I started watching the handmaid's tale and I can't stop thinking if they wanted kids why didn't they use IVF and surrogacy?? This was in the 21st century so I am sure they must have the technology.
hideko and sookhee from the handmaiden are 100% seulrene coded. especially in that one part where hideko complains that she came back from her "reading time" and sokhee wasn't there to help her get ready to bed, the way she says it reminded me so much of irene 😭
