Lance is talking animatedly with the rest of the team, all loud voice and expressive hands.
Keith is just calmly sitting there, eyes on a space orange Voltron received from the last people they saved, carefully peeling it.
Lance is still talking when Keith taps a finger on his shoulder. Lance turns to look at him, tirade and movements interrupted, one hand still suspended in mid-air.
Without a word, Keith drops a segment in his palm before turning back to eat one himself.
Lance stares at the segment in his hand. Then at Keith. Then back at the segment.
His face decides to promptly combust.

maybe I'm dumb that it took me this long to realize but when Arthur tells Gwen he has a dream to run away and be a farmer his only frame of reference for how farmers actually live is that one time that he was in Ealdor with Merlin sleeping on his cold floor and eating porridge and he hated it, my god, did he hate it but he was also with Merlin and it's the only time he didn't have to be Prince Arthur he could just be Arthur and he remembered that feeling of being just Arthur and Merlin and he coveted it so deeply that it became his dream?????

I just realised the comparisons between Obi Wan dropping his lightsaber and old-fashioned handkerchief etiquette and I am going absolutely insane.
For anyone who doesn’t know, a woman would throw her handkerchief out the window for the man she loves to pick up. If he picked it up, he would fold it and put it in his pocket to intoxicate he accepts and reciprocates her affection.
Or she would walk around in a public park or someplace like that and drop it for eligible men to pick up. The intention was to try and have a moment where their hands would brush together when the man hands it back to her, and so they could have a moment of eye contact and could smile at each other.
This idea works so well with the fact that Obi Wan and Cody wouldn’t be able to express their feelings publicly, so the idea of them having a secret language with each other that could just be laughed off as a joke or Obi Wan being clumsy isn’t too hard to believe. It also ties into the “your lightsaber is your life” concept that people have spoken about on here before and emphasises that the beauty of this relationship is the subtlety of it.
It would be drastically irresponsible for Obi Wan to intentionally drop his lightsaber mid-battle, but it does paint the scene where it falls out of the sky and lands directly in front of Cody in a slightly different light. It also makes Cody having a clip on his belt much more symbolic becwuse this would be the equivalent of him taking the handkerchief and putting it in his pocket.
It also recontextualises Cody’s last action as a free man before Order 66 (taking his time to hand back the lightsaber to Obi Wan) as essentially a declaration of love. So his last real choice he got to make was to tell Obi Wan that he loves him one last time.
