We save the most intense conversations
For the crowded train rides back home.
Not the same home. Not now. Not ever.
We stand in between the bustling crowd,
Look out the window and avoid each other's eyes
You hum under your breath, and I pretend I didn't hear it
We talk about the day in moments.
Ones that made us laugh, ones that felt grateful,
And then about the ones we didn't think the other would notice.
That brings a smile to your face,
So I crack open my otherwise dark heart just a little.
To let that light inside. You smile again, and I break again.
I tell you things I wouldn't tell you when we're alone
In the silence of an empty road where you can hear my voice break
So I find comfort in the crowd muffling out my pain.
The train stops, and you forget it's time.
It's time for you to get down, that it's time for us to reset.
We hug, you get down, and I watch you walk away.
One of these days will be our final train ride like this
Where we talk about us.
And we'll get down, go home. Not the same. Not ever.
But maybe one that's just as loved.
Beloved ,you dwell in two places;the place where you live and in my heart -)RB
Looking at the sky is like looking back in the time. The night knew ,the moon saw and the stars retold our story-)RB
True solace is being the reason for their smile -)RB
Silence is tolerable but the real heartbreak is when their eyes too stop speaking to you. -)RB

-Is someone getting married?
Why didn't you tell her?
-Hasrat hi rahe to behtar hai ...
Chaand haansil ho jaye,to kahan chaand lagta hai.
Translation
It is better to have regrets, than to have the moon obtained.
Your reflection in the mirror,
Is the image of moon at night formed in the river.
You are the amaranthine flower,
in the heart of your every admirer.
You are that gardener ,
Who make the Soul of every human blossom like a flower.
You are the Art
And
Being your connoisseur,
Makes us grow every day even better.

Some things are just better left unsaid. I’ve never been good with words, especially on the spot. I usually take my time to think about what I want to say and sometimes it takes me a while to respond.
But sometimes, there’s no point in saying anything more. If it’s not going to change anything or fix the problem, why say more and possibly bring more hurt? The trust has already been broken, wounds already inflicted. We can’t go back and change the past. Some mistakes you can fix, some you can’t. Forgiveness is one thing, but forgetting is another thing altogether.
So I’ll just leave it as it is.
