Or maybe it was. Maybe Nicholas’s entire life has lead up to this moment, this town, this library. Maybe life so far has been lacking of any real sustenance, any defined meaning, any core reason. Maybe he’s spent the last twenty five years in wait for his life to truly begin, and this uneasy sensation brewing in his gut is the consistent, nagging reminder that he is alive.
All that matters is where he is now. In Ælctown, with a past of no real relevance, and a future unknown. What secrets lurk beneath the surface of this gloomy little town, seemingly on the edge of nowhere? And why does this unease make him feel so alive?

The Oddities of Ælctown is a Queer Paranormal podcast, following the story of Nicholas Webb as he untangles the mysteries left on tapes by 17 year old Beck from over forty years ago, in his audio diary that follows his confusing and lonely teenage years in Ælctown . It is written, voiced acted, directed,and produced by two young queer trans men, and aims to be representative of a multitude of different mental health issues, alongside various forms of queer representation.
