AvA theory I found on some spanish reaction YouTube video
spoilers!!!
So, while I'm not a fan of reaction videos, I checked out one in spanish and scrolled down the comment section to see people's thoughts, and I found an interesting theory. I'll put the translation below the image (I've had some problems with making this post, I'm using mobile, I hope it looks good on desktop)
Translation:
"To complete your theory: Maybe all figures created by Alan have a special power(like we've seen, Dark Lord, Chosen one and the Second Coming) because maybe they represent what Alan wanted at the moment.
When he created the Chosen One, Alan wanted a strong stickfigure with powers because.. why not? It was his first figure and and Alan was still experimenting. Also he didn't name it the chosen one just because yes.
Then he created the Dark Lord. When he created this one Alan at the moment just wanted a stickfigure capable of fighting and defeating the Chosen One, and that's just what came out: a lil figure whose only mission is to fight and nothing else, that would explain Dark Lord's lack on empathy.
Then lastly he created the Second Coming, when he created this one, Alan didn't want to repeat his past mistakes but yet still something inside him wanted to connect with his first powerful creation, that's why he named him the Second Coming or "the Chosen One's return"
He wanted another cool figure with powers, but at the same time he feared that what happened last time might happen again. And maybe that's why is so hard for the Second Coming to use his powers, because what came out is what Alan wanted: a super powerful figure, worthy or being the second Chosen One, but so that it is not dangerous to Alan, his powers are very difficult to activate. That would also explain Second Coming's friendly attitude, being that wanted little future conflicts when creating him.
But it is only just a theory, so in reality it doesn't matter much and I don't know why I spent so much time writing this"
So I saw this theory and while there is stuff that I don't fully agree with (I feel Dark Lord has more depth than just "fight") I feel is a pretty cool take on this.
So I wanted to share yeah
I got permission from the guy to post their theory, so yeah... idk how to end posts.
I think the mood for Chosen by the end of this video is ‘completely overwhelmed.’

I haven't watched Animation VS Addiction yet. (BOO WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!) who said that.
Alright here it is! I'm working on this silly little crossover idea for AvA and Sky: CotL, and I so want to share! For starters, about the crossover:
It's called either Animation vs. Sky or Season of Animation, depending on what angle you approach it from. For those who know Sky: the idea is to set it up exactly like a season would work, with cosmetics and a story line and a role for the player and everything. For those who don't know Sky: One, go play it, it's free, fun,and so pretty, and Two, basically just means that each character is going to get their own unique set of wings!
But anyways! First up is SC, who is also the Season Guide (for non-Sky-ers: 'tis means they give you the quests over the duration of the season). Their wings always look drawn, so no shading on them. I figured that would be a really cool, distinct cosmetic compared to Sky's art style. Also the couch is literally just the signature couch. It would be the item at the top of their tree. One itsy bitsy thing though... Their items are not the Ultimate Gifts (non Sky folks, don't worry about this). I have made an executive decision to break the rules a bit, mostly because there's someone with a cooler set of cosmetics coming up that was more deserving of that honor >:D
I'll be sharing more art for this and any ideas I have from now on. Eventually I'll write stuff for it. But in the meantime don't be afraid to ask me about this! Or suggest ideas! I actually don't know what the capes for everyone else will look like (aside from Chosen, Green, and Purple) so I am open to all ideas for our favorite boogers.
One of my favorite things about Broadchurch is that you always find something new that Chibnall has slipped in that’s a nod to some of the greats of British culture. Thomas Hardy not withstanding, one of my favorite moments actually came in S2, episode 1, when we see Alec being interviewed by Maggie and Ollie. At the point at which she points out the cliffs behind him and that they’re starting to crumble more and slide farther down we see him look behind him.
We get a good look at the mess of the beach as the camera pans around his shoulder and we get a good glimpse of what it looks like to Alec himself too. What he mutters is that nod to one of England’s poets.
“Things fall apart” is just a small piece quoted from William Butler Yeats’ poem ‘, ‘The Second Coming’, the full stanza reading:
“Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity.”
Yeats’s poem alludes to the poet’s belief that history runs in cycles of 2,000 years, and at the end of every cycle a new hierarchy would rule.
But Chibnall cleverly uses this line to show us just where his characters are following Joe’s arrest. Clearly nothing has gotten better. There’s still tension. People who have been best friends for years have had their friendships destroyed. Ellie has been estranged from her home, her town, and even her own son with the blame others have placed upon her.
And being the outsider, Alec can understand and see that perfectly. He’s still obsessed with Sandbrook and solving the case that had to have had split that town open at the seams. The irony of the situation of the cliffs starting to crumble away faster sets the tone of the story and understanding the poem from which Alec quoted is a clue as to how the story will go, I think.
“Mere anarchy” is the center of the storm and the guilty party himself: Joe Miller, and he sets up the whirlwind that threatens to flatten Broadchurch with his ‘not guilty’ plea. He fails to recognize his guilt in Danny’s death and tries to shift it onto others. In some ways he creates anarchy by refusing to stand up to what he has done wrong.
“The blood-dimmed tide” and “ceremony of innocence” can be nods to the victims of Sandbrook, Lisa Newberrie and Pippa Gillespie. Lisa dies with her blood all over the floor of the Ashworths’ home which in turn starts the Sandbrook case itself. For Ricky’s murder of Lisa, his daughter Pippa will pay the price. And of course the ceremony of innocence being “drowned” can only point to one thing:
“The best lack all conviction” can (mostly) be put towards Jocelyn Knight, who in the beginning of the story is apathetic to the trial of Joe and wants no part of the outside world. She’s lost her conviction in the light of her loss of eyesight and although she ultimately decides to take the Latimers’ case she starts it off unsure.
And of course Jocelyn’s hesitation and Mark’s secrets he keeps from the prosecution paves the way for the one who can only be labelled as the “worst with passionate intensity”:

At the end of the poem Yeats concludes by asking, “And what rough beast, its hour come round at last, slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?”
The second series ends with Joe’s being found innocent and his banishment from the town but it appears that Ellie warning him away from his own sons is going to come full circle at some point soon.
What rough beast will be born from that?

Honestly the Animation vs physics one is the only one i can kinda understand but the whole small series of them makes me think its a loop that never stops and from what im seeing i think it is
I really like the idea that its a dream seconds experiencing while in the cage at rocket corp which makes it more interesting cause each dream is becoming more dangerous which means he's probably going through a lot of stress while awake

All the rest of colour gang had matching jackets, so Alan drew Orange his own one
They don't know basic life skills like tying shoelaces, so they only wear velcro trainers (me too buddy, me too)
They aren't aware of their powers, but he does get drawing skills/super strength from them, especially when fighting
He has autism (that's barely a headcannon at this point, have you seen those guys stim?)
They look up to TCO, but that's because they don't know about the whole website destroying thing
