FAMILIAR FAMILIAR is a self indulgent TOTK AU where Link and Zelda traverse the wild lands of Hyrule together. There are ruins to be discovered and monsters to be eaten.
This project is a linktober challenge that will extend past the month of october. Please be patient with me as this is entirely being funded by a hyperfixation and the support of beloved patreon backers (ty patreon backers). Holy moly, Okay, I finally found the origin of my TLOZ AU idea, it all started with my spooky little skull kid / kokiri (skullori) idea. I imagine after some time there would be blended variations or kokiri would eventually have to be tougher. See that little spike knee bracer? He totally stole it from Ganondorf and is going home to show all of his friends. Then above is some early concept designs for zurudo people (they're so unpolished ;w; ) also I had to sensor my name on these before I did my little MA signature. I hope peeps can trust me on that that these are in fact my drawings and all that but I really didn't want to leave these unshared today <3
(forgive me these are a little older) But further back, still expanding my AU and studying the artstyle for TLOZ Wind Waker. I am particularly proud of the deku tree and the deku mole, two entities sharing one massive, eldrich-like body in order to protect and transport the spirits of the forest above and below the great flood's barrier. I WEAR by all things this was before Tears of the Kingdom and I never thought it would fit SO well with the things that developed in the canon of the game. This was an ongoing idea I had in 2022 and maybe even further back. Enjoy!
A windwaker AU I've thought up where a portion of the Zora are left behind in Hyrule as Ganon takes over before the great flood. Their culture and the gerudo's blend and their tribes become one. Even the evolution of 'the silent princess' flower takes a turn thanks to the magical influence of the legendary Twin Rovas. The culture freely practices magic and always known the sky to wave.
I finally got all of the squares put together for the Zelda Tessellation!! It was a lot of work but it was totally worth it
At some point I might end up doing the bad guys/all the versions of Zelda too, but that won't be for a hot minute lollll
Can't leave out my boy Ravio- he's gotta keep an eye on his rental stuff!
It's the last Zelda Tessellation! Next time I'll post the whole thing put together!

I kept forgetting to post my thoughts but I'm SUPER pumped for Wind Waker on a portable device, VERY EXCITED for Imprisoning War, and uh,,, not so pumped about the price lol
I mean hopefully as time goes on it'll drop but yeah,,,,, other than that it's a Nice upgrade compared to the og switch!
Here's a Link to the Past! I figured the beginning dungeon was iconic enough to include here- this is a game that would be cool to play sometime!

A little Link scrapbooking thing with an old page out of a dictionary, washi tape (bought from @/kittyalyst on insta), and stickers from a couple Antiquarian Sticker Books! (If y'all haven't seen them before they're SUPER cool)
Also disclaimer- a local used bookstore opened that sells book paraphernalia (i.e. loose book pages, covers, spines, etc) so I DEFINITELY didn't rip a page out of a dictionary for this lol
Squadalla! Honorable mention with Link in the Faces of Evil! Tbh as much as I think a remaster would be hilarious, there's a specific brand of funny that the original has,,,

I really enjoyed TotK! It was a really solid game and I liked the new editions and how they did the time skip between this game and BotW! What did y'all like about the game?
Here's Breath of the Wild! Next, I plan to post Tears of the Kingdom.
Both of these games had different vibes with the story but both were equally good! I still wonder how they could have made the disappearance of the Sheikah Tech a little more creative lol (The Actual Reason is kind of lackluster for Nintendo haha)
