar wings.
Does it look similar? But that's not all.
2. Aurora can talk to us.
In all of history, only the Little Prince could talk to us. Because he's our friend. Does this mean that Aurora is also our friend. That's what it means. But what distinguishes her from Prince is that she seems to be able to understand us. She calls the Skykids to dialogue. And if she really understands our speech, then that makes her the ONLY character capable of it. It seems she has a special connection with the Skykids. She knows who we are, about our mission and how it will end. She has seen the Orbit and is able to rebuild it in her simulation. Moreover, it takes us to the real Orbit. She is the voice that greets us at the beginning of our journey and she also guides us to its end. She is our guide. It is not for nothing that we are told this phrase at the beginning of the game:
3. The essence of the Skykids.
Skykids are sensitive to sounds. They do not know how to write, read, draw, but they know musical notation from birth and are able to use various musical instruments. That's why we follow the ringing of the bells, and Aurora calls us with her voice (both in seasonal quests and at a concert). Skykids love music. And Aurora seems to know that.
And that we have:
Mega Bird is the patron saint of nature and animals.
Aurora is the mentor of the Skykids.
"But how is that? We can't have two gods of light!"
How not? How can it not be, my dear ones?! When in the season of Shattering we were confirmed that there were TWO MEMORIES on the side of the light!
It was right under our noses, and we didn't pay attention to it! And if you look at the trees of the essences of light from the season, you will notice that one of them is longer than the other. So one of the entities is more powerful.
That's my verdict. Aurora is not a Megabird, but an ally of Megabird. She also has a certain power, but she is weaker than the main god of light. And she's also a great singer. It's all. Thank you all for reading this.
Happiness is rooted in a peaceful mind.
Frist time using gouache! This is based on an art piece i made last year.
You were always waiting for my return.
Here, I find peace.
Sky....So far all of the things i drew. Honestly drawing sky kids from birds references is pretty fun:D
Friends supposed to look after each over right?
A little familiar… isn’t it?
We got separated from the group so while they were holding a funeral for us we started bonding
I also fulfilled my life long dream of becoming a fluffy midget
I would like to share with y'all some random pictures took and that one time sky glitched out on me
I've got a small little drawing of my sky child without the cape cause I was using the ending part after eden as reference
Kh x sky! I tried to incorporate more of their personalities and less of their actual outfits into the capes and clothes. So here’s a quick rundown of the thought process of each cape and outfit.
.
.
.
.
.
Sora has a very simple design for his clothing cuz well, he’s a simple guy so I tried to give his clothes more of that causal islander feel than something elaborate. His cape resembles something of a royal cape cuz let’s be real his entire motif is basically a freaking crown. .
.
Kairi has a very flowery design cuz I felt that suited her, I made her clothes very earthy cuz unlike the guys, she spend more time on the island and in my perspective much more connected to it. Hence the very earthy colours .
.
Riku also has very simple clothes cuz, he in my eyes isn’t that much of a guy to dress up very elaborately but enough to be presentable. I made his cape full of stars, planets and cool colours cuz those things are very abstract but carry a certain kind of wisdom to them. Which I felt suited Riku cuz he’s a master and he is also someone who’s a very deep thinker. So yeh. That’s it enjoy
Sky: children of the light (2019)
You are a God. Centuries ago, people used to worship you. They prayed and celebrated in you name. But you were forgotten, and fell into deep sleep. one day, a little girl left a piece of candy on the ruins of your altar. You have woken up, and now, you have to protect her and her kindergarten.
Hello, fellow Skykids! Today I want to share with you a certain method I have developed and maximised to the best of my ability in order to get the most amount of candles in the laziest way possible.
In this, there will be 3 “steps” on afk farming that can be adapted, compromised and incorporated to fit your schedule and attention span as best as possible!
First of all though, if you don’t know how to properly convert pieces of light (also known as wax) to candles, I recommend looking at the chart on this page about what daily light is and how it works!
The first “step” is on how exactly to afk. As you might know, Sky has a built-in sleep mechanic which as far as I know, may disrupt your wax intake. (that makes them sound like calories, lol.) I have two methods on how to overcome this.
The first method, which I learnt from @LuminaSky on YouTube and is compatible with all devices, is to open the shop menu and open the more info page. By leaving this open, your Sky Kid will not go to sleep!
The second method that I use, which is only usable with Nintendo Switch players and rubber band owners, is to sling a rubber band around the joystick that controls camera movement so that the game always thinks that you’re still active!
Also, make sure that you set the sleep mode timer on your device to never and to make sure it’s on charge the entire time you’re afk.
The second step is daily events. The two I would recommend are the Table of Belonging event (also known as Grandma’s Dinner) and the Polluted Geyser event. Both happen every 2 hours and last for 10 minutes at a time, and have a maximum of 1000 wax you can collect from each of them in a day, but only 500 wax will appear every time the event happens.
Although, if you afk in either of them, you are unlikely to collect all 500 pieces of wax as they tend to spawn scattered around and require you to be running around to be able to collect them all. This however can be countered by simply being afk for at least 3-4 events instead, meaning you should plan to be afk in each place for 6-8 hours at least.
For example, if you afk in one event while you’re away for school or work, and then another while you’re asleep. (assuming you sleep for more than 5 hours. I also suggest to sleep on the Geyser event as the light there tends to be even more scattered.)
The third and final step, which only works during monthly events, (or days of events,) is ambient wax, also known as floating wax. Every event there is usually an area that passively spawns 1 wax approximately every 3 seconds (at least as far as I observed) and a maximum of 1000 wax can be collected from them in a day. Just find this area, afk for an hour while you do something else, and that’s it! 1000 wax acquired.
By utilising all these steps you can gain 16-18 candles (depending on whether there is an event active or not) or more, just by afking!
Hope this helps!
Days of Feast Horns - slot 0/1 (still open)
Triumph Violin - slot 0/1 (still open)
send me a comm and I’ll send you a one-time friend code! (Please note that I will not be unlocking the friendship tree!)
pleasee pay within a week’s time maximum! (If the IAP is a season/event item, it must be paid before the season/event ends)
In my headcanon is that their light does keep them warm. But the appeal of warmer clothing to Skykids is interesting to them.
Like we got Timmy here wearing the average moth fit in the middle of Valley of Triumph like the cold never bothered them anyways. Then next to Timmy we have someone already wearing appropriate gear for the temperatures in Valley of Triumph.
Overall it’s a cool idea that Skykid’s light keeps them warm. But also another thing is that their capes are made of light. Interpret that how you wanna.
A question to y’all:
Do skykids’ light keep them warm in the cold or do they need warm clothes to wear? What’s your take?
I headcanon that their light keeps them warm, but the idea them needing warm clothes to keep themselves warm is interesting.
gif form- this was not done with an emote.
My sky child sends love your way! 😘
They would do that just to piss Mekh off. haha!
based off of this
And this post describes my 2 current brainrots everyone
(Sky x cookie run)
This is whats on my pfp :)
SkyKid things
Sobbing 😂😭
5am rambling about Sky cause my sleep schedule is severely wack - includes personal headcannons about lore lmao- everything below the cut so you don’t get blasted with a billion words ✨
Heads up: this is not a fun silly Headcannon. It is
s a d.
You’ve been warned. There is a cute little doodle at the very bottom of this to make it up to anybody who reads this tho
This mainly pertains to moth players and Eden, I came up with this after watching a few folk’s own lore videos on their sky kid’s backstories and whatnot- imagine
Yknow all the moths you’ve adopted, guided through the world and befriended in the process? Once they enter Eden, that has the potential to determine their entire fate.
The moth’s who enter Eden, with or without your help, have to make it through. One way or another. Or, they don’t. They quit halfway through because they’re too afraid, or they don’t understand what they’re meant to do. Some manage to make it through Eden, but then think that’s the end of the game. No more, no seasons, no travelling spirits, no upcoming events, nothing.
I imagine the moths who never fully make it through Eden simply just.. die, in a sense. Their light, their soul, whatever you may call it, was not strong enough to withstand the storm and they simply perish and become one of the many statues trapped there, until you eventually come for your next run and free them.
Alternatively, the ones who make it out but quit shortly after - they were corrupted in some form by Eden - namely, the same power that may or may not have corrupted Resh - the Eden elder and/or king. I have my own theories about Resh too- but that’s for another time. They don’t continue, so their light/wings don’t grow stronger. Almost like an infection, they don’t have the strength to fight off the ‘virus’ (the corruption) as time passes, they remain stagnant and the corruption chips away at them until they ‘die’.
The sky kids who’ve fallen to corruption eventually return to either the wasteland or eden. Those who find themselves in the wasteland deteriorate slowly over time, transforming into crabs or simply dying, their bodies becoming seeds for dark plants to take root. Those who end up back in Eden aren’t so fortunate to have such a peaceful end. And I’m using the term peaceful very, very lightly.
Those who returned to Eden are back in the direct line of contamination from, as stated previously, the same power that corrupted Resh - their bodies rapidly deteriorate and give out on them, their remaining light unable to stay strong enough to stave off death. They don’t remain ‘dead’ for long though, the remains mutating into dark dragons or other beings of pure darkness. They wander aimlessly, trying to find any source of light in the hopes that they can relight the fire they lost, have the hope that - as minuscule as it may be - they can return to the lands of Sky and return to their normal life. The consciousness of the child who’s been mutated remains partially intact, that’s the only reason they’re still hunting down anything that gives off warmth - but they’re not aware of what they’ve become. All they know is that they’re cold, and that other sky kids run away from them no matter what they do.
In other words, the sky kids who don’t make it through are eternally trapped, until you provide them brief respite through freeing them during your weekly/monthly/etc runs. That’s why you see them in orbit sometimes. Those who can’t or refuse to continue perish, to put it very bluntly. I imagine after a certain length of time, their remaining consciousness fades entirely and all that’s left is a monster of darkness, wandering with nothing but subjecting others to the same fate as it fell to on its mind, taking out the envy, anger, and spite that got left behind on the poor souls it finds - those that have wandered where they should never have gone.
———————————————————
Ngl the only reason I came up was this is cause I wanted all the players who’ve quit at Eden, before/in/after, to have a purpose. It sounds bad when I put it like that but idk how else to put it— my old account, I started just before season of dreams started and I quit the same week cause I didn’t want to go through Eden, and I was unaware there was more to the game aside from “fly through pretty world, talk to old spirit looking things, die.” I returned to the game midway through season of remembrance, and I’m very glad I did. I don’t have a lot of headcannons for lore or anything like that, but this is one of them, and as sad as it is- I like it. I love the krill, I love the dark creatures and I love the light creatures too. I feel like the dark creatures don’t get enough love sometimes and I wanted to make something dedicated to them - and, again, it’s sad, but this makes me love them even more- even if I fell asleep by accident while playing that one time and got attacked by the krill and crabs so many times that I got sent to the pity room. Meh.
Anyways, here’s a doodle of my skykid and his buddies to make you less sad 👌
Should I draw Aeon? He’s one of my newer sky kid ocs, based them off an outfit I’ve been wearing in-game for a few months now and I already gave him lore n stuff- just haven’t drawn them yet
The silly in question
